Bought a phone for my husband from them - supposed to be in "excellent" condition. 72 hours was not enough time to realize the battery is CRAP - will not hold a charge. Waiting for email reply as to what to do next. But with only a 72-hour return policy, we are probably screwed. It took more than 72 hours to cancel husband's number from previous plan and start new plan.

I ordered a phone from Glyde and cancelled the order and reordered an different one. I received the cancellation email, etc. The phone I actually ordered, was received well over 6 weeks after initial order and seemed to work well for the first 4-5 days. Then my daughter noticed the front display/glass pealing away from the phone. This phone was sold as excellent! By no means was this the case…a waste of $250.00. Now onto the phone I initially cancelled. Glyde charged me 3 months later for a phone I cancelled and never received. Now I am dealing with the bank's fraud department. SERIOUSLY…. You have been warned. Also, glide has not customer service reps and you are at the mercy of their minions answering your emails.

Glyde turns out to be disaster for me. Their model just doesn't work. It SUCKS

First of all, I was charged and failed twice for my selling my phone even when I meet all the requirement following their instructions. They don't tell you exactly why the buyer returns it and you ended up following their check instruction again and thought you met all the criteria and gave it a second shot, which leads to more charges.

Second, a lack of security! The "customer"took away part of my charger (the head). I end up spending nearly 9 bucks and losing part of the kit!

I bought 2 iphones...
December 18, 2014

I bought 2 iphones... first was ok... but the battery doesnt hold charge. The second had deep scratches on the front so i requested to return it. Its been a week and i'm still waiting for their return box which i have to use to do so. Customer service is sketchy, and only email, and takes days. I doubt they will be in business this time next year.

"I had a similar experience as everyone here. I purchased a iPhone 5S and when I received a package not only was there NO phone inside but also a random charger that did not even belong to an iPhone.

When I contacted their "customer service", which was done via email since they have no phone number, I received no apologies or acceptance of responsibility on their end. Only that I need to send the seller back their item... which was incorrect to begin with. They charged me for the return package to the seller too, which was an extra "f-you" to me from them.

To make a long, frustrating, infuriating story short: after countless, pointless emails from their "customer service" named "frank", I received no explanation, no apology and no indication of what the hell happened or where my refund was. The dispute is now in the hands of my bank and I never thought I'd be so thankful to have a bank finally doing something for their customers.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!"

I bought an iPhone 5s from Glyde listed as "Excellent" quality - and it was! It even came with a SIM card which I was told it may not. So, I was very happy with this experience but that has gone downhill fast. I decided to buy another iPhone 5S when one popped up for a great price. After almost a week I received a note from Glyde telling me the seller cancelled the order. Great, start all over! I found another phone for quite a bit more and ordered it. After 1.5 weeks I received an email from Glyde telling me the seller was late (no kidding!) but I would receive it soon. It finally arrived and it was in perfect condition EXCEPT the phone wasn't a Sprint phone as they described it. So now I am waiting for Glyde to send me a return shipping box (why they couldn't just generate a shipping label and reuse the original box?) and I won't get my money back until the item has been delivered back to the seller. Clyde generously tells me to expect a full refund including shipping BUT tells me any future returns that I will have to split the cost with the seller. HUH? WHAT!? That policy makes absolutely no sense! Therefore, I cannot take another chance on buying anything from Glyde.

I ordered the Samsung Galaxy SIII certified from Glyde.com and I have to say I am very disappointed. I spent 187.00 on a phone that was shipped to me broken. I am not able to charge the phone. I have sent an email and had no response in over 24 hours. In this day n age it's rare to find a website that will scam you and take your money but Glyde. Com will sure do that. I have to stay in contact with my children and work everyday, now that I purchased my phone from Glyde.com I will no longer be able to do that. Stay away from with website! 187.00 down the drain!

Stay away from Glyde
November 17, 2014

Stay away from Glyde. It's essentially a scam. I mailed my iPhone about 3 months ago and I still haven't been paid. There's no phone number for customer service and after a while they stop replying to your emails. If money is valuable to you, don't use Glyde.

The iPhone I ordered was described as having "some signs of normal wear from daily use which may include some scratches or other cosmetic issues." Ahem. Yes. Well, about that. The phone was SHATTERED. So I tried to call Glyde. They don't have phone numbers. You have to email. So I emailed them. To their credit, they emailed back right away. However, he asked me for my order number. Well, there was no order number in my box--not one piece of paper. And I was on my cell phone. So I emailed back with ALL of my contact info. The customer service guy emailed me again that "He couldn't locate me without an order number, even with an email and phone number." REALLY?! A company can't locate a customer or their order number without an actual order number? I don't believe that's true. But that's what Glyde is telling people. Okay. So I have to stop everything, do a search, find the email from Glyde, screenshot the email then send them that. With a photo of the cracked phone. THEN I get a standard email from them asking me whether I got the phone and whether it's in good condition. I try and respond by logging in using my cell phone. Impossible. The capture code wouldn't work. So I had to wait to go home and log in from my computer. There, I get the message that they're reimbursing me "in full" but that I have to pay for the original shipping, which was $6! TRUE STORY. They sent me a CRACKED PHONE. Not jut cracked. Shattered! I am sending it back. And I have to pay for the original shipping. I kid you not. I will never, ever, ever do business with this company again. Tell everyone you know. Because if you do, this is what you're in for. Sorry stuff. I'd be better off braving Craigslist.

I had one good experience buying an iPhone 5 from them. So I tried to get another. They sold me three bad ones in a row, even though each was listed in "Excellent" condition. The first home button was broken. Then the next was really dirty, the charging cable was broken, the charging port was gummed up so it didn't connect consistently, and then I realized the audio for cell calls was COMPLETELY GARBLED. Tried a third time, but they sent me a 16GB phone when I had bought a 64GB phone.

I also noticed that each of the two broken phones they sent me were not sent back to the sellers, but on to some new sucker. (The shipping label they had me attach said so.) So don't even try, because you'll probably get a hand-me-down that isn't as advertised. And you have to wait forever for phones to be in stock. So go with something else.

Since Glyde doesn't have a contact phone number, you are at the mercy of their customer service reps' work ethics.

I was nervous as a first-time buyer & I had many questions & concern. The first customer rep was not good. Her replies to my email questions took more than 2 days (automated email system says a rep will reply within 24 hours). However, Frank, the second customer rep was very quick --his responses came back before I received automated emails! Also he took time to resolve a problem (even it was a minor) by contacting a seller.

Also Glyde didn't disclose the phone's IMEI # or S/N even after I committed to buy, so I ended up to take a video when I opened the package. Luckily the phone was 'as described'.

Received an email this morning after posting the device for sale yesterday knowing I was asking a higher than normal price, I received an email from Glyde this morning suggesting I lower the price. Annoying.
