This site is the worst site I've ever used. I signed up. They take all the money up front. No matches locally that meet my criteria. There is no matching at all in fact, and you can only get a few suggestions per day, most of them are not active members. I'm a 43 year old woman in Minneapolis, and the photos below are my "matches."

I signed up with them thinking it was a legit site as I was looking for a friend that matched my education level. Well, I got plenty of responses, "Jane Doe Sent a Smile". Try to reply back, but no response. Hmmm. Well, maybe they are not interested? I replied to at least 30 of the "Sent Smile" messages to start a conversation with no reply. If someone sent me a smile, I thought I would get back at least one reply!
So it gets worse, now my debit card is being charged for all kinds of different dating sites! Thank goodness I have fraud protection and my bank refuses those kinds of transactions. I would avoid and go with a more mainstream site. Cheers!

Plenty of Scams - always the same message "I have a friend very interested in you - please email them"; click on show only profiles with photos - no photo profiles come up; much younger people message me & if I ask them questions they never return a message. This website is just a waste of time,, how it ranked #1 on dating site reviews I'm amazed... they must have paid off someone to get this lie printed.

Please people, do not even entertain the idea of joining Elite Singles. I have substantial evidence that many of the profiles simply DO NOT EXIST. There is currently a lucrative lawsuit against this Filthy Organization!

This site has become a site filled with fake profiles and 98%, no exaggeration, of the responses profiles are fake and responses are program generated. The profiles contain so little personal information that it is not worth reading. They are all less than 30 words, "love family friends, honesty and healthy life style". No other personal information. This site is doomed completely. It only became from bad to worst in the last three months. I no longer bother to check the messages. I would not even give it one star. It worth zero star. I rarely write review but I really don't want anyone to waste money and time on this site. BIG WARNING... DON'T WASTE MONEY NOR TIME ON THIS SITE. Ellen

Their trap is auto-renewal. They put you on automatic subscription without authorization. Once you have given them your bank info, you got in these con artists' trap. There is no point in getting involved with these fraudsters putting your money at risk! I have never had such problems with other dating sites, but Elitesingles is a plain rip off to avoid at all costs!
Instead of someone " elite" I just came across many scammers with photos of sexy girls stolen from Instagram. Of course, they were just interested in my money. Don't waste your time on fakes, scammers and just highly materialistic pretentious women on Elitesingles.

As with many others, this is by far the worst site I have tried. I tried to get a refund after the first week and they refused. The large majority of the matches I was sent were 30 or more years younger than I am, and I had a more age-appropriate setting selected as very important. The matches were often several states away and I had the distance from me selected as 100 miles and again selected as very important. I tried to contact customer service about this and got no replie. Don't waste your money and even more importantly don't waste your time.

After reading all these "professional" reviewers give this dating site 4.9/5, perhaps they should have actually tried it. After 4 months on the site, the only conversations I've had are with more scammers. Most of my matches only have a High School education, or don't even bother to complete the profile. Those I do converse with, quickly get pulled off the site for being fraudulent accounts. Lately I get people contacting me that want me to contact, not them, but other people off-site! This was the most money I have ever spent on a dating site, and I will never again! PLEASE don't purchase a membership. I met far better people on Zoosk, and Plenty of Fish for free.

I turned off auto renewal on the app. Yet they charged my CC and refused to refund me. Have gone to my bank about this situation. They are fraudsters in my opinion

I purchased a subscription thinking it was going to be a great site to possibly meet someone. That has Not been the case. Instead, I receive many emails stating that they've found a match, but that they'd love for me to meet a friend. They include an email address for me to contact "their friend/colleague." I receive at least one of these messages per day, up to 3 daily. Naturally, I report them to the EliteSingles. I tried to cancel with a partial refund. (Trying to contact Customer Service was a nightmare. Unable to speak to someone.) I do Not recommend this site. It's extremely overpriced for what you'll receive!

I'm my opinion many of the fake profiles are generated by the company itself. People with high school educations with careers that clearly require an advanced degree. Crazy heights.
Totally ignore distance preferences even though you have chosen the highest level of importance to it, the same with age. Canceled it.

Initially, I was getting a few smiles/contacts from women who lived geographically within my area and were age appropriate. I now get 15-30 "smiles" a day from women across the country who are 20 to 35 years younger than I with barely a word in their profiles. Interestingly, most of the smiles come immediately after I go onto their website to look at my profile and matches. In the next 10 minutes I get 10 or so emails saying someone has smiled at me. My subscription was renewed with no warning at a very high price. I found much higher quality matches on other dating sites and would not recommend Elite Singles. Also, a few of the contacts I did get that were worthy of conversation claim they found me on Silver Singles even though I never signed up for that service.

I paid for the Premium Membership and then my uploaded photos were not shown. Also, every 'match' I got was blurry and unfocused. I was able to contact customer service and I got NADA! Maybe I will get my money back thru my Visa provided. Do Not sign up for this 'service'. You will regret it.

I thought I would give this site a shot (paid ~$160 for 3 months as I did not see a one month option).
The "matching" process is horrendous.
No matter how tight you set your filters (age, distance, education, etc) they constantly would send me "daily matches" that were nothing like I was looking for.
Approximately half of the daily matches would be 5-10 years older than my set upper age limit and I constantly was matched with people hundreds of miles away (and by that I mean 2-4 STATES away despite my maximum distance settings.
You also can select a BODY TYPE which may sound shallow but we all like what we like.
And then there are the fake profiles.
When I first log onto the site, I am guaranteed to receive 5-10 instantly "smiles" from fake profiles.
So irritating.
I have tried two other dating sites and this one by far is the worst.
Do not waste your money (or time) on nothing elite about EliteSingles...

I used EliteSingles for 3 weeks to give it the benefit of the doubt. In my third week of use, I was noticing the profiles of individuals that tried to connect with me disappeared. I was then conversing with someone for a few hours and I noticed what he was saying to be was very cliche and not unique. I then realized I was talking to a fake person. Talking to fake people on a dating website is very scary and dangerous, especially in an age when identity theft is extremely high. I filed a dispute with my bank and they honored my request to receive the full 6 month premium membership back. I suggest everyone do this, if they are unhappy with EliteSingles because they will not refund your money. This way, if enough banks know they are suspect, they will be forced to go out of business. EliteSingles is now threatening to contact collections for their premium membership. I told them they would have to deal with my bank. They have almost 400 negative reviews against them at this point. They are most definitely a scam company.

1. So many profiles are fake and the customer service never took action on them. The scammers kept creating profiles with same pictures and different info (age, location, job). I reported that too with screenshots, but no action was taken.
2. They mention the profiles to be highly educated individuals but almost every match is hardly educated.
3. The app ignores your preferences and you will be matched with anyone and everyone on the app.
4. The customer service never fixed my technical problems (Report Abuse link doesn't work, Support link doesn't work - It shuts down the app).
5. My login credentials work on the app, but don't work on their web version. Still no action was taken by the customer service.
What a waste of my valuable time and money. Doesn't even deserve a 1 star.

When I set my profile up they would not allow one picture, I don't know why. But I get dozens of likes with pictures of women and their phone number written over it so they don't vet them properly. Worst dating site I have ever been on unworthy of the name, Elite. Join at your peril!

I have been on six other dating apps over the past year--all as a paying member. I have never had so many unattractive matches sent to me than I have on Elite Singles. Also, the amount of people located in my geographic area was negligible. I am usually considered very pretty or beautiful and am getting a large percentage of matches that are genuinely unattactive (no judgment of unattractive people here, just not appropriately matched.)
