I placed my Zody (by Haworth) for $299 in the middle of Pandemic. I received an email confirmation about the shipment delay about 14 days due to Covid-19 quarantine. I have received a shipped confirmation notice in 10 days and ground shipment arrived in a nice package. It was great price for Zody chair which I use in office for 5 years.

I noticed back support was not straight and it was not supporting forward tilt. I sent an email regarding the issue then the have asked to send pictures. Customer server has given two options whether the replacement or refund. Customer service was genuinely handled the concern.

I love my chair!

I love my chair! It arrived in perfect condition. The customer service was excellent. I was a bit nervous ordering a chair that wasn't brand new in the box but the person I spoke to at Madison answered all my questions and assured me that I would receive a great product.

Ultimately I am very pleased with the service I received from Madison Seating. The first Criterion chair they sent me was faulty (wouldn't maintain its seat height), and I was encouraged to return it via FedEx (paid by Madison). I was slow to make this happen (truth be told) and by the time I got around to it, I was unable to disassemble the chair as advised (simply would not work). After further consultation, the company agreed to send me a new chair without having to return the original broken one. I was extremely grateful. My new chair is working beautifully, and a fabulous chair it is: comfortable, sturdily built, attractive, and wildly affordable (given the discounted price). Thank you!

Horrible experience

Please please... don't ever buy from this business
I bought a chair from them which was defective... and they never responded to my complain when I file a complaint with BBB they responded to me saying why I went to BBB and they won't approve the warranty
Save your self some trouble and stay away from this merchant

Got Office Desk Chair Hermin Miller

I got my Hermin Miller Office Desk Chair Armless.
Fast Shipping, Nicely packaged.
The price for the chair was unbeatable.
I couldn't find it for that price even on Ebay. Really Quality Chair. Brand new condition.

Fantastic!

Received my Aeron chair on time and delivered as instructed.

Had two (2) little scuffs on the frame - not a big deal, as this was Open Box - don't think anyone else would notice.

Great value

Installation was a breeze, as Customer Service advised.

Love the Sapphire Blue color.

Couldn't be more pleased. Just wish I had bought my first Aeron chair from them!

I purchased the Leap Chair V2 by Steelcase on 11/17 and it arrived a little over a week later. Unfortunately, when I took it out of the box, there were a couple of pieces of plastic in the bag holding the chair part that indicated something broke in transit. Once I assembled the chair, I discovered the plastic piece that connects the back of the chair to the main frame was broken. I took some photos to share with the business and they responded right away. They're now going to send me a new chair without requiring me to send this one back. I appreciate the swift and helpful customer service.

I was shopping for a new desk chair since I've been working from home for several months and my old chair was killing my back. I read good reviews on the Steelcase Leap V2 chair and Madison Seating had the best price I could find. When the chair arrived, I was not disappointed in the comfort, but unfortunately it was uneven and had a severe wobble. I contacted Madison Seating for warranty service and their reply surprised me. They told me they would of course replace the chair, but on top of that, they would send me the new one before I had to send back the old one. This was great because even though the chair is wobbly, I can still use it until the new one arrives. I also already turned the old box into a fort for my 2-year old so I can send the old chair back in the new chair's box.

I recently purchased a Steelcase Leap V2 from Madisonseating. The chair was damaged when I received. I contacted the customer service. They responded very quickly and offered a new replacement. Very happy with the purchase and service. Will definitely come back and strongly recommend the company.

The box I received from Madison Seating was heavily damaged by FedEx, which I could see from the way they struggled to carry it to my building. Not surprisingly, despite the copious amounts of padding inside the box, the chair was also quite damaged. I sent the pictures to Madison Seating and they promptly offered to send me a new one.

We have purchased chairs from the company before and have not had any issue until recently. We ordered 4 chairs, specifically the "Think chair by steelcase". After assembling the previous three, the fourth one had an issue regarding maintaining it's level. There was an issue with the gas cylinder and after emailing back and forth with the service team at madison, we were provided with the option to receive another gas cylinder. Unfortunately, this particular part is extremely difficult to remove once set. Even going through the steps provided from the video, the gas cylinder would not budge.

Finally, it was deemed the best course of action was to send out another chair. Originally, it was quite worrysome to have this chair start giving out so soon, especially since we have quite a few in service at the office. We were happy however to hear they will stand by the product.

If you need a quality desk chair at a reasonable price for your office, look no further than Madison Seating. Humanscale's Freedom Chair is what I chose, but you can also find Herman Miller and Steelcase chairs. Fabric or Leather in a variety of color ways. Carpet or Hardwood floor rollers. Happy shopping. I purchased an Aeron chair from Madison Seating. When the chair arrived, it had a pronounced wobble due to a poor base bushing. When I contacted Madison, they told me that this was normal and directed me to a YouTube site showing the wobble in which customers complained and sought fixes. I contacted Herman Miller (chair manufacturer) to understand issue and whether a fix exists. They stated that this was absolutely not normal tracked the "new" chair that I had just bought was actually made in October of 2000.

Madison Seating will take the chair back but I pay shipping and a $50 restocking fee. This is outrageous.

I bought a "new" Aeron Chair from this retailer, and it did not last six months. They now claim that the chair lost its warranty.

I purchased a Steelcase Leap V2 from Madison Seating and it was shipped from NJ -> CA.
Item arrived damaged. Contacted the Madison Seating support team in order to get some assistance. After submitting a few photos and working with a very responsive support team via eMail I have been offered a new replacement chair at no cost. Happy with the sale and service. Thx Madison Seating~

Customers Beware

Customers Beware.
I ordered a very expensive, top of the line Aeron chair from Maddison Seating. The chair arrived unassembled. The pieces sent did not fit together.

BEWARE: this company does not provide any type of paid return service. In fact, if you return an item, they will charge the ustomer 75$ as a fee. What a Crock of BS.

Take my advice, and do not trust this company for any type of customer support after the sale!

Great Service and Prices

I bought a refurbished Humanscale chair from Madisonseating.com for a fraction of the price of buying a new chair. Since it seems working from home is a new norm, I needed a quality chair, but didn't want to spend almost a thousand dollars on the office chairs usually recommended. The price was good for a good quality product that was shipped relatively quickly. I had a minor issue which was quickly resolved so I can say the service is also great.

Extremely unprofessional and unreliable

I ordered an Aeron chair from them on Sep 2, never even received an automatic email confirmation for the order, only got it a week later when I asked a question. Emailing them is pretty useless, btw, as you just get a canned response, rather than something that actually addresses your inquiry.
In any case, today is September 20th, and there is still no sign of the chair. I call them to say that unless the chair is shipping like RIGHT NOW, I would like to cancel the order. The sales rep said that because of delays the chair is only going to ship early October. Was I ever notified of that? Would I have known that if I didn't call? Of course not!
And then she says, "You will receive a confirmation that the order is canceled, bye". THAT is the kind of service you should expect if you order from them. If you expect literally any semblance of professionalism, this isn't the company to order from.

Coming here now to share a recent experience with Madison Seating. I purchased a Steelcase Leap V2 office chair from them to give to my wife, and my God do I regret that purchase. There's an old saying - if something sounds too good to be true, it isn't. I'm feeling that one right now, as seeing a Leap V2 for less than $500 should definitely stand out as something about it not being right.

The chair that Madison Seating provided me, advertised as "open box", was actually crudely refurbished, at best. Comparing it to the Leap V2 I am sitting in right now that I bought from a local seller, the fabric is low quality, uncomfortable and the padding was also likely replaced with lower quality material. The best part, though, was the fact that there were two screws just jammed into the bottom of the seat, right at the lip where the plastic meets the fabric. I assume this was to further secure the fabric from the cheaply done upholstery work, but because they didn't pre-drill the holes, and they weren't threaded, the screws brought plastic up and out and was left in a jagged manner to scratch my legs when I sat in the chair.

I contacted Madison Seating about this, and was told that I could return it...if I paid for the shipping and restocking fees, totaling about half of the cost of the chair. Total scam, and to be fair, I should have seen it coming.

Just buy this stuff full-price from a reputable company, or be sure to inspect it yourself before buying 2nd hand or refurbished. Don't trust Madison Seating.

Great customer service

I bought a Steelecase chair from Madison Seating at a very good price. Even when it arrived well packed, it came with a part broken. I contacted their customer service by email, they answered me immediately. I sent them a picture of the chair with the defect, and they offered either to send me a new chair, or refund me. Very good cusmer service, makes the company turstworthy.
