Super simple, got a much better price for my IPhone than Glydes competitors offered. I will use them again.
Posting was easy, sale was easy, packaging and instruction was easy, and I got a check!
An account was opened on glyde.com in February, 2016 to purchase used iphone. The information required was my name, address, phone number, credit-card information including security code, date of birth, email address.
The order was placed. Received confirmation of the purchase from glyde and my credit card company (MC) sent an email notice of the the purchase and that it had been approved.
Minutes later, received an email stating that the purchase had been cancelled. In attempts to rectify what I though was an error on my part, despite approval by the credit card company, the process was repeated twice after in the same sequence and with the same results.
Received an email from glyde stating that the glyde account I had created had been put on hold. On contacting the company- by email, as there is no way to contact via phone it was confirmed that the account was put on hold, but no precise reason was given other than this was done internally.
Contacted my credit card company who reviewed and provided assurances that there were no problems with the credit card account, and that the purchases has been approved by the credit card company, then withdrawn by the merchant glyde.
Provided this information to glyde, to no effect. The account was still not reactivated, with no explanation
The account remains on hold I have no access to it, to remove personal and credit information from the account or site.
Extremely concerned that Glyde retains this information and there exists - whether deliberately or incidentally - a strong potential for misuse and fraud.
There is ZERO protection for the buyer on Glyde.com. I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S5 T-Mobile in "Excellent Condition." The phone arrived with a BAD ESN, had a balance owed to T-Mobile, and had the water damage indicators tripped. I immediately contacted Glyde.com with the issue via e-mail. The email responder was Julie who initiated a return. Afrer the return, I was told that Glyde.com does NOT return shipping costs and charged me about $10 for the error on the seller's part. I complained to Glyde.com asking why don't they verify ESN numbers prior to completing a transaction, the question was not answered and the shipping charges were not refunded to me. Waste of time and money for a buyer. Absolutely no protections for a buyer. Buyer beware!
I also received a device with terrible battery life. Ordered an iPhone 5C supposedly on excellent condition. I used it for a about a week and started to notice that the battery would drain really quickly. One minute it's fully charged, the next it's about 50%, then dead the next minute. I even emailed customer service about the issue and was told since the buyer acceptance period has passed the seller has been paid. They encouraged me to relist the item. Why would I relist it?! I need a working phone. Not giving them my business ever again. I probably would've found a better phone on Craigslist. SMH.
In spite of a spirited attempt to support what I thought would be a great company, I have been unable to complete a purchase- not sure why, card doesn't work on their site. However NO problems anywhere else. Customer service feels plodding, and well, less than helpful. Made me feel like the problem was on my end. Well, in the past year, I have successful purchased 4 phones elsewhere, and guess the next one is elsewhere as well. Just successful made a purchase on Amazon. I wouldn't recommend Glyde, as there are better buying experiences out there.
75% of the transaction cancelled by Glyde because seller can't fulfill commitment
Glyde doubles debit card processing transaction every five days for the same item
10% of the item bought actually arrived within the specified window
Please vent your sellers and hold them accountable so buyers don't waste time unnecessarily. Your sellers are pulling the website concept in a wrong direction.
I ordered an iPhone 6s Space gray through Verizon network for 549.80 transaction #*******209.
After 1 day my account is on 'suspension' and I have not received any information other than the mentioned along with the return of my money.
I was unsure if I incorrectly put in my card information (I couldn't find my card and did it by memory but was 99% sure of what it was because I order online often and have a very good memory with numbers). Anyway there was that but I did get a confirmation email so I thought that ruled out that guess.
The other thing is I had $100 put into my account earlier that day and the bank was supposed to be putting in $500 and they said that day. So I ordered it about 2 hours later and when I received a cancel email thought it may have been from insufficient funds at the time I ordered. If this is the case I completely understand but would really appreciate the process to speed up as I have been to the bank and know I have the $550 in my account. However no body has gotten back to me in the past few hours and I really was not only looking forward to my new to me phone but I do not have a phone at all right now and it's pretty mandatory for my work and was already pushing it with the 7 to 10 shipping time... Will update as time goes on but if I do not hear anything in the next 2 days I will (cry because that's 2 days into the shipping process I could have been in and I really need a new phone and have been waiting a month to get the money for this phone) but also possibly move on to another used phone site, very disappointing because the site looked very promising. Hope this is resolved soon.
Hi Sarah,

I Ordered an iPod on the 21st, It said that it would take up to 48 hours to confirm my transaction. The money has been taken from my account but I have yet to hear anything in regards to shipping. Today is the 25th and nothing? Poor customer service, but still willing to participate in business with you if someone were to get back to me.
Hi Rylee. I am very sorry about this delay in getting back to you. Can you tell me the order number here or the full name on your account? I will check on the status of this order and if it did not process, the status of your refund.
Thanks,
Brian

Although I did get the item for the price advertised, and it does function as advertised, I did not expect to receive it in the filthy condition it came. I had to clean greasy fingerprints, liquid spots, and dirt/food particles off the screen and back surfaces. It was gross. This was my first purchase through Glyde and it may be my last -- not because of Glyde necessarily, but because the device came directly from the seller who sent it in filthy condition.
Hi Jazpiano. I am so sorry to hear about the state of that device. Can you let me know the order number here through a comment or through a private message? We will be sure to remove the seller and help you with a return or price adjustment for the condition of this item. Thanks,
Brian

Our company recently needed to purchase several used iPads for an audio visual display. Almost all of them arrived in exactly the condition described, for what we consider a reasonable price. Sometimes a company's performance is best measured when something goes haywire. For the one iPad that arrived below the standards described, Glyde handled our request to remedy the situation with grace, courtesy, honesty and kindness. It would be unreasonable to expect the purchase of used product to go off without a hitch. But when a hitch happened, Glyde's response was perfect. So for the majority of items that were perfect, thank you, Glyde. And for the one that needed help, thank you for your prompt and effective customer service. I have no hesitation in recommending your services and website.
Item received were as described and good price. Shipping took a lo time. Some items were canceled because person did not ship on schedule. Overall I like it I think prices are reasonable for used items.
The iPhone5 that I bought was great condition except the battery. Obviously something is wrong with the sensor. One minute it will be at 85% then down to 1% and dies. Very frustrating but I guess you guys can't really do much about that.
Hi Matt. Thanks for letting us know about this battery. I am so sorry to hear that it is malfunctioning like this. Can you let me know the order number here or email us at service@glyde.com with it. We can check if the item can be returned and help with the battery repair cost. Thanks again.

Purchased an iPhone that was described as "in excellent condition". Maybe it is except for the fact that I have to recharge the battery at least three times per day. It's a little frustrating. I will not be purchasing from Glyde again.
Hi Linda. I am very sorry to hear about the condition of this battery. Can you let me know the order number in a response here? I'll see if we can set up a return to the seller or cover you for the cost of the battery repair if the inspection period has ended for the phone purchase.
Thanks,
Brian

Product was purchased (iPod) was as advertised. A overall very good experience. Had to have customer service prompt our seller a bit which made me nervous about getting the transaction before Christmas but it all worked out perfectly in the end.
I was very disappointed with the process. I bought an IPAd and received the wrong charger. At first everyone was cooperative and asked the owner to respond to me and mail me the correct charger. Once again I received the same wrong charger. When I contacted Glyde and told them I still didn't have the correct charger and I couldn't even tell if the item worked or not no one responded to me at all. I asked them to either send me the correct charger or give me $29 so I could buy a charger here to see if the IPAD even worked. I never heard from anyone again. Instead I paid $29 additional money to buy my own charger so I could see if it worked - it was a Christmas present and I had to purchase the charger on my own. I was lucky that the IPAD worked - I couldn't know either way until I purchased the charger on my own. I would never buy from Glyde again.
Hi Nancy. I am so sorry about the iPad charger and the hassles this has caused. Can you let me know your order number in a response here. I will make sure you are covered the $29 for the charger. Thanks so much.

I want to list an expensive iPhone, but upon reading so many negative reviews, I am terribly nervous about mailing (essentially releasing control of my phone), and like so many disgruntled reviewers, left with a compromised phone and no recourse.
I have read several responses from Glyde.com, and was disappointed with their reply. Essentially Glyde.com was just repeating the same information that was on its website and not addressing the issue.
I guess I will be going eBay and Craig's list to sell my phone.
This is sad because glyde.com is on to a good thing. But they need insurance and procedures/rules to protect against damages after the item leaves the protection of the owner.
Hi Richard,
Thanks for feedback regarding selling and insurance on Glyde. I apologize for the confusion caused by our responses here. All shipments are insured against damage or theft. A phone damaged enroute to the buyer or during a return is very rare, and if it does occur, we've got your back. Just email us at service@glyde.com. We hope you will give Glyde a try. Thanks again.

I sold my excellent condition, fully functional iphone and the power cord. About two weeks after I shipped the phone, I received a message from Glyde telling me that the buyer was returning the phone - no explanation provided. Nearly three weeks later, I received the phone in return, and it has been destroyed! It has been torn apart with some rudimentary tool, there are scratches all over the phone, the screen is damaged. I would't know the difference, but it almost looks as though someone opened up the phone to harvest a part, and was unable to piece it back together.
I am beyond disgusted.
Hi B. R. I am so sorry to hear about this. Please follow up with our message to you here or to this comment. All items are insured against damage or theft and we will help you get those proceeds. If you can follow up with me here with your order number, I'll look into it right away and get this resolved. Thanks.

Clyde was the service where I received the most money back and they make the process SO easy. It took me only THREE DAYS to sell my phone! They sent me everything I needed to mail along with instructions on how to reset my device. My funds were there quickly, too. I have recommended Glyde to everyone I know!
Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend
Welcome to the future of buying and selling used phones.
