Received the wrong chlorinator control board and had the worst time trying to return for a refund. Months later and multiple shipping payments and I am out both shipping and the original product cost. Almost $400 for a paperweight that they will not honor when they know they sent the wrong board. I had to go to Hayward for technical assistance because INYO would not answer. If you order from them just hope it is the right part because they will find any way to not refund your money even if it is an incorrect part. Look at the number of 1 star reviews that have had the same experience.
I own a property in a different state from where I live and placed an order from Inyo Pools for a sand filter. I buy many products for this property through various websites and always pay with my Discover credit card. This particular company sent me an email that said their fraud department had flagged my order and that I needed to send a copy of my driver license. The email explained that this was no different than being required to show one's driver license at a place of sale if requested. I scanned and sent a copy of my driver license per the instructions and received a response that my driver license wasn't accepted and that I needed to pay with PayPal or send a check. I called customer service to try to resolve the issue over the phone and the representative spoke to me in a very condescending manner by saying things such as "We can choose who we do business with" and "We get these types of complaints every day and have been in business since 2001". I can understand that their fraud department flagged the order but they should have been able to resolve the issue when I called. They could have verified my Discover card by calling Discover. After my experience, I researched the company and found many complaints from consumers on the Better Business Website and other review sites, some of which were exactly like my concern. The company should not ask for a driver license if it won't be accepted, and they should have a facility in place to handle credit card orders that are erroneously flagged when a customer calls to try to resolve the issue. I wasted my time trying to resolve the issue by sending multiple emails and calling customer service and the company clearly doesn't value their customer's time. I bought the sand filter from another supplier and would absolutely never do business with this company. Their business ethics are the absolute worst that I have ever experienced.
I ordered products from this company because I could not find it at local stores. Big mistake. It was my fault for not looking at their ridiculous return policy but with that said I followed their instructions to get an RMA form it took several days for them to reply still not giving me this form they require for you to return their items. They kept using stall tactics to not send me the form asking for pics of item etc. Needless to say I lost out &140.00 and still had to find right item somewhere else. Do Not buy from this company & if you do just know you will not be able to return it or get any money back. Do NOT recommend!
Website page had all details of the pool heater including mfg part number. Site was easy to use. Great communication and tips for truck delivery. Had the unit within a week…. That's fast shipping by carrier. I actually saw after the sale that they were giving a free pool float when you purchase a certain amount. Sent an email the day after my sale…. They emailed back and sent one back. Thanks
I wasted over an hour of my life looking for support from a defective product. Terrible customer support and lousy products. There is no way to hold the shaft of their motor with a wrench so you can't tighten the impeller in place

I had trouble locating the correct cord for my Nautilus pool robot. INYO Pools made it very simple. Delivery was much quicker than I expected. I would definitely use this company again.
Coincidentally, I was arriving home from work as the delivery truck pulled up. Driver set the vacuum inside my garage for me. Delivery from order date to actual delivery was very, very quick, after all the problems of deliveries from every source during Covid times.
Using them for all my pool needs for a couple of years. This is the first time had to return a half grid of a DE filter. They do not provide a return label. Tried to return it on my own but the return was more expensive than the item. They were of zero help but preferred to lose a client than to help out. Feel sorry for the company
Bought a salt cell installed it. Immediately noticed leak from middle of cell. Contacted them multiple times keep getting run around "working on it" been 19 days no resolution. Have been told someone will contact within 24/48 hours two different occasions with no response. Said waiting on Hayward asked for case number couldn't provide one. When using phone to call was told we were trying to bypass warranty. We bought from them would expect a refund or replacement from the retailer told it's a warranty issue. I could see this if it was installed then went bad however it was bad from the start. Sent pictures showing leak. Never purchase from this company unless you prefer to be strung along and waste your time and money. However they will make sure you get discount emails every other day.
They Won't give you a refund unless the reason that you're returning the item is their fault for whatever reason.
Please remember when ordering from them that you won't need to return it..
I ordered a volt vacuum with a 4 piece pole. I received a small spa broom. When I attempted to get a return slip, I was denied. $91 wasted. I have a pool, not a small little spa. This was my first and last time ever doing business with them.
I ordered off of Amazons, which INYOPools was the company listed. Got the product which was the wrong part. Sent it back and went directly to INYOPools to purchase a new one. They made me send my ID to them saying they needed to check it to my Business Credit Card. Which I did and they canceled my order?
The only way to contact them is through a Chat. My first Chat was about my ID because my CC was under the business name and address where the product was being shipped to. But my ID has a different address. The person on other side said that they could help me with that and I just needed to see.
The following week I got an email canceling my order because my ID didn't match. I went into another chat and try to find out why and explain I had just sent them back over $300 worth of merchandise that they received back the pervious week that I had gotten through Amazon. Was told that INYOPools has no affiliation with Amazon. I said you sell products through Amazon. Again they said No, we have no affiliation through Amazon.
I just wanted to have them see that I who I am and my credit card was good.
Then I just got an email about my order if I have received my order by clicking on the link below.
If I haven't, wait a 24-48 hours or disregard if I canceled this order. Well I didn't cancel it they did. My charge card was charged but it was also credited for the charge. Still waiting to see my credit on the products I sent directly back to them that I purchase from Amazon who they have no "AFFILIATION" with.

Ordered a replacement motor and all seemed to be going well. The next morning I received an email stating they needed me to send a copy of my ID to prevent scams. This seemed very much like a scam to me. Why would I provide my CC info AND a copy of my ID online?!?! I was able to cancel my order.
Item was received on time and is exactly what I needed. I'm glad to see that have improved the design of this item.
Pump and filter parts shipped promptly and online instructions allowed for a fast and easy repair. Will definitely use INYOPools for all my pool needs.
