Good, easy process. Would definitely recommend for anyone selling an old phone.
I sold two phones on Glyde and the experience was seamless. I will use them again.
I sold two items, one a cracked iPhone 4s and the other being a Motorola tablet. The shipping was fast and I received my money very quickly. I would definitely sell on here again
Priced my phone quickly, sold it quickly, got my box quickly and got my money quickly. Customer service was responsive to questions and friendly.
Between me, my father and sister we have bought three phones, all phones were bad. Beware. My dad ( his phone arrived completely smashed) and sister (my sisters was marked as stolen with the phone company) were able to return theirs, and I was told my date for deciding would be extended since it arrived earlier than it was supposed to and my sim card was still in the mail, but then when I went to reject the phone it did not let me return it. Very frustrating
I ordered an Iphone 5s in January, and after a couple weeks i tried to log in to see where my phone is and it says my account is suspended and to contact them. So i sent an email NEVER got an email back i emailed 5 TIMES and still no phone or anything. They charged my account 3 times and now i have to report my card as fraud. Website is a scam, it takes your money then suspends your account!
I received an email to validate my information and I was told to respond by the following morning. I responded at 7:53am and they replied with my account is on hold and my order cancelled. Why is there no phone number to call? This is terrible service.
They advertise items they do not have just to attract customers. You will fill form, provide your credit card information and in a few hours you will get email saying that your order was canceled because "they" could not verify your information. This website does not have contact phone number so you send email and will never hear back from them.
Now, I am checking my credit card daily for any fraudulent charges!
Tried to sell my iphone5s, they had a buyer, I shipped it out several weeks ago and still have not received payment for it. I've sent several email with no response to customer service. Next time I will use USell. Used it in the past, no problems. Tried this new company out, because they offered me a price. Very dissatisfied. Never again.
A few days after I ordered I got an email stating that my account was on hold, I emailed to ask why and then they told me that they couldnt validate my info and cancelled my order... apparently they dont want any business because why wouldnt you just ask me to validate my info instead of cancelling the whole order. Usually I never go to sites like this I just stick with mainstream sites like Ebay and Amazon... I will not make that mistake again
Tried to buy a Samsung Galaxy 4 times! Each time I would get an email two days later saying the seller had "canceled" the transaction. Then they claim to take the seller off the website. Doubtful since they dont release the sellers username or anything. It's absolutely crap.
This review is merely to express my current situation as a possible scenario one might also encounter when buying from Glyde.com.
As of writing this review, I am on day (16) still waiting for the seller to ship the product. Aside from a seller, of corse, having free will and being able to not send ship his or her product in the recommended "next day" allowable time period, then causing more of a delay of the product arriving to you, the pre paid postage that was sent to the seller took a total of 11 days to arrive there. I have emailed Glyde a total of 3 times about this issue and on the third attempt to reach them, they then responded by saying they would contact the seller the FOLLOWING day, as opposed to the same time as responding to me at 11:30 AM, and give them 2 extra days to ship the product before then canceling my order then requiring me to re-order and re-wait an additional 2 weeks to receive my product.
I am certain this is a rare case and isn't a reoccurring situation for their customers and it is a fantastic site and concept with many great prices, but is is now something one could possibly see when ordering from them.
This is a fantastic way to sell unwanted cellphones! It was quick and easy. They do all the work.
So easy and got the most for an old iPhone. I compared the payout from each website, including my cell phone company and Glyde hands down gave me the most money and it was so simple. They did exactly what they said they would, no hassle, and I got the money in less than a week.
Pretty fast but super easy! They mailed me empty package I packed it up a week later bomb money in the bank!
The first phone i bought was not delivered after multiple delays. I canceled that order after almost 30 days. The next phone i ordered came within almost a week and the phone was as expected.
Overall, I had a good experience with Glyde. When my purchases fell through or were not at the accurate quality, Glyde attempted to make it right. At times, the shipping process was slow, but things were shipped safely.
I sold my apple iphone 5s and glyde got me the mist for my used phone. I use to use usell and I sent out the same iphone it took me 9 weeks to hear back. Would nit recommend that site to anyone I know. I am currently using glyde and I love it. I give it 5 stars
We've had great experiences with Glyde. Everything sells reasonably quickly and we get a much bigger cut than anywhere else.
It takes awhile to get the shipping kits. Also, you are charged for them in addition to the listing fees.
Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend
Welcome to the future of buying and selling used phones.
