The car we have been given is not what I expected. I had ordered a 4x4 and the Kia I have is not 4 wheel drive and has a very small engine - which on the hilly roads is not very safe when there are 5 of us in the car.
It was perfect except of the fact they didn't know how to operate Bluetooth and connect it to my phone. It just didn't work. Was available only for phone calls but not for directions from my phone to Waze or Google maps.
The rented car was in an excellent condition. The person who picked me up at the airport and then took me back was very kind and respectful. The gentleman who did the paperwork was very professional.
I would again rent from Europcar when in Greece.

I am due to commence my new rental reservation no. *******164. Also today, Tuesday 28 June until 27 July.
The rental company i picked the car up on 21 June told me there is no need to return the car today and then pick it up again, that teh rental will continue with the new reservation number, Please let me know if i need to do anything else.

We wanted a Jeep Renegade and got extra insurance from booking.com. When we got there, they didn't have the Renegade anymore, instead we got a Kia. To get the insurance coverage that we wanted and had already paid for on booking.com, we had to pay another €100. We'll never rent here again
Honestly not at all a nice experience. I did a reservation under my name but I don't drive e put my husband as driver; they then told me I had to pay for an extra driver. The guy I was talking to didn't even look me in the eyes when we were talking so I couldn't understand whether he was talking to me or to the earphones. It was very unpleasant.
The car remote control didn't work and they didn't tell me.

This comment was rewritable to the Ts & Cs online and in the voucher we had share you when you had booked online the car. There were two employees who handled my rental. A guy and a lady. The lady was perfect. However the experience that I had with the guy who came first was terrible. He was arrogant and instead of trying to help I felt that he was trying to make the overall experience even worse

Everything was ok with the online reservation process, the car and the staff.
The Europcar office in Thessaloniki Airport is not inside the airport, and the indications to get to the connection bus from the airport to the office were not clear enough. No information was provided at the end of the online reservation process, however information is available by searching "Europcar Thessaloniki airport" in Google.
Went through the car and checked for damage. Recorded all damage and scrap. There were also injuries that they themselves had not registered. When I returned the car, they suddenly found a tiny scratch under the car, which I had to pay for. Who gets under the car to check when you are going to rent. Also stated that there was damage I discovered on delivery that was not registered. They then stated that the damage was not registered until there was agreement on who would pay for the damage. So if we do not detect the damage, the customer risks paying and they charge several times for the same damage
The shuttle bus was waiting as explained in the voucher and took us smoothly to the car rental office. The rental contract was also prepared in a smooth and safe way with digital signing and all documents sent to my e-mail. The car was photographed and also the existing small damages on it were documented, and sent to me. Signed as well. The car was clean and proper and as we wished.

The car was relatively damaged when it was taken over. When handing it over, they wanted to blame us for the damage. A video shot during the handover spoke for us.
The panes were so dirty that we had to buy a glass cleaner to clean them. Everything else was life-threatening…

We came on a family vacation and had 2 car orders -as we arrived to the desk we were told the orders were cancelled, due to the fact that we arrived late (5 hours vs the allowed 4) it didn't matter that we already paid for the cars - the women at the desk said we have to re order, pay again and than try to get our money back! Since we're 9 people with small children after long international flight_•- we didn't have much of a choice and were kind of forced to do so…. BTW the agency we ordered from said - the order was not cancelled, now since it happened with 2 orders and not one - it's not a "glitch" or mistake, but more of a way to rip off tourists……

The overall experience during the reception of the car was fine. The car was also according to the expectations.
However, I had contracted a GPS system but I had to reject it since the model provided was very only and did not work properly, being the only one available.

In Athens: catastrophic! On probably more than 100 car rental in my life: the worst.
45 minutes for check-in of internet pre-booked car. Impossible for the staff to treat one customer in less than 10 minutes. But it's not finished: arrived at the parking, another fifteen minutes to verify the papers and the car. On returning, the trainee at the parking directly told us that he was not able to do the job and was alone. Waiting for an undefinite delay was the solution. I had to refuse this, in order to catch our flight to Heraklion.
The car itself was micro, I would not qualify it mini!

No kiosk at the airport. Had to be taken farther out with a van.
I ordered for a 1.6 mini SUV and what I got was a 1.0 smaller SUV. They told me it is on the same vehicle category. When I told them I had ordered a 1.6, they told me we don' t even have 1.6! Last time with Europcar for sure!

Our station is almost 1klm from the airport. We are so sorry for the misunderstanding about the category of SUV. Is true that in our fleet we don't have an SUV of 1.6 and we didn't have availability of another model to give you the specific time.
