My mom got me a gift card to a restaurant for my birthday. I tried to redeem and saw someone else had already. Instead of a restaurant gift card, they converted it to an ebay gift card which I will never see again. I have emailed customer service TWICE and heard NOTHING.

Someone used my debt card 7 times to buy gift cards. Was not authorized at all my me. Bank had to reverse the charges and is now having to send me a new card. Wish I could find out who used it, the card never leaves my possession!
I answered a survey for Delta Dental and for this the insured was sent a gift rocket card. What a scam! Plus it means they were scamming my Dental Insurance.
Now I have to spend time reporting to BBB.
Give me a break. They even sent a card that said Visa.
I was looking for a gift card for a specific restaurant for my son's birthday. This site popped up as one who would provide that gift. It allowed me to print a card that indicated it was a gift for the restaurant I had chosen.
However, when it came to redeeming the card that restaurant was not available and my son's only option was to have to money transferred into his bank account or pick another gift card. I could have easily given him the $50 cash but I wanted the gift for that restaurant.
This site should specify what gift cards are available instead of acting like they can provide what you want only to dissapoint in the end.
GiftRocket sounds great. But they don't deliver the gift certificate for DAYS after the purchase date.
We bought a "gift card" for my son, who is in the Marines, to use at the commissary on base. He could not ever access the money and once I realized that the number given isn't a number that is ever answered, I called my bank and disputed it. My son then informed me that several other Marines told him that they were also never able to get their money. This company should be ashamed and I am going to report them to every possible place I can.
This is a classic Ponsey Scheme. They take your money then deposit it in their account claiming to deposit it in the recepients account 7 days later. Your better off just sending someone money yourself thru FB or Venmo. It's after 7 days I'm still waiting for my money. Scam artist!
Giver can revoke the gift before you can redeem it. Used by scammers. Customer service i s terrible.

Where to start? The worst company in the world perhaps? Very possible. Horrible customer service, long waits for purchases. Please don't try this scam.
I bought a acmoore gift card they didn't tell me that there wasn't a card for armoire until after I paid. Then they told me to have the money put into my bank acct. Like a dummy I have my banking info. Bad don't do that. I never got the money so now I'm fighting for it back. I'm calling my credit card co. Now to stop payment I hope.
Total scam. Said that my order was cancelled by "Security Team" and funds have not yet been credited. This is like the King of Nigeria internet hoax... avoid like the plague!

Maybe I'm old school, but just give me a gift certificate and be done with it. I confess that it was my error when I clicked the wrong box on my phone, but now I'm stuck with a $200 gift certificate that I can't even give away in my office. I am guessing they get advertising fees for promoting gift cards for certain large online stores.
If you want to give somebody a gift certificate that's as good as cash send a check or us Venmo.
I received a gift and had several options. I liked that very much! Being able to choose my gift was very nice. I didn't feel like I was stuck with something that I would not use or would give away.
Any positive reviews are fake. They took my son's money for a gift to me, indicated that they'd deposit it into my account in 2-5 days (that was over two weeks ago) SOMEHOW to an account that ends in four digits that can't be any more different from my own. I'm guarding my bank account like a hawk. I hope these soulless criminals are proud of themselves.
Was mistakenly given a gift for a business not in my area. It was easy to exchange for a different business near me. A great idea and easy to redeem.
