Technical glitch led to names being swapped on the boarding pass on the day of travel. Refused to reimburse travel expenses, and they also inflate costs

I would give this company zero stars if possible Travelopick and Lookbyfare. They are very deceptive and unprofessional. I was charged three times for a reservation of three airline tickets, but I was unable to board any of the flights. Additionally, they charged my son and nephew's cards when we tried to book another flight, which we also couldn't board. The total charges to my card were $409.23 multiplied by three, amounting to $1,227.69. My son and nephew were each charged $698.23, totaling $1,396.46. Despite these significant amounts, I am still unable to obtain a refund. When I called customer service, they claimed that our records showed we boarded the flight. If that were the case, why would we have incurred such high charges? As a result, I had to have a family member purchase a ticket for me to get home. I've lost a substantial amount of money dealing with this company. When I called back, a representative named Dedrick was very rude and unprofessional. I am devastated by this experience and have suffered a huge loss with no clear answers. Please do not use this company.

Hard to tell when I'm getting there with the time zones in action, making it tough for me to plan my trip, but was able to obtain clarity from customer service.

My husband and I travel often, and generally don't have issues with booking or websites; however, this website was different. After I booked my flights, it took about 6 hours for my credit card to be charged, which left us wondering if we really had a reservation. After it finally posted with our ticket numbers, the plane seat tickets that we paid $128 for didn't show up on my United app. I called the LookByFare number and was told "trust me," the seats will appear on our reservation the day before our flight leaves, even though the seats still appear to be available right now on the United website. The company did reach out to me to try to resolve the issue with the seats that we purchased, so that was appreciated and the situation was successfully resolved in a few days.

Everything went through pretty smoothly with getting everything going with my flights, even got text messages when my flight either switched terminals or were delayed great job I would definitely book through you guys again and give recommendations

I booked a flight with this company after another booking company refused to change and update me on new flights.
But because this company had better rates and the more convenient hours I snagged the more accommodating and available flight.
However, Look by fare delayed contacting me in a timely manner, the flight increased by a considerable amount and I was not happy about it.
I decided to keep my flight after much consideration but the cheaper amount would have been greatly appreciated.
So, it's way better than getting truly screwed over as with the other booking company.

My booking shows a no carry and no checked baggage note. As this is an international flight it goes without saying this can not be correct. I have never had this happen before. Please advise that this is in error. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

As Canadian citizen, the indication of the USD purchasing was NOT clearly shown. The rate of Canadian currency in exchange for US was at 40%. Which was not clearly indicated to the customer. Therefore Your company did Not provide me with a better deal on my ticket from Montreal to Vancouver. I found a better price on Expedia.
Lookbyfare called me after receiving my survey of dissatisfaction. They were very helpful to resolve my issue.

Got on sight to find a somewhat last minute flight for my daughter to join me and extended family for Christmas. This site did the search and found exactly what I wanted at a great price. I'll be using it again for more travel searches.

When booking with "Look by Fare" it was straight to the point and had easy guidance on what I was purchasing, the route I was taking and the extra charges if any were shown to me clearly, where as other websites when booking seem to have extra unnecessary steps. Do you want to have a clear and precise way to view what your purchasing for your flight? Packing and planning is the hard part but when trying to book let's make it easy! Get booked with "Look by Fare" your stress free booking website!

I to be honest recently booked a pretty good deal,however I realised I made a mistake on accuracy regarding my input and immediately called back to change it.Lets just say,the Customer service personal were Not rude,But Not exactly friendly.👎🏻I had to call back three times to get it corrected.🙄🙄🙄🙄

I was surprised to receive a call changing my plan and adding some other items and add some money. Have never had this experience when booking online. The guy was excellent but an extreme different experience
I received my confirmation and haven't checked with the airline to see if all seats are reserved etc. your company operates very different

Facing a medical emergency of a family member 4 states that has become more urgent, Donald was a great help getting me through the process of changing my reservation dates. He was very courteous and patient with me and made sure my needs were met.
Tell Donald #4660 that I appreciate and thank him for his help, more than he'll ever realize.

I purchased my ticket and thought I was getting a great deal and immediately received a phone call saying they had to add on 100 dollars for taxes or something.
I don't like hidden fees especially after the purchase was final!

For someone who is not a tech savvy, individual, using the site was done without frustration and with ease. I had to make a flight for funeral arrangements so my anxiety was already through the roof and didn't have any issues with this site. Thank you so much for making it user-friendly.
