This was my first time using fix.com, not only did it give me instructions on how to fix the broken part, once ordered the part came quickly and was the right part and was as easy to fix as it said it would be.
Right part, packaged well, $40 cheaper than Amazon. Worked great! Glad I found fix.com. Only gripe I can think of: took a week to get from Utah to Ohio... Great deal, I'll be back for sure
My daughter's light in her ceiling fan was out for a long time. After researching I come to find out that all it needed was a new wiring harness. I thought I needed a new "Housing" but after talking to the FIX. Com live chat they really saved me time and money by informing me that the "Housing" is only the metal outside unit of the light kit. I told them the issue and guided me to buy what is called the "Wire Harness" instead. WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I was on a time pinch and a tight budget so they really helped me out. Plus they were the lowest online for my part! Highly recommend!
The part came in a timely manner and the price was good but the part didn't fit the vise that I had. The gear drive was smaller than the worm screw. Thanks.
The part fixed my problem and the day the part arrived I had a repair man at my home doing another job and he put the part on my drain pipe for me!

I am a DIYer and as such have on occasion ordered parts for my appliances and equipment both by phone and over the web. I know that stuff happens so when my package arrived and one part for my clothes dryer was broken I immediately call Fix.com expecting to be down another 3-4 days (Thurs afternoon so two business days makes it Mon. At best). With typical Canadian friendliness the woman I spoke with not only replaced the broken part (this time it was better protected) but expedited the shipping so I had the part the next day. Thank you!
I hesitated to purchase from anyone but the manufacturer, but after ready other reviews, and considering the fair price that was offered. I decided if it wasn't what I was after or it didn't fit or it was a cheaper version. Then I was only out a small amount.
The part came within 48hrs. Opened the box to find it to be a perfect match. Followed installation instructions, and it worked perfectly. Couldn't be happier, and I now know where to shop for my appliance repair needs.

Good people to do business with, but the delivery of my part took over 1 week. A little longer than I expected after seeing the notation on their site, that the average delivery time was 1.8 days

My first drill is fixed! Parts worked perfect with very little soldiering. It took both the variable speed switch and the forward/reverse switch.
I only needed a door handle for my freezer, and when I looked up the part (which was incredibly easy) it specifically stated that it was only the handle, no other parts. It was nice to not get a bunch of stuff I didn't need.
