The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to perceived deceptive practices regarding refunds and subscription management. Many users express frustration over the lack of suitable matches and the prevalence of fake profiles, leading to a sense of wasted time and money. Customers frequently highlight inadequate customer service, with limited access to support and automated responses exacerbating their concerns. While a few users mention positive experiences, the overwhelming sentiment suggests a need for improved transparency, better quality control of profiles, and a more responsive customer service approach.

They will do everything to keep getting your money and renew your membership, STAY AWAY FROM THOSE THIEVES!
I signed up in the morning, completing the questions and picking a pic. I then got an email saying they have removed my profile. I was confused since I had just signed up for it that morning. I tried to login to see whats up. The site said I can reactive my account and when I try, nothing happens. I tired to login with my phone, nothing, tried with my ipad, nothing. I finally tried with my laptop and I was in an endless loop of login pages, all of which would not let me login. I did a search to see if there was site problems and found hundreds of complaints against Eharmony. SO many people saying the site doesnt work, they cant login, they are not getting matched, they can get refunds For a site as highly advertised, it would seem they would want to be sure there is some sort of customer satisfaction. But after reading the endless pages of complaints, articles from the Times and Universities, it seems that Eharmony is doing more harm than good. Glad I didnt get my profile up and running. Consumer beware look into the reviews of this site before signing up!
To give you an idea about how bad this service is if you earth "customer service," on the help topic page it tells you there is nothing matching those search terms. That pretty much sums it up. These guys are total crap stay away. Expensive, needlessly complicated most profiles it shows are no longer active and after you cancel they keep harassing you. Stay away.
My friend used EHarmony and one of her first matches is now her husband and perfect match. They actually called after their first date and told them they no longer needed the site. EHarmony gave them the remainder and also gave them a small amount of money as a gift for their wedding when they posted it on their website. So there is some credibility to it if you don't mind the fee.
No matches in my town or the next town, most matches are from out of state! Fraud that they take my money when they can't even offer me anything. Trying to cancel has been a joke. The web site is not easy to use.
Whenevr I ask a couple wanting to be married how they met, they say eHarmony. Always the nicest people getting married. Most say not the first person the met but after a few found true love. Thank eHarmony!
Unless you buy into the myth and superstition based BS that is Christianity, don't bother with eHarmony. Neil Clark Warren is a bigoted, right wing evangelical nut job, and many of the questions asked in the initial survey are to determine if you are also a ignorant religious nut. If it is determined that you aren't, you won't even be allowed to set up a profile. Take your business elsewhere.
Biggest waste of my money. They sent me the same match/photo w different profiles 2 days sort. Oops, eharmony that's sloppy. Site full of made up and bot profiles. Don't do it.
Misrepresentation for valentines day. No free day. Thy are trying to crook you
Just wanted to make a comment on here to warn people not to use eHarmony --- worst dating site every, they charge you to send a message after charging you an outrageous amount to join and not even giving you matches. EHarmony should be shut down, it is a scheme just to make money. I can't believe they are still in business. That ugly man should be in jail.
But ended up disappointed. Defnitiely not the dating service i would recommend to someone i like.
Subscribed to a 3 day free trial, cancelled on the 2nd day. Well within the free trial period. They charged my account $24.99 and I have not been able to get anyone in Customer Service to issue a refund. They agree I cancelled within the 3 day period but state I have to respond to an email to customer service. Each time I try to respond it comes back: address error. Tried to go on the site and get a contact email, there is none.
Would not recommend. Scam! 1
Few matches. They change any preferences about continuing your membership and bill you when oven when you've turned off the automatic renewal. If you have paid for an extended period of time and don't renew, they turn off your account ahead of your expiration date and give you a message that your account was discontinued because you didn't pay your bill. Scam. The matches, or lack thereof, aren't worth the headache of getting rid of them. Nightmare
This site is the worst. Tried it after seeing all the commercials and decided to try a few months. Well every time I got new matches they were ALWAYS people who either lived 300 miles away from me or they were no longer using the site or had not been active in a month. They use fake profiles on there no joke, and I would always get the same matches. Fake profiles I have proof of because they sent me a match and a week later I thought I got the same match but it was another profile same photo. You have to PAY in order to even see any photos of these people and the ice breaker thing is stupid! Once you sign up and pay you only have 3 days to cancel otherwise they keep charging you. I finally threated to take action if they didn't stop charging me and they finally stopped.
The site execution is awful. Received the same matches multiple times usually 2 states away. It seems that since i navigated my way through the maze of screens to opt out of auto renewal that it got even worse. Clear they rely on the big advertising budget rather than spend on improving quality.
This site is a scam. I am a good looking and educated 30 year old veteran. All the matches I get are obese uneducated women with multiple kids that live 400 miles away. They can't seriously expect someone with no children to date someone that's completely not want they want in life. They also use fluffers which are pretty girls that only respond a few times to make you feel as if there is hope. These women are fake. So in return if you like dating overweight, grotesque, dumb women from hours away this is perfect for you. Such a waste of my time and $240. Plus they won't seem to let me outta this subscription. I guess I'm a lifetime member. Fugg this garbage, it's the worst site ever. I've had more luck on tinder and OK Cupid in just a day rather than 3 months on eharmony garbage. Match.com is just as bad as eharmony. Both are scams with not nearly enough people to help increase compatibility odds. DONT EVER SIGN UP BECAUSE ITS FOR LIFE! They don't let you cancel.
I signed up and I advised I wanted to cancel my subscription. I followed the directions but there was no option to stop the subscription. The link they said would be there was not. It said on the site I was on a monthly account. However, when I contacted customer service they stated I was on a year long subscription. That also advised I could not get my money back. They also would not refund the $50 they took from my account. Even though I told them prior to the date of the payment I wanted to cancel and did not want the money taken from my account.
I signed up my dad to eHarmony to see if this site works for seniors and apparently it doesn't (at least not for him due to lack of members from his town).
I would rate e harmony 0 ratings. I bought a 6 months subscriptions last year. Every month they charged my credit card and then sent me few matches that did not quite was what I expected, no one sent me any email or respond, no connections or dates. I started to receive creepy photos and unfiltered profiles which made me feel frustrated. Some photos were men without shirts on and creepy looks. Don't join this dating site, they are a scam!
I joined a few weeks ago. I have seen no new people since then. The site is often down. I am not pleased and wish I had not first joined for a year.
Answer: EHarmony is over rated and it's a lot of mumbo jumbo... If you're going to pay for a site match.com is set up much better and for a free site plenty of fish is really a nice site... BillyPrewitt.com
Answer: No. They won't refund you.
Answer: On your profile where you get asked questions like whats your fav movie and so on. Replace any answers you have already left with offensive language which in turn will violate their terms and conditions and they will have no option than to close your account. As for getting a refund good luck.
Answer: I called my credit card company because I cancelled within the three day grace period. Eharmony tried to say I had waited too long and therefore would be no refund. My credit card company disputed the charges, my account was credited and I was just notified that the dispute has been approved. No more eharmony charges. Hoe things work out for you.
Answer: You can't opt out. You are locked for the whole duration of your subscription even if u dont use it anymore they will charge ur visa regardless untill ur contract expires. I have to spend 11 more months to a site I cant use coz Im a transgender woman and no man in there wants me.
Answer: Well I have but I No longer on those sites anymore because they are scammers of course and I was on match truly.com and I deactivate my account off there as well but however sometimes I register on that website match truly.com even though I'm No longer a member on that website anymore because I still see the same lady Anna I'd Number is 60780729 and she's still online right now just like any other ladies you see on that site so I go on there just to waste their time and use abusive behavior against them to teach them a lesson and I don't pay money for that so that's why if you Noticed just pay close attention to the lady Anna on match truly.com and you will see her on wishdates.com and many other dating sites so I'm just tracking these websites down and you can see the ladies are Not real and can you tell me what Normal person would stay online 24 hours a day and seven days a week that's Not a Normal person that's a Networker and they like to make all kinds of excuses for themselves so don't listen to Nonsense about what they say because if you keep talking to these fake ladies they will Robb you out of your money so pretty much wasting your time because you are Not getting anywhere but a dead end and believe me I know what I'm talking about because I was on that website for two years and believe me they are phony and so is the customer support they are fake and they think they are very intelligent human beings and they think they can manipulate people so just watch yourself and be careful because I'm still seeing the same ladies on that website today from two years ago they are Not real and they are Not looking for anyone
