Signed up last night. Most of the men on here are in their 60s-70s. I messaged a couple of guys with no response at all. Very few matches. I tried this morning to get a refund (which is shown as an option) since I just have a bad feeling about it & I was on Ambien when I signed up, which sometimes makes me do impulsive things. The refund button was just spinning, so I tried to find customer service, which was a nightmare. It takes you in circles without providing the information. I finally found it, although idk how, & requested a refund. I'm hoping since it's been less than 12 hours, they'll do it. Plus, I'm reading so many stories here about people getting charged for other dating sites or even being charged again after they canceled. I wish I had never signed up!

It has good reviews for some reason. I have yet to see why. It's more expensive than other sites and its FULL of scammers using the same pick up stories and SAME email address to "introduce you to their friend/boss etc because they are deactivating their account bc they are getting married in a few days." Unbelievable how their algorithm doesn't search for the commonalities despite reporting. Don't bother to "report" because it does nothing.

All they do is steal money from consumers! Don't waste your time on filling in your profile, especially if you are a man - 80% of women profiles are either fake or outdated.
Elitesingles feels like a ghost town: no messages, downright odd matches with no photos. Surely I wanted to cancel. And I thought I did but I was mistaken: last month they charged my credit card again. Now it looks like I have to mail or fax to Belgium. I'm sure you don't need all this crap, so just stay away from EliteSingles!

First of all. You can't "shop" for possible best connections. They spoon feed you who they want you to see and connect with. You also can't choose a distance for which you would like your possible future mate to live. For instance: The minimum distance in which they might live is 50 miles. Maybe I want someone that lives closer, but I can't choose that. So I live in Colorado and most of the Elite-filtered choices for me, live many miles away-some from the east coast. Really? I also can't filter their height. I am a tall woman and Elite sends me matches that are 5'7" men. In a nutshell, I don't think this British based website is invested in bringing people together. I think this is all about money in their pocket. If you purchase just be prepared to give them your money and have NO control over who you can choose or criteria that is important to you. Good luck finding any matches on this website. Buyer beware :(

This sight is full of scammer and they allow the scammer back again and again. I was talking with an individual who turned out to be a scammer. He was deleted from the sight but a week, yes a week he was back under a different name and was matched to me again. They say that they review your photos but they do not for if they did, they would of seen this guy was back under a different name same photo. What a waste of money

My matches were ridiculous, they totally ignored my search criteria. The women aren't elite - absolutely! I met no woman who would combine beauty and intelligence. This is NOT what I call "elite". I was hoping to find a good-looking local woman, but Elitesingles wasn't helpful at all. Moreover, they added bogus unauthorized charges. Make sure you don't use your main credit card on Elitesingles - otherwise they will keep charging you for auto-renewal, and it's a pain to stop them.

I am an attractive woman with a lovely figure. The photos I posted were current and not just my face, but full body shots. Most of the photos they sent me as potential dates were extremely unattractive, I mean butt ugly, and some of the photos were of someone's chin or whatever, not pictures that should have passed their so-called "approval!" There were also a lot of scammers who were canceling their subscription and wanted my personal e-mail address because their boss, their friend or whoever was "crushing" on me. Waste of time and money!

An "elite" site who's sole functionality is matching people with like people, doesn't require anyone to fully fill out their profile or post pictures. Most matches came in the first week of signing up, and most of them told me nothing about themselves or had pictures. ALL messages and smiles sent to me were from people out of state. If they are going to make this site successful, they need to require everyone to take it seriously. This was a total waste of my time and money.

You must pay for a year up front and can get a refund only for 3 days after signing up. Do not honor your criteria.

This company should be ashamed of themselves! I pay $60 for a one month trial. So happy that i did not pay for 6 months up front. It is full of scammers and there are not any real members. It is so bad that i cancelled my subscription and will not even use it the remainder of the month. Bumble and Match.com are actually legitimate sites.

This site is a scam. It claims to have a "free "membership but you can't see your matches, you can't see the faces of the people they're suggesting, and when you get messages from other members you can't read them unless you pay $200 to "unlock" your messages. There's nothing "elite" about the site. The majority of people are disgusting and trashy, and the second day I was on the site, I received a message from corporate saying there was a scammer profile on their site that contacted me. The app doesn't work, the photos load sideways, the order of your likes and preferences on the profile load upside down. The site is a disaster. Nobody answers from Customer Service. I hope somebody sues them.

I have used this web for once last year, because of the busy work. I was completely forget this web. And never logged on my account. I even forgot I have a membership. Last weeks, I saw a £209 payment been took away from my PayPal. And found actually it is from elite single. The problem is I have not received any email or message before the renewal. Anyway, I have wrote to elite single about this matter, and following is the response from them:

Thank you for your message. Your premium membership renewed on 30.05.2022, because the automatic renewal was not cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of your subscription term.
We regret if this was unexpected but the automatic renewal of your Premium membership has now been switched off. You can use your paid subscription until 30.11.2022. Once your subscription ends, it will revert back to a basic, free membership.

If you did cancel the automatic renewal of your membership on time, please provide us with some kind of documentation of this, such as an emailed cancellation request or a cancellation confirmation email. We will gladly look into it!

In the meantime, we thank you for your understanding and hope you enjoy your time with us.

It is a legal scan. Is it fair …. I think Everyone have the answer

Appreciate that the pictures are a little clearer than other sites, but am surprised that there are so few contacts in Denver, CO. The preferences require that you include a minimum of 50 mile radius. The picks I get are even farther than that. I just don't see myself driving 50 - 100 miles to meet someone. I simply don't have that kind of time. I really wish I could limit the distance range.

I joined up and filled out all the necessary info about myself. Then an email from E. S saying that I had a message from Janice. When I clicked on the link in the message 'Get in Contact ' my message page showed up. But no Janice. Only the previous message from other members. Wasted my time (see screenshots 1 & 2).

Then I tried to ask the Help Desk. The instructions says: '... You can contact our Customer Care team: via our contact form, available in our Help pages...'. When I clicked on HELP there was NO Fokking Contact Form (see screenshot 3). Wasted 1 hour of my fokking time.

The quantity of paying members is minimal, so your options of someone close to your area is very small, perhaps 2 to 4 in your city. That is for a month. Also, the site is full of scam members with fake profiles with who knows what intentions. Previous to joining the site I did my research and found excellent reviews, for sure they are fake. I just wrote this information so other people save their money and disappointment.

If you have someone that messages you that says the had a friend look at your profile on their account it's fake. They'll say their friend was "intrigued with your profile" They describe this friend's supposed age and how tall they are. They mentio. How beautiful this "friend" is and other nice qualities. Then they provide their email address and ask that you email them. At the end the originator of the message says they are about to close their account and that they found success and are getting married. Then they close with "If I cand find successs then you can too" or to that effect. I've emailed a few of those "perspectives" and when you ask certain questions that should be easy to answer they never reply. I even tried a phone number that ended up being bogus. So watch out! People out there are trolling these sites and playing games with your intent to find a friend. Best thing to do is to ask for the "friend's" phone number at the start to see if it's provided. If you get into an email conversation just ask to call them and see what happens.

Here's how to turn this company in to the FBI. Since there is a cost for service and to me there is fraud involved, there is a site called IC3 - "The mission of the Internet Crime Complaint Center is to provide the public with a reliable and convenient reporting mechanism to submit information to the Federal Bureau of Investigation concerning suspected Internet-facilitated criminal activity".

Nothing but fake profiles. Ignores your preference settings. Difficult to navigate or report/ block the fake and obnoxious. Matches you with members that obviously aren't serious having names like Mister Big, blank or incomplete profiles etc. when you try to cancel you suddenly get all kinds of desirable matches - but turns out it's just a marketing scheme because they're all fake. Awful.

To reiterate what many other people have said, spam accounts and spam messages are out of control. I've used other dating sites before, and I would run into a couple of spam accounts every now and then, but at EliteSingles I could expect at least five "smiles" per day from fake accounts. Clearly the operators of this site are unable or unwilling to deal with this problem. In about two weeks of usage (the time until I got fed up and deleted the account), I exchanged messages with only two accounts that I suspect to be real.

The matching criteria is broken. It is not possible to filter by age, geography, education level, desire to have kids, or anything else. They ask if these are important I think just to make you feel like you are sorting somehow. The site markets itself as "elite", which means a disproportionate number of people with advanced degrees, but I see no evidence that this is the case.

There are lots of bugs. The biggest problem I found is that the Tindr-like "Have you met?" feature sometimes just doesn't work at all.

They make you go through the long quiz, but then you have to pay to see matches or the first set of incoming messages. This is highly deceptive.

I wish there was some way I could take legal action, as the service is so poor as to raise suspicion of it being a scam, but I don't know how to do this. In the meantime, I am going to go out to some singles events in my city. I won't meet any women who are interested in me this way either, but at least it will be fun and probably less expensive.
