When trying to return, customer service was completely rude. I bought an XS womens police outfit and a Standard Mens Cop outfit, the mens outfit I needed to exchange for a bigger size. I emailed them about possibly exchanging the costume and how to go about that. They responded a few days later and then told me that I had to go through the entire process all over again, I would receive my refund sometime next month due to Halloween business and that next time I should order my correct size knowing that I shouldn't have ordered an XS because I needed an XL. They completely assumed which costume I was returning and that HEFTY girls should order the right size!
I then stated I was very offended and wanted to talk to higher management and got no response.
Returning the item, praying we get our money back and then going elsewhere!

I bought a captain america costume from this site approximately 1 months ago. It did't arrive me and when I asked them where my item is, they said 'we don't know. Ask your local post office'. But none of the USPS or our local post office know it.
I ordered a football girl costume and messed up the address. They said it was at the post office but when I went they said they sent it back. I called the company and they said It would be 14 dollars to ship it again. I said alright and they hung up so.

They sell crap, mostly that doesn't look anything like the pictures. Some of it might seem like a good deal until it arrives and you realize 1. It looks nothing like what you thought you were getting and 2. The return policy means you'll be spending more money just to see if they'll accept the return. We bought 5 items from them this Halloween, one was an adult wig that wouldn't even fit on my wife's head. We ended up using it for our 18 month old daughter because it kinda fit her. We also bought a fan that looked like it was printed on a home printer from 1995. We ended up throwing that away. Overall 2 out of 5 items were slightly usable but I later realized if I had shopped in town I would have saved $30. I tried to submit reviews on their site and my tame and honest reviews of the products were conveniently not accepted. This company is a scam, they sell terrible junk that you'll be surprised you purchased when it arrives at your home. Find somewhere else to shop and save yourself a headache.
I orderd a lil red riding hood costume in a 3x-4x and paid for shipping. (which other sites offer free shipping after a certain dollar amount) When i receive the item it looked more like an xl. My error was not looking at the measurements however there was no way in hell that was a true 3x-4x size. I called the company and they didnt offer an exchange, actually i had to pay for shipping back. I told them i would never ordered from them. I also typed a review for the item and they never okay it. I wonder why. DONT SHOP ON THIS WACK WEBSITE!

Shipping took forever, which I was fine with since I ordered far enough in advance for them to get here on time. BOTH of the kids costumes I ordered looked used and re-packaged. The Batman costume came with a mask, which was stained. The Harley Quinn costume came with a headband that looked like it had been broken and someone haphazardly hot-glued it back together. I'm extremely not impressed. I thought I was purchasing brand new ones, when I could have ordered used ones from Ebay, saved some money, and gotten disclosures about stains or broken headbands.

I bought a mask to go with my husbands batman t-shirt. I ended up getting a mask with the t-shirt, which I didn't know came with it. So I went to file a return with Halloweencostumes.com and they wanted to charge me 6.99 to file a return and would only refund the cost of the mask? I would have lost even more money doing all that... what a joke.
I bought an Oktoberfest hat from these folks. Don't do what I did. It looks great in the pic but it will show up in a box way to small and will come out looking like crumbled paper. Customer service will require you to buy another one in order to get a replacement, one that will show up just as crappy as the first. I was told they come "prepackaged", so they don't even check the product before they send it out to customers.
Received our order fine, but found that their sizing chart was way off and so we went to the website and returned our costumes and paid for return shipping. We are then informed that items purchased in October are not available for refund. What a crock. We basically burned 100 bucks and still had to scramble for costumes on the day of halloween. Will never order from these guys again.
STAY AWAY! They are rude and unhelpful they currently have 78 dollars of mine. I couldnt return which i understand but then they double charge me and then had the gall to charge me the shipping back fee!. Plus the coustumes run extreamly small. I will never ever order from them again.
Ordered a costume and even though it arrived on time, the quality was extremely poor. The seams were torn even before the costume was put on. I took pictures and offered to send it to them and the never addressed it. All their customer reviews on their site is all positive - i call bs - im sure they stream through all the bad ones and only publish the good reviews. Stay away from this place.
I purchased two costumes on the same order, both the same size, on 10/20/11 and received them on 10/25/11. One of the costumes fit perfectly but the other was very small in the bust-line. I contacted customer service 10/26/11 and was told by Tabitha that since I purchased the costumes between 10/10 and 11/1, I could not return for a refund, only an exchange. I explained that I bought two from them and I'm keeping the one that fits (so essentially, I already have the replacement costume from their company) but she stated that it didn't matter, no refund. I then chatted with the manager Tyler and received the same response. The costumes, for the value, were fine and I liked them but I bought two (just in case) because I had heard that sometimes sizing runs small and I was keeping one. The ridiculous notion that they refuse to refund because it's their "busiest time of the year" is a pathetic excuse. Up until this "no refund" issue came up, I was very happy with the product and service... what a shameful way to ruin a customer relationship.
Ordered a costume... took 8 days to arrive... then learned that return policy is 15 days after receipt of order... that's right after receipt of order... so more than half of the return period was already gone... contacted customer service (tier 1 and tier 2) and they refused to waive policy based on being 1 day out of return period... exchange only... thought this was unreasonable... confirmed this as unreasonable after i needed to return a different costume to a different company with no issue whatsever... had to contact american express to resolve my issue with halloweencostumes.com...
