I wish I could give a big, fat zero! I will never use this website again! They sent us wrong size costume TWICE! My 5 years old grandson end up with no costume on the Halloween night.
I ordered a costume and it was supposed to come by Wednesday. It is now Monday the following week and the costume still has not arrived. I needed it by Saturday night, which is why I ordered with this company (as they claimed it would arrive by Wednesday). When the order was paid for, the date changed to Friday, which would have still been okay, if it had arrived by then. I also chose the express delivery fee (which has now turned out to be a standard delivery anyhow). Had to improvise a costume instead. The company also has a. com.au but my costume was shipped from the US. If I had known this was the case, I would have purchased from a company within Australia as I would have known it would not arrive in a week. This also meant that I was charged a currency conversion fee, even though the currency was in AU dollars and there was no mention of it prior to purchase. Not very happy and will probably look elsewhere for costumes in the future.
My costume did not arrive on time despite paying for expedited service. They informed me it would come three days late they gave me a crazy excuse and I was left to scramble for a costume last minute.

So, I ordered my daughters duck costume from this site and I was super excited because its what she asked to be and every other site and store in my city was sold out, this was the only site that had it in stock. Than I read the reviews and seen bow terrible they where so I was worried. I kept emailing them to make sure it was going to be shipped and they answered me right away and assured me it was coming. My package didn't end up coming on the date it said it was it was only a day late but the lady from halloweencostumes.com gave me a refund on my shipping which was amazing because I didn't even ask for one and when my costume did come the next day it was AMAZING quality super soft and I'm SO happy! I think this site is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. Some of these comments are rediculous and I don't think there is anything wrong with this site or th quality. The size and everything is on point amazing and I WILL be shopping here again.
Paid nearly $200 for daenerys costume. Dress was cheaply made from two different colored fabrics. Dress was not accurately represented in pictures and customer service refused to waive 18% restocking fee. Not cool.
Not a good experience! I checked the size chart twice before ordering and still got a dress ten sizes too big! And poor quality. When I went to return, I was hit with a $6.99 shipping fee and an 18% restocking fee. Costly lesson that this is NOT a store I would ever shop at again! Oh, and they review all customer comments before allowing on their site (so no bad reviews will show)!

I order goddess heels for my costume, cost about 40$ and what do you know they send 1 gold sandal. The wrong shoes and size and only sent ONE are you $#*!ing serious. I want my money back. When I received my costume from HalloweenCostumes (Mens Deluxe Uncle Sam Costume) it was rather wrinkled and did not sit nicely when I tried it on. The lapels on the suit jacket weren't straight and the neck was out of shape as well so I wanted to iron out the wrinkles and make the costume look nice and straight.
I checked the tag for any ironing instructions but there were none to be found. As soon as I touched the jacket with the iron it burnt a hole right through it leaving the costume unwearable at my 4th of July party.
I contacted support and their response was "we can't accept something back that has been altered in any way, as it cannot be returned to the manufacturer for credit" and offered me a 50% refund. Instead of backing their customers in and giving a full refund on their faulty product they only offer a 50% because they cannot return it for credit. That's really not the approach that will win repeat business from anybody. Definitely won't be earning any more business from myself and if this post helps people it's well worth it.
Real shame HalloweenCostumes. Make your customers suffer because something you've sold is not of satisfactory quality.
UPDATE: Due to this review I was contacted by halloweencostumes and they quickly made it right. I was pleasantly surprised.

This is by far the worse service I've received. Ordered the costume on the 15th. After seeing that my account had been charged on the 20th but received no shipping confirmation as of the 24th we began calling for an update. Spent nearly 2 1/2 hours being bounced around an automated system with no update. Just now received a shipping confirmation that it was shipped today for delivery on the 31st. Now I will have to buy another costume elsewhere as this order was not shipped when it should have been and will not be here in time for the school party for my child. Absolutely worse site I've ever dealt with.
What kind of company allows you to purchase an item I ly to tell you days before you need it sorry we are out of stock! That is what happened to me and with out much else in the email except "sorry for the inconvenience" I was out a Halloween costume. Do yourself a favor don't be stressed out by this company and purchase your costume elsewhere.
Horrible customer service. Charged me high price for Priority Shipping and then shipped slowest ground shipping method. Tried to contact them to resolve it, they would not budge. Horrible is also small word for their customer support.

I called to inquire about my return that was sent back (via FedEx) a couple weeks ago and the customer service reps that I spoke to were so rude! No date of expecting my return, no consideration for my transaction, nothing! I'm not even confident that I'll be receiving my full return. I just want my money back and to NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!
IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN 0 STARS I WOULD HAVE! I ordered a costume for my son and was sent a CONFIRMATION email stating we would have his costume delivered to our house by October 24,2014. When the costume did not come i called them promptly to find out why, i was told the order for his costume was CANCELED because they "over sold" said costume and that i was sent an email stating such, I NEVER got any email other than the one saying my son would have his costume by the 24th! Now i have to scramble to get him a costume by Halloween! No apologies were offered only blame stating i should check my email! I was scouring my email while on the phone with then for well over 30 minutes and i only had 2 from them. 1 sayings thanks for the order and 2 saying it will be delivered on the 24th. I mean why would i be on the phone upset if i would have gotten and email that they have pour management skills and over sell all products then cancel orders without telling the customer then blaming them for their bad business! Do yourselves a favor and take your money, time amd business elsewhere
I may update this if the company responds to my requests, but as of right now this company is awful. They sent me stained and crushed merchandise non of which fit. Then when I go to return it they tell me that since I paid through paypal they wont give me shipping labels and I will have to pay 32.00 to ship it back!? There is absolutely no DISCLOSURE ANYWHERE ON THE SITE THAT SAYS THIS! I will not be using them in the future! EVER!
