I have had many purchases with Joss and main, wayfair and Birch lane. My last order was for a large mirror that has been shipped to me now
7 (yes SEVEN) times! Short story is it is a 41" long mirror packaged very poorly with NO markings on The box about it being "fragile" or "breakable"!
I have spent countless hours on the phone, and several emails. I now have 5 large boxes of glitter size mirror in My garage that I am left to have to haul to the dumps.
Why would any company just keep shipping mirrors out In a fashion that ends up in a million pieces EVERY TIME. I have said they need to actually call their suppler, as NO ONE IS READING THE extra PACKAGING NOTES!

I ordered a bookcase on this site that was supposed to be medium brown colored -- instead it's a very light and ugly brown. And, although it says it's a three shelf bookcase, the three shelves only allow for small books or paperbacks -- if you have hardcover books, it's really only a two shelf bookcase. Oh, and the directions to put it together are almost impossible to understand. The worst purchase I've ever made online.
I placed an order on Nov 18th, 2020 and was supposed to be delivered in mid February, then Mid March and now mid April, I called and they put me on hold while they inquired with their Texas warehouse on the where about of the sofa, but even that simple response could take up to 3 working days, this is beyond frustrating, I canceled the order, it's just not worth my energy, it was my first and last order with them.
If I could give them a zero I would. I had ordered a cabinet for my hallway, and after a few days I saw another on their site that I preferred. Looking at my order, the cabinet was not supposed to arrive until late March, so I canceled over a month in advance, with the intent to purchase another unit at a higher price. When I cancelled it said they needed to review my cancellation, and the next day I got an email that said I couldn't cancel because the unit had already shipped. While I found that rather suspect, I wrote back and explained I was cancelling in order to purchase something else, could they stop the shipment. Well they stopped the shipment and charged me a $132 return fee! They did not inform me that would happen, had I known I would have taken the shipment, sold the unit or used it somewhere else in the house and still bought the other unit. I called and explained this to customer service and then to a supervisor- and no way they would give me back the $132. I asked if $132 was really worth them losing a customer for life and apparently it is... I am used to the Nordstrom type of customer service, not the milk them for everything we can kind of customer service. I will never do business with them or their affiliates again.

Ceiling Fan cannot be operated. The receiver for the remote does not fit in the base of the fan.
Tried everything it is a non-operative design. The dresser drawers have been installed on metal slides

The worst thing is that customer service could care less and is non-functional.
They have the shipping receipt that proves it was delivered and your credit card company has nothing else to go by since they no you can't ship it back.

I ordered six chairs from Joss and Main on September 5th and the chairs were in stock and the order was due to arrive in 10 days. We were so pleased to be upgrading our dinning room with a new set of chairs. After the delivery date came and went, I contacted Joss & Main who told me that the item was out of stock and was delayed. I can't remember the spin their representative gave from their set of scripts.
This went on until just this week. First, they never contacted me to inform me of yet another delay. I always had to call and ask, what's going on with me order. Where upon I was told, every time, I different reason for the delay. Sometimes they were quite imaginative and full of reinforcing details.
I called and asked to cancel the order and requested a discount for their extremely poor customer service. They were never honest with me and stuck to a variety of scripts meant to deescalate customer anger rather than be honest. They told me that 10% was the best they could do. I asked for some specific chairs that their website said as $111 a chair and was in stock. Their customer service person, the first one to be straight with me, told me that she'd talk to her manager and see if they could get additional discounts for me. The next morning she told me sorry they couldn't do better than 10%. I looked at the chairs I'd told her and the price, over night, shot to $145 a chair and the color I'd told them that I wanted was suddenly, out of stock. WOW! The worst online shopping experience that I've ever had!
Was expecting my desk to arrive on a Tuesday. When it did it arrive, I checked the status of the order and I saw that it was cancelled. No warning or communication. I understand that orders cannot always be fulfilled but communication to your customers is key!
I ordered furniture from Joss & Main because of previous good experience with Wayfair. I ordered on 24th September. The next day, 25th of September, I canceled the order. Their website clearly states that order can be canceled anytime before it is shipped. I got a notification on 28th September that my order cannot be canceled. I spoke with India Potter at the company. She said that although the website says order can be canceled before shipment, they do not follow it. They shipped it on September 28th despite a legitimate cancelation. I will be disputing the credit card charge and have instructed Fedex not to deliver the package to my house. It is strange that they are so desperate for business and follow shady practices. Please beware before placing any order with them.

I received a confirmation of my order and an expected delivery date which was 10 days after. 6 weeks after the order was placed, I contacted their customer service via email. I was assured that the order was still processing and was offered a discount code for future orders. Two more weeks went by. I contacted customer service again — apologies, yadayada, someone from customer care will contact you. Three more days went by, so I called customer service — they are mystified, but putting through an expedited delivery. Two hours go by, then I get an email that the order is cancelled, because the item was suddenly discontinued! If they had filled the order when I put it in, it wouldn't be discontinued. Meanwhile, summer is coming to an end and I never got my outdoor cushions. I am warning you DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I recently ordered from joss and main. What a hassle but I found out they are owned by way fair that explains it. They are not going to last if they don't treat customers better. I tried to get a discount added to my order but customer service said they couldn't do it. They said I would have to cancel my order start over and add the discount which was a holiday discount so customer service said it should be available after the holiday a few days, wrong. I cancelled the order it took Them till after the holiday to make the cancellation. Guess what the discount was not available. They got what they wanted. Stalled till the discount was gone.
I purchased a woven rug that came with big holes in it. They refused to give me a refund or allow an exchange.
At the end of May I order the bedroom so true way here. It took about a month before I get my merchandise. When I receive my bedroom said it look like it was made from a secondhand store The quality is not good. The drawers were messed up, it almost looks like it was a return and then sent to me. I did however call Wayfair I did get a replacement for the nightstand, but I did not want the double dresser one it took too long and I just canceled it. But for the amount of money you guys charge for these products the material you use is terrible. I will never order from you guys again.

I was told when I ordered my bathroom vanity that it would be delivered between August 3 and sixth. After checking on it's status Joss and Main sent me an email stating that it would be scheduled for delivery sometime after August 19. This means I have to have my contractor return toward the end of the month for extra money to install fixtures etc just because they couldn't deliver on time. Something tells me it's going to be even later than that the way things are going. Tired of places thinking they can pull this off just because of the Covid thing which really shouldn't I'll be an excuse for miscalculating delivery dates. Not happy!
Doing a bathroom remodel and our contractor ordered what I wanted from this sight, because it said delivery would be by July 30th, 2020, it is now August 4th and we still have nothing and all we are told is that they will notify when it ships! Don't trust anything they promise! First time buyer and most likely last!

Joss & Main ( Own by Wayfair)(Which I never done business with either) Took 1/3 of the cost on a return on a item I never even saw. The item was returned back by them before I ever saw the item. The delivery was so bad that I had to cancel all the order. This was the first time I ever done business with them and will be the lasted. They last an order that was around $1400. 00.
Place the order with someone else and had no issues. Plus they other company was a lot cheaper.

I purchased the Milan bed and it arrived with scuff marks on the linen. After several attempts to contact customer service, I didn't receive a response or resolution. They also did not post my review of the bed. I would avoid Joss & Main and will never purchase from them again. All of their merchandise is sold on other sites - just pick a different site.
We purchased a bed in June and received it July 3. On July 23 my account was charged by Joss and Main 2 times. When I called them I was told that for some reason they voided the first amount they took from my account and were NOW 1 month later going to take 2 transactions out! Worst experience I have ever had in my life! All they would do is give me 10% back, ridiculous!
Answer: Everything that I have ordered so far has been excellent. One time, the item just didn't quite look great in my bedroom. I returned it no questions asked for a full credit. Nether even paid the postage. I could have returned it for a full refund but I would had to pay the postage. In any event, very flexible on returns, which, as I say, has only happened once.
