Update 11/17/23
My pups that I paid "premium* for... Is the last 5 pups listed. LAST! 200 some pups in front of me. Less pics. Less info. No video. No parents, but they Alllll in front of my PREMIUM Paid AD! Liars. (Update end)
Update... 11/13/23
Now my puppies which I paid for a premium ad...$25 per puppy... is amongst the last 10 puppies on my breeds pages. Yup. I'm last. But i paid the highest amount. Hundreds in front me. I'm in the last 10. (update end).
THE NEW SITE THEY BUILT IS 100 % UNFAIR & CROOKED
I breed one breed and it's counter-part Hybrid.
1. They claim the pages are shuffled. LIE. Ive been watching my breeds page as well as other breeds. Same pups at the top. Same pups at the end... LIKE MINE. Mine are in the last 20 pups... Out of 300 some and mine have not moved. I paid $20 per pup.
2. They said, the ones at the top will be the Premium ads that pay $25... Ok. So, I paid $25 each puppy for my new litter and guess what... Breeders with one pic whom obviously only paid $15 are ahead of mine. Not one, but bunches. Another LIE.
3. They said those with parents pics, videos and lots of info and pics will be posted on the first pages. More LIES... Mines haven't moved and there's breeders with waaaaaay less pics and info in front of mines.
4. Been all over the site. Anyone can clearly see, they are placing the Amish Mills in the forefront and the smaller breeders on the last pages. Doesn't matter if you pay the $15 the $20 or the $25. None of that matters at all. They are placing whomever "they want" at the Top.
5. What really sucks... When a viewer clicks on a puppy and then pushes the back button... They are not returned to the spot they were. They get bumped back to the top. So no one is going see my pups ever.
6. So once again and we hear it all the time. Small breeders are put out. Amish Mills are put out front.
Furthermore. There's 2000 cavapoo & cavachons pups. Please someone tell the Amish to stop breeding cavapoos and cavachons. There's ENOUGH. If you can't sell puppies for not even $200-$300 then they shouldn't be bred. Duh.
Next... Sooooo thrilled one can now see how many puppies a breeder has posted and how many different breeds they do which obviously points out the puppy mills easier. NICE I found breeders on there with 700 puppies available. Wth? How many dogs has to be in one kennel for them to have 700 pups available? Absolutely insane. How is any breeder breeding 10-15 diff breeds? A Good breeder only does what they love and has tons of knowledge about the breed. For instance A Qualified Breeder may do 3... Golden retrievers, Golden doodles and Labradoodles. All some what related similar breeds. You got breeders on there that does Goldendoodle's Boxers Bulldogs Yorkies Cavapoos Rottweilers & Pomeranians ummm hello what is going on there? How can a breeder be dedicated to doing 6 breeds or more, no way, they can't.
To the breeders: keep track of your pups. Keep track of all the pups that fall before yours so we can prove once again that Lancaster is a bunch of liars & cheats & promotes Mills.
Ps. If you've ever wondered how much the site makes... Go add up every puppy on the site... times $20... every 45-60 days. That's their average income. I did the MATH... It's about $500,000 every 45-60 days. Yesssss HALF A MILLION DOLLARS every 45-60 days. With that being said you can see reviews on here where they say they made a mistake and their ads were deleted and not refunded. Jeez. No wonder they don't care about the working class or small breeders... they got all the money in the world. Yikes.
I'll keep updating
We live in Scranton Pennsylvania. My wife and I sort of went on an adventure this late summer to shop for a new little poodle mix. Recently loosing our Snoodle and Cockapoo. We were focusing on Cavapoo Maltipoo or another Snoodle. We live only a couple hours away from the Lancaster area. We visited 6 Amish kennels which I would refer to as dirty unclean puppy mills. What I learned from this website is *normal good dog breeders* have pics of their pups inside their homes and the pups look clean in their pics, these are not Amish breeders. I learned very quickly tho, pics of the pups taken outside instead of inside are all Amish kennels. They don't have animals in their homes, its against what they believe and therefore they have no pics of pups in the home. This explains all the outdoor pics verses indoor pics. When ads say phone calls on Sundays will be returned on Mondays that's definitely Amish beware. The pics of the Amish pups are filthy compared to the other in-home breeders on their site. These are some of the pups that we visited and no I did not adopt any of their pups. Anyone can see how filthy these pups are. Their hair was badly stained, legs, feet & faces are stained, why so dirty? Well... As I seen with my own eyes they live in filth. Dog boxes, cages, runs, kennels & units are filled with pee & poop. The dogs live in it, sit sleep play nurse & eat in it and that's why they are so filthy stained in their pics. It's amazing that they even post these pics & people actually go out and buy these pups. Sure I could use the excuse that I had to save them but these places do not deserve my money or yours. I finally found a breeder on their site that was only 4 hours away. Their pups pictures were clean, the pups looked groomed in their pics & videos, in fact they had pictures from the week before and the weeks prior and they were clean in each weeks pictures. So we visited the following week and lo and behold when I went to their establishment the puppies environment was clean! If their environment is kept clean on the daily then no hair gets stained. A dog's hair can only be this stained from a filthy environment. Keep that in mind when you shop on this site. Look for clean puppy pics, indoor pictures being taken and check to see if they're available on Sundays. After picking out our puppy which wasn't ready to go for another week, the dog breeder actually drove half way and met us the following weekend. I did share my experience with the dog breeder that we finally decided to go with and their family had nothing nice to say about the site either. Be sure to choose wisely.
Please make sure you buy your puppy from a Reasponsable breeder. Who knows how they are really treating these pups before selling them!. I bought a maltipoo from a guy in Ohio named delbert! He took a while to reply most times or didn't even answer specific questions, it was difficult to even try to get pictures and videos of the pup. Long story short when I received my puppy a day later we found a $#*! ton of fleas and when we took her to the vet, they also found two ear infections IN BOTH EARS. Not to add on that she also came with a bump injury on top of her head that is now skinning. He told me that before my puppy was going to be delivered, that she'd receive a vet check, but how could a vet doctor just allow a puppy to come to its owner in these ways? Either HE LIED or the vet doctor is just plain STUPID! First infested with fleas and two with ear infections. How could the transportation people have not NOTICED this upon her? My puppy is only 2 months and she came looking like hell, I cried and have been crying for days because I felt so bad for her and now we are dealing with a flea problem at home that we have never in years dealt with. We have two golden retrievers that never EVER experienced a flea infestation! He proceeded to say she received the fleas in MY HOME? 1. She already had dozens of adult fleas and bites around her body, how could this have happen only being one day in my home? I'm pretty sure we would've knew if the house was infested which was NOT, we would've seen it on our retrievers which they did not even have! How could he have let this happen? It comes to show how awful he was treating these poor puppies. Now we have a bill to pay for the vet and for pest control! TERRIBLE! I repeat if you see a man named DELBERT from Ohio, DO NOT BUY PUPPIES OFF HIM and if you do PLEASEE I repeat PLEASE force this man to send all kinds of pictures and videos of the puppy and where it sleeps, how it's being treated ETC! Unbelievable.
We went on to lancasterpuppies.com and drove out to two appointments to look at puppies and both of them were Amish puppy mills one was in the Lancaster area and the other one was in the Allentown area. Yoder was one last name and the other was Miller. The one place had about 80 dogs and the other place had about 60 dogs. These kennels were supposedly inspected and licensed but they were rather dirty and very unfriendly looking for the mothers and fathers. The puppies we viewed were filthy covered in poop and pee. They had the audacity to tell us the dogs hadn't been bathed yet. One place said we can bathe the puppy that you decide to take home. Ridiculous. How about bathing your litter of puppies just because they're dirty not because one is leaving. We didn't adopt a puppy from either place. When we viewed the parents I'm not sure that they were full-blooded Shihtzu & Toy Poodle. The one Yoder Amish man told us that his Shihtzu may have a little bit of something else in it. When we asked what else, he didn't know. Whaaaat? He doesn't know what the dogs breed is completely and he is breeding the dog? At one place young Amish children were grabbing all the puppies tossing them around and being rough. It seemed like a natural ongoing thing, the parents did not correct the children for being rough. Needless to say the places were dirty enough to make me post this review which isn't something I do often. We ended up going with a dog breeder that we found on puppyfind.com a small breeder with about 20 dogs in the Scranton Pennsylvania area, they were NOT Amish. Their puppies were clean and the area was very clean and the parents area was very clean and organized. What can I say dirty is dirty and clean is clean. We did alert lancasterpuppies.com about both situations and we see 60 days later both of those breeders are still on their site. We took pics of the supposed ShihTzu mother and one of the puppies.
