99.9% of puppies on here are from puppy mills. We adopted a puppy and he had all the attributes of a puppy mill dog. Terrified of everyone, didn't know how to play, didn't trust anyone, smelled like a barn even after MANY baths. He ended up becoming aggressive towards my husband and 2 year old daughter, we had to take him back to the "breeder" because no rescues or shelters would take him. After we returned him I reverse searched the man's number, found his state license #, and lo and behold he is published in the Horrible Hundred, published by the Humane Society of the United States. He has several violations. Do NOT adopt from "Allen Miller" in Millersburg, OH. His full name is actually James Allen Miller.
I drove over 2 hours to see a puppy. When I got there the puppy looked ok. But the parents were filthy and matted and The sire was looking petrified. They had him hidden until I asked to see him. The puppy had smelly ears so I figured it had an ear infection or something going on. The puppy was also living in a cage on the barn floor with some hay. I almost bought him, but my gut said no. I looked again and he is sold. I hope someone has luck with him and he is healthy.

Edna and Lancaster has tentacles through out country. Don't buy off Amish or off farm. They will die and Lancaster pays off vet for clean bill of health. It happened to me. Paid $3000 in vet bills. Nothing from Lancaster but lies. Stoponlineouppymills did a whole story about my experience.

Scam breeders the Amish are likely selling inbred puppies at a discounted rate. Websites like this and Greenfield puppies advertise puppies being mass produced at off grid Amish puppy mills and steel your money. No way! Walk away and grab an ethical breeder.

We have been on the search for a Havanese puppy for several months now. Along the way, we have run into several puppy scams. Lancaster puppies was the first reputable website we found. We purchased a male Havanese puppy from breeder Kirsten Zimmerman out of Ohio. She and her family were great to work with, very transparent and honest. When our puppy was delivered, he was very well behaved, and well groomed; good signs that he was well cared for. He came with vet records, vaccination records, registration papers and a sample of puppy food for smooth transition. I am so thankful to have found this website and an honest, reliable breeder. Our puppy search is over and we are so excited to call this puppy ours.

I bought my first puppy a little over a year ago from a very nice lady in the southern part of PA. Lydia is her name. She helped me find transport for the puppy. I have no idea how I would have gotten her home without the breeders help. The puppy was beautiful and clean and health and happy when she arrived to me from approximately 400 miles away. This puppy has been my Joy ever since she arrived. No joy is not her name. I love her so much and I'm so happy she came to me. I am happy with my experience on Lancaster Puppies and am looking there for my second puppy.

We bought our German Shepherd from David King in Gordonville, Pennsylvania in April of this year. Thor just turned 10 months old was perfectly healthy, thriving growing, and the joy of our life. Yesterday morning we woke to him, passed away in his cage overnight. He had a congenital heart defect we had no idea of that is genetic from over breeding. Our family is devastated and I want people to know that this breeder is not reputable and is possibly selling dogs that aren't gonna live even a year 💔

The page is real, the dogs real, not just some cute pictures! A tip for future buyers,; pay upon pickup! Make sure you communicate with the seller through video chat and see that they have the dog that you are interested in. I had a good experience 100%.

Picture of Barney ( Beagle) was not him. Barney at three months looked as if he was 6 weeks old. So under weight. ( you could see his ribs) as all my dogs previous the majority where rescues. All I can say is I gave her (Rosella) the money. I Rescured Barney. I wish you can see him now.i did report the the Amish puppy mill and Rosella.

I contacted 4 Boston terrier breeders via text about their pups. They all responded in a timely manner. No one asked for deposit. I drove 3 hrs to pick up my new pup. She's healthy and with AKC papers. Great experience.
I bought a 9 week old Shi-Poo from breeder Marian Fisher through Lancaster and the puppy could not be more perfect. She is a real love, loves people - which leads me to believe she received a lot of human love prior to her release. I would buy another from this breeder and I just may do that! She was king, helpful and caring and produces great dogs!

After searching for months for a Corgi it occurred to me to check other states. We drove from north GA to Pembroke KY for the best puppy ever. After speaking on the phone I gave a $100 deposit and arranged to meet the following Saturday. Chris Hoover raises well bread Corgis, at least according to our vet! Our puppy was in perfect health and picture perfect!

Yuck. Mennonite (Amish) the place is not nice at all. Pups in kennel type barn. Stinky, pups were coughing. These people don't know anything about the breeds they are breeding. No knowledge. Just how? How can they be in business? Breeding too many breeds for sure.

I can't even give them one star. I contacted them after I was defrauded by one of their listing Breeders, with specific information. The breeder represented on the site that the puppy was a Maltipoo---and it is actually a mix of five breeds. Lancaster said that, indeed, the puppy looked like a Shih Tzu (the actual dominant breed), and that they would "look into it". I have received no response from them and they continue to allow this Breeder to list similar puppies on the site. The Breeder's name is Bunny Hutchinson of Eden, New York. Avoid her at all costs.
