I've already ordered some few things with them, and everything came just perfect!
The two albums that I bought on pre-order were shipped two or three days after the release date, and when they shipped, they have sent me an email with the track number. After three or four weeks, my order have arrived, and since I live in Brazil, it was faster than I thought it would be.
With one of the albums, I've ordered a mini lightsitck, and it came with the album, in perfect conditions as well.
Then, I bought some pins, and some days after it was not shipped yet, so I emailed them asking if there was any problem with my order and they answered me like one day after, saying that there was some intern problem, and in some days my order would be shipped. Then, two days after this email, my pins were shipped and arrived in perfect conditions as well.
The package is very well made: full of bubble wrap and air cushions. The posters came in a tube IN THE SAME box as the album.
So, in conclusion, my experiences with Kpop Town were excellent and I will buy some kpop things with them for sure! And again, sorry for my bad English.

Every single album or piece of merch I have ordered has come in at a reasonable time (I pay extra for tracked shipping so I can watch my package and know when it comes in) and has been in fantastic condition. I have purchased several items that were "pre-order" and I have never had any issues. I have two great examples for you:
1) I pre-ordered Seventeen's You Make My Day album as soon as pre-order was available on the site back in early July. The site said the album will be released on July 16th and when July 16th rolled around my album shipped the same day. I was very impressed and really happy!
And to those wondering about the Customer Service! >>>
2) Here in October last month, the site released Seventeen's Ideal Cut The Final Scene merchandise for pre-order. It all sold out in a whopping two days but I had managed to pre-order some. The site said it would be released on October 30th, but by November 7th my merch still had not shipped. I contacted them about my order and they got back with me 3 hours later. They told me that the merchandise was released in Korea later than expected, they told me when it would reach their warehouse, and they told me my merchandise would be shipped no later than that Monday. They also apologized to me three times throughout the message. They ended up being correct and my package did ship that Monday.
There IS customer service for Kpoptown and they have been great from my experiences. Kpoptown has a fantastic variety of items for Kpop fans or even fans of Korea. I have gotten quite a few things from Kpoptown that I wasn't able to get anywhere else! I will continue to buy stuff from them, they are my absolute favorites!

Ordered GOT7's new lightstick, the second version, in July. Got no updates on my lightstick until i emailed, and sometimes, i never got an emal back. It's October, and my baby is finally home. Shes official, working, and connects to the app like a breeze. Love it!
Kpoptown is my first kpop shop, I have never had any complains in their service.
One time there was a delay in the production of a certain lightstick, I already ordered to them. They immediately emailed me that there was a delay and if id like to wait or get a refund.
I waited for the arrival of the lightstick. I email them once a month for an update and I always receive replies from them.
Out of the blue. My package was already on its way to me. ( i thought it was another package i was anticipating) SURPRISE! After 3 months. I got my package safe
Ive been ordering kpop albums from them and nothing had gone wrong. It arrived earlier and there were no damages.
The packages were always wrapped in bubble wraps.
Why I'm giving them this review? Because I was so happy with their service so far!
Basically I have purchased 3 version of TWICE Japanese album with EMS Carrier which only take 3-5 working days. And it's been a week plus I still haven't receive my item yet. So I email to their customer service about 5 times, guess what, they never reply me at all. And now I'm opening a case at Paypal hopefully I can get a refund.
I was a bit skeptical at first because of many mixed reviews but in 5 days of my parcel being shipped out I finally received it today (I live in Australia fyi)! I honestly couldn't be happier - everything was packed so well (i thought the poster tube would be shipped out separately but it all came together in one big box!) They took extra care as evident in the excessive bubble wrapping and air tight packets to protect the albums haha. There were no mix-ups or missing items; everything i paid for and was expecting came. Didn't have to pay for GST either
A big plus is that i got photocards of my bias - JIMIN! 4 times :) will be definitely ordering more from Kpoptown in the future! Thanks guys!
I ordered six lightstick. Twice was late for some weeks. Blackpink lightstick was not in the package but they claim it was in the box and asked if i have checked carefully. But come on! I open the box and took out everything and it wasnt in it.
Than two lightsticks was totally damage even thought the main box wasnt damaged. So it felt like those two lightsticks was already damaged when they packed them
A couple of months back in November, I preordered a BTS album and was very excited to receive my parcel, but I never received it. They replied to me saying, "Sometimes shipping can be delayed. It would take up to 8 weeks by register small packet or small packet service. At the end of this month will be 8 weeks after shipping, so please kindly wait a bit more. It is still normal. If it does not arrive till then, please let us know so we can discuss further."
Yet, at the end of November, they told me that my poster was returned to them. They "charge[d] [for the] shipping cost and there is no refund for poster tube returned." Well, why am I no longer able to claim my poster? And why was I charged without my permission in advance?
As for the album itself? It was lost in transit. They told me to pay for a reshipment.
Why should I pay for a reshipment when I was not responsible for the loss of my package. That was absurd. They promised me a voucher, but with this quality of customer service, how can I even trust their word?
Never buy from KpopTown unless you want to let money slip through your fingers. I wished I read the reviews sooner.
I honestly don't get the hate on this site. I already bought some albums on this site before and it never went wrong, the shipping did take a bit long since I'm from Europe.
It's my first time that I made an order from kpoptown and i'm very pleased with them! IMy order came really fast and well packaged! Execpt that I had an excellent experience with the customer service! For sure i'm gonna buy from them again!
I own more than twenty albums, all of them are from kpoptown and i never ever had any problem. It's true that it takes "a long time" to be shipped to your house but you have to keep in mind that it comes from Korea so you won't have it the next morning (and that's something that people who are used to buy on asian websites are used.). I never had any custom fees and the albums are always packaged in several layers of bubble wrap. They also have most albums including ones from underrated groups and they count in both Hanteo and Gaon unlike kpop stores from my country so what can we ask more?
The only negative point is that shipping fees can be expensive, it depends on the weight of your order. But it's still cheaper than local stores from my country sooo... And lightsticks are not fake, unlike most you can find on Ebay. I can't say for posters because I never buy them.

Ordered an EXO album last year. Never got it and when I contacted them they just sent me a copy of the paypal receipt saying that the money is already received so they can't do anything. Don't bother ordering from this site, find a legit website like Synnara or something.
I used kpoptown to buy merch for about 2 and a half years maybe and never had a problem with them until last October when I ordered The Wings Tour Program Book. When I opened the book and was looking through it 20 pages fell right out of the book, so I sent them an email and provided them with pictures and everything. They replied a week later and offered me 3 USD, so I sent back an email saying I didn't feel that was enough when I spent almost $24 on the product itself. They replied about a week later saying that was all they would offer, so I sent another email asking them why they couldn't offer me more than 3 USD and they ignored me... I just went to PayPal after 2 and a half months and made a claim. They never paid me back, but PayPal gave me $20 in PayPal credit to settle the claim, so I still got money back. A little while later I ordered some cosmetic products from the store and had them shipped to my address, but they were shipped to my friend's address in a different state because I had sent her an album as a Christmas gift before making this purchase. Their system doesn't work well and they don't really seem to care to fix it, since there are multiple people on their tumblr who were experiencing this problem and asking them to fix it yet they have still done nothing about. I thought that this incident was just my mistake and made a note to keep in mind to select the correct addresses the next time I ordered from there. However the last order I made from there was Seventeen's new album and I made sure that I had selected my address at checkout... They ended up sending it to my aunt's address which I used for the order I made before... It arrived at her house in a little over a week after it shipped out, but I have no idea when it will actually come to me... I just deleted all the other address that I had on the account there because when you checkout it doesn't matter which address you select. It will always ship it to the last address you added to tour account.
I've ordered from them before because for me who lives in Canada they don't take that long to come in. The problems I have with them is that they take a week or even more to ship, I've had other sites that ship the next day. The other problem is the exchange rate with PayPal is a lot with this site compare to other.
I bought from this site several times and i never had any problems with them before. But recently, i preorder the album of Jonghyun, the 22th January. And after 7 days, the album is still not send. (The album was release the 24 th January).
Then, what's the point of pre-ordering the album? A pre-order, "normally", the seller is under the obligation to send the object on the day the item is officially release. That is not the case. And the customer service is HORRIBLE. If you have any problem with them, they just don't care lmao. They didn't reply.
I placed my first order with Kpoptown during the summer and was wary as I'd never shopped with them before and just the general idea of ordering from somewhere outside the UK. I was pleasantly surprised when my CD shipped the morning of release and within 10 days had made its way from Daegu to Northern Ireland. Since then Kpoptown has been my go to for cd/dvd orders and I haven't been let down so far. I haven't had to get in touch with their customer service yet so can't comment on how they communicate, however I always picked the tracked shipping option and they are prompt to let me know when the order has dispatched and my tracking number.
KPOPTOWN are an absolute joke of a company. Poor customer service doesnt even begin to describe just how terrible they are.
On the 30th October 2017, I pre-ordered Super Juniors Play for a group order. The order was large so it automatically was designated EMS shipping which, on their website, says takes around 3 to 5 days. Pretty normal for any EMS coming to the UK from South Korea, so I accepted the terms.
The album was released on 6th November and was to be sent out within 2-3 days however this was not the case. I messaged KPOPTOWN 3 days after the album had been released asking for a status update as the website had just shown the payment accepted status as it did when I first ordered. No reply. I put this down to perhaps lots of orders and chose to wait it out for a little while longer.
7 days later, my albums had still not been shipped nor had they replied to my email so I emailed them again and was ignored again. At this point I was getting pretty tetchy so I messaged again. And again. And again. Overall, I sent them 5 messaged before finally I threatened to open a case against them in Paypal and cancel my order. Of course, they replied to that email and apologised for the delay. This was 10 days after the albums initial release. There was no explanation for the delay, just an apology.
The albums were then shipped two days later, a whole 12 days after the release. For someone who PAID for EMS shipping, this is just simply not good enough. The shipping charge was well over £100 and for any other company, the albums would have been with me that same week.
Save yourself a headache and DO NOT order from kpoptown. I wish I had just paid the extra and went with yesasia to save hassle.
They sent my preordered express delivery (3-7 days) to the wrong address and I contacted them multiple times and it takes over a week for them to reply to one email. I have to wait for them every week to answer my questions and I requested a refund but they still haven't replied. It has been about a month give or take. I would order from them if it was an old item but not any recent items.
I preordered bts' album Her to England. The predicted shipping was 2-4 weeks and it arrived within 15 days in perfect conditions - what more could I ask for. This site had the best reviews I could find as well as being the cheapest for me, and I would 100% use again
