My flight had few hours delay and arrived in Tirana very late. I received a great service despite being late.

The tank was not full, so we had to look for the gas station at night, which we did not find, and we were lucky that we still managed to reach the hotel in Füssen - 150 km. From Munich. Тhe insurance cost was the highest i have paid in just 2 days

The 1st car Nisssan was dead the next day - apparently lack of proper maintainance. It took some effort to convince the staff that was their fault. Finally we got a decent car Kia but it had the wipers well used. Too much stress for hollidays. We selected this company based on excellent reviews and were initially very disapointed. Finally they made things right but not without a fuss

Check-in process take too long compared to other Rental companies. Insurance coverage $40 PER DAY! Is unreasonable; company does not honor prepaid discount insurance (avg: $10-12/day) from Exoedia, Hotwire Priceline or other brokers. Nice staff but frustratingly SLOW process - you are better off either Thrifty or Economy car rental if you in a hurry or value your time.

We've used GreenMotion for quite some time now without issues but this time it wasn't a great start. The bus was an hour before picking us up due to issues. They didn't have an SUV which we ordered and when we got a pickup truck it wasn't ready for use. We complained (quite rightly) but they resolved the issue with an upgrade to a luxury SUV. Lots of apologies too. Would we use them again? Yes, of course! Issues happen but how they are resolved is what really counts.

Good price wile looking for a rental. Easy to deal with at the rental place. A hassle to force their insurance on you. A surprise surcharge for a toll even if a cash lane was used.
The car model I was given was the Dodge Charger. It's a great car, but not very comfortable for a woman to drive. The gas pedal and brake pedal (especially) are too high. Unless you're driving in high-heeled shoes, your feet wouldn't even touch the ground. It was quite uncomfortable. But the condition of the car was good. Another thing for visitors to bear in mind when choosing this company is that they only accept a few American insurances. And the price of insurance will be as high as the price you pay for a week's car rental.
Another thing to consider: a SanPass transponder on the car. I said NO when at the rental place they ask me if I need one. I took a cash lane to exit a paying freeway and still received a bill because my car's transponder remained active.

My experience with GreenMotion was highly frustrating. It has been 35 days since I returned the hire car, yet my deposit has still not been refunded. Additionally, during pick-up, I was forced to pay a daily insurance charge, even though I had already paid for this as part of my online booking. The staff claimed that the included insurance was not valid, which felt like a scam. This lack of transparency and the prolonged wait for my deposit have left me very dissatisfied. I would not recommend this company to others based on my experience.

This is the perfect scam. They quote you a very low rental price to hook you in, then they flood you with numerous added charges (insurance, booking fee, tolls, etc) and at the end you pay double of what you would have paid with Hertz, Avis, Enterprise or Dollar. In addition, in Miami, they claim to be "In the Terminal", but they are not. We refused to sign the contract because the terms were not consistent. What they do is they send you an e-mail a day later, with the fine print, which is not consistent with what you agreed to when you made the booking. STAY AWAY FOR THEM AT ALL COSTS!

The existing damage to the hire car was not accurate to the diagram displayed so I had to take numerous photos to prove how I had received the car.
No hand book to explain how the cruise control worked if at all.
On return the transfer to the airport didn't. Turn up so I was told to use a taxi or Uber and claim a refund.I almost lost my flight as the hire location is some way from the terminal.

Answer: DON'T do it. They advertise low and sting you at the counter! Clerks hard sell additional insurance (they get a commission). In Glasgow, Scotland this last August, they tried to get me to pay $800 in insurance to cover a ten day rental that was about $35 a day! Many people have posted about scams where they charged unsuspecting customers for "damages" that were already on the car but the customer may not notice, like a tiny chip in the windshield or a small scratch on the door edge.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at escalation@cs.greenmotion.com. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
