I booked a big car like Passat T-Modell. But the Station give me a smaler car category as booked. I requested some money, no answer until now.
I have used this company a number of times now and would highly recommend. Staff are friendly and helpful. The service provided is efficient and great value for money for the high spec vehicles provided every time.

The reception at the office was very good. Helpful and efficient. I upgraded to an automatic car and off I went. The following day when I got in the car I had a warning light for service and a message telling me that the car needed oil, as well as a light telling me that the tires needed attention. I contacted Green motion who told me not to worry as the car was due a service. It had only done 12,000 miles at this point, but ok. The lights continued to appear. I decided to check the oil which was in fact fine. The water however, was below minimum and needed topping up. The tires were also fine but the car computer needed to be updated. Obviously I had no idea how to do this and there were no manuals in the car.
Other than that, the car was fine.
I also paid a lot of money for the extra insurance so was a little put out when the gentleman came out to check the vehicle when I returned. This has not happened before!

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is off campus from the Oporto airport. However, Green Motion runs frequent van shuttles to the airport to pickup and drop off customers. Overall, the service is excellent, the staff is friendly and accommodating.

Picking up the car was a little slow as the guy in front of us was a very difficult customer for staff to deal with and so it was a long wait. Finally another staff member came inside and helped us. He was so helpful and friendly and Explained everything thoroughly. We were impressed that We were able to drop our car off at another office too. The drop off process really quick and easy.

I booked a Fiesta online from the UK. On collection, I was shown how to use the car, checked over any scratches beforehand with the assistant, and asked to bring the car back with half a tank of petrol. Car was in good condition, almost brand new - very pleased with it. Easy return too

Slightly disappointed to discover that Green Motion was not onsite at the airport, and you had to wait until a minibus arrived to take you to the pick up/drop off site which is several km away, that's after you made a phone call to them.
My drop off was on Sunday morning, and the office didn't open until 8:00 am, my scheduled flight was at 10:05 am, so if there had been a delay with drop off and the trip from the GM site to the terminal I would have been in trouble. As it was, I had to share the minibus with a family of 8 people, plus luggage. A squeeze to say the least.

The staff at green motion tirana were excellent. They assisted And accommodated us with a slight issue upon arrival and didn't get frustrated and tried to help us find solutions. In the end, we worked with him before a solution and they also were very friendly and helped us figure out a way to get the paperwork to take our car to Greece Corfu. They were very patient as our data wasn't working and we were receiving emails right away and it was very timely matter. I would highly recommend renting from them and they were very friendly. Answer: DON'T do it. They advertise low and sting you at the counter! Clerks hard sell additional insurance (they get a commission). In Glasgow, Scotland this last August, they tried to get me to pay $800 in insurance to cover a ten day rental that was about $35 a day! Many people have posted about scams where they charged unsuspecting customers for "damages" that were already on the car but the customer may not notice, like a tiny chip in the windshield or a small scratch on the door edge.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at escalation@cs.greenmotion.com. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
