I have use the Glyde service for years and have never experienced any problems. That is, up until till this most recent transaction--the beginning of March 2017. Everything with this transaction was flawless until it came time for settlement and payment. My funds were supposed to be released to me four days ago, however they have not yet been released.

I have sent two separate messages to customer service and I have yet to hear back from the Glyde team. I'm very disappointed in the service that I have received and I will never make the mistake of using Glyde again. I can only hope that I'll be able to get the money that is owed to me.

I Sold 2 phones through them. One the customer did not want, so they returned it which was fine but they did not send my charger back and they have yet to resolve the issue and it has been weeks. Many unanswered emails, and the ones they did respond to were vague such as "Let us check with our partner and we will get back to you". It is UNBELIEVABLE they would treat a client like this. The second phone I sold went smoothly and money was deposited in my account. Later (past they're so called 72 hour period) the money was retracted from my account. They're response was the buyer later said they had issues with the sound quality of the phone. Keep in mind this was after the sale was finalized. They simply replied "sometimes a buyer later decides they have issues with the phone". Blatant disregard of they're own policy. I finally received this phone back and the sound quality is fine, but there is a NEW crack in the screen! So I could only be lead to believe the buyer broke the screen and wanted to return it after the sale was finalized and they let this happen. They have yet to respond to emails, or resolve any of these issues. I have never dealt with a company that behaves this way. I will update this review with future happenings. BUYER/SELLER BEWARE!

An immaculate phone I sent to the buyer is being returned:

"Not as described"

Really? It went out in perfect like new condition. I expect it to come back the same way.

I hope this isn't bait and switch. Send a nice piece and get crap back.

Glyde made it easy to sell my old iPhone 4S. It had been sitting around for ages and I was happy to finally find a way to get it off my dusty bookshelf! The box that Glyde sent me to ship the phone in was great - very sturdy and made me feel comfortable to ship the phone in. Payment was available when they said it would be, and funds were easy to withdraw. I'd definitely recommend Glyde!

Easy my phone sold fast, took a little while to get the shipping Kit. I shipped my phone in the original Samsung box which fit neatly in the glide cardboard box
Would use them again!

Glyde allowed me to painlessly sell several tech items, but there are a couple of limitations. First, if the item is not in their database, you are out of luck. Secondly, between time for them to ship a box to you and for you to ship to the person and for the person to inspect the item, you have a long lag time for both seller and buyer, as opposed to something like Ebay.

Great model. Also love payment in bitcoin option.

However, in my very limited experience, 2 of 3 sales have experienced a long wait from sale to receipt of shipping packet.

Example: sale of game on 2/2517. As of and including today, 3/7/17, I have not received the shipping packet.

So then, at least 10 days to receive packet (tomorrow is day 10) + at least a day to ship out (allowed longer) + transit time to buyer (whatever it is) + buyer approval time (however long allowed) = whatever, depending on location.

The point is that in this example it will likely be over two weeks. That is longer turn around than a typical internet purchase, either directly from a vendor or via competing buy/sell forums.

Note my 2 of 3 sample size is too small of course, and for me this issue, if it is an issue, is irrelevant --I am strictly a low volume/low $ sampler so far.

Does it discourage higher volume, higher $ buyers/sellers?
I have no idea. I would guess yes, but who knows?

Would have gotten 5 stars but my problem is really with the sellers. I have had to have refunds (a lot) because the sellers dont ship the ites sold. I suggested that glyde charge shipping when sellers post items upfront. That way the seller is more or less forced to ship item when shipper arrives. If not, they are out the cost of shipping, not glyde. I feel if the seller had to put money up front they would be less likely to not ship. Ive been a buyer and seller with them. Its a great company when things go right.

Service was very good. They responded quickly to my initial submission and then came back within a few days to let me know that I needed to change price. They suggest a new price and the phone sold quickly. I got my check very quickly after the sale.

Great once you figure out pricing

Listed two iPhone 6 units for sale, and found that the suggested pricing was way out of line with the market. Had to look at other listings to see what the going rate was. Once I got that right, sales were quick and easy. They should make it easier to see the range of competing listings so one can quickly get pricing right.

Glyde made it super easy to connect with a seller. I sold 2 phones very quickly, even though 1 was returned by a buyer because a corner of the screen protector on the iPhone was cracking slightly at the bottom. Glyde had the phone returned to me and I removed the screen protector making the phone virtually flawless. I was worried that I might get a bad review for the screen protector, but Glyde gladly re-listed my phone and it sold in a matter of hours!

Scam site?

Bought a Galaxy S5 for a reasonable price (120$ or so) and was fairly happy and excited to receive it. 5 mins later I received an email saying my order was cancelled, but the money was never returned to my bank. I complained over email and received a computer generated response saying they would get back to me within 24 hours, that never happened and I am still waiting for a response.
