Fast sell!

Glyde got me a good deal for my old phone and the process to get it to the buyer and allow my money to come through was super easy. I would recommend Glyde to anyone. I tried it not knowing much about the company but now I am highly satisfied and will definitially continue to sell my old electronics on their site.

Fast and Easy

I was able to quickly sell my unused iPhone and iPad. It was so easy. The packing was simply and everything was included. I was able to transfer the money directly to my checking account and use the money almost right away.

I sold my iPhone 6 on Glyde which seemed to go well until I received email after email saying that I hadn't taken the iPhone off of my iCloud which was true with the first email but after I REMOVED IT I continued to receive emails saying that the buyer was still unable to use iPhone because of the iCloud which I went back 3 times & checked & it was no longer attached to my iCloud. After the money finally posted I didn't reply back to anymore emails because it was not on my iCloud but they were still saying it was without believing me & only taking sellers word. Glyde actually suspended my account because of this nonsense & made sure that I WILL NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN!

Read the other 1 star reviews. I can confirm that they are all 100% true and accurate. I too made the mistake of ATTEMPTING to purchase a discounted ($306.05), 64 GB, Nexus 6P from this company on 12/27/2016. The money was taken from my account and held by Glyde on 12/27/2016. That was the ONLY expedient part of the buying process. They originally noted that I would receive the phone between 1/4 - 1/6. Three days later, that information was changed to "Seller to receiving shipping kit on 1/4". Guess that 5 - 10 days estimate was made by someone with dyscalculia. I emailed Glyde on 12/30/2016 as this was their only form of contact. If you would like to see the email I would be glad to provide it. On 01/03/2017 I received a response stating the following. "This order is still on schedule, but I will email the seller about your orders shipment status. If no response or tracking update is received by next week, we will unfortunately have to cancel this order. If that happens, you will not be charged." That is cut and pasted from the email. So, on 1/4 the status changed to "Seller received shipping kit". I'm thinking great, with priority shipping I can still get my phone by Monday. I must have been delusional and overly optimistic. The facts preceding this status change should have told me that was a not going to happen. Here we are on 1/6/2017, same status of "Seller received shipping kit". I emailed Glyde again on 1/5 so that they could contact the seller and find out the issue. No word back yet of course, I would expect that email to come some time next week. If you don't need the item you are purchasing within the next month and don't mind the high probability of not receiving your item at all, then Glyde might be for you. Otherwise, pay the few dollars more and buy from ANYWHERE else.

Unprofessional

I found out about this site online and thought it would be an efficient way to sell all of my old video games. I listed all of them on 12/18/16 and waited for them to be sold. Within the first couple of days, two games were sold and I was told I would receive a shipping kit by 12/24/16. It is now 1/1/17 and they still haven't sent me the shipping kit. Now they're emailing me saying that I have 48 hours to ship my item or I'll have to pay a late fee. I was pissed. How can I ship my item when they haven't even given me my shipping kit yet? I saw other reviews saying their shipping kit came a week late and Glyde changed them extra. That is absolutely unprofessional. The seller is doing nothing wrong. Why should we be charged extra for your lack of professionalism? I'm thinking to cancel my orders, so they don't charge me. Avoid this website.

Worst site ever!

Well... Listed a Moto X for sale. Didn't sell at first price. They sent me an email advising me to lower the price... went to site and could not access any way to find my phone and price!... I am not a neophyte. Spent 30 minutes trying every way under the sun. Finally got to my Account Page... "You Have No Items Listed"... Ha Ha Ha...
Hope those two Mooks from eBay Motors, who are the Founders, watch their stock options sink like their prospects to be a Unicorn. BWAAAhhaaaahaaa.

Stay away

This site was recommended to me. What a joke! Sellers and buyers beware, They continue to state you are cancelled because of fraud, I'm beginning to think they are a fraudulent company. If you give them all of the required extra credit card information be sure to watch your statements carefully. Sellers go to eBay or some other site, anything is better than the hassle you will get from these jokers.

It seems like an easy and pain free service up front, but they don't care about screwing over sellers. Ive stopped playing video games and didn't feel like making 100 trips to the usps so I listed them all on glyde.com. Every single sell I've made has had the shipping kit arrive over a week late. Glyde apparently doesn't track their shipping kits en route to the seller because I get multiple emails stating that my orders are late and that I need to ship them in 48 hours or my order will be canceled. Then if the shipping kit still doesn't arrive, my orders are canceled and I'm charged for the kit. Only a few have barely arrived in time for me to ship. Thankfully glyde tracks items sent from the seller. It is completely unacceptable and brings many swears to mind that glyde is this incompetent with getting kits to sellers. It's literally the only things glyde needs to physically do other than answer my irate emails.

Horrible

I order an S5 phone for my grandson on 11/3. The order went thru and it said I would be delivered by 11/8 to 11/10. Its now 11/15 and still no phone. The shipping number given to me has been saying no status. I have sent several emails and all I get is that the item shipped and allow 48 hrs for post office to note shipping. Now on 11/14 the status changed to Pre shipment info sent to USPS, USPS is awaiting package. I don't recommend using this company ever! Save yourself the grief of dealing with email responses and no live communication.

I've tried two purchases with Glyde.com, and neither one has worked.

For the first one, right after I ordered it, they asked me to verify my credit card information in an email. I did that, then heard nothing back for about 2 weeks, despite sending them 6-7 emails during that time. Then I simply got an email saying it was cancelled without telling me why.

For the second order, which was just a few days ago, I ordered a phone using a different credit card, and a few days later, they cancelled it saying they couldn't verify my information. Then they put my account on hold saying that I didn't pass their scam tests or whatever. They then emailed me back saying that my account wasn't on hold anymore so I could try to order it again, but that wasn't true, as my account is still on hold.

I just want to order a stupid phone from the site. I've tried 2 credit cards that have never given me fits before, but neither worked, and the customer service is slow and completely unhelpful. I'm done trying.
