SCAM!

I ordered two dresses that I had planned to wear for my sister's bridal shower and bachelorette party. Unfortunately over a month later I have yet to receive them and have been given the run around. They keep making excuses. I opened a paypal dispute and after paypal forced them to hand over a tracking number which said the package was never received by the shipping company, they begged me to drop the dispute. All this after their original reply to me waiting a month trusting it would get to me and their final reply after a month was, "If it's not there after a long time let us know and we will call your post office for you." I had already been to the post office to check on several occasions and when you were supposed to get the package much earlier than a month, I think a month would still be considered a long time. So I no longer have an event to wear either dress to even if the package were in existance, but they tried getting me to hold of on the dispute until 46 days after purchase because paypal gives you a 45 day window to file one.

They also said after 31 days they would give me a refund. Guess how many times I requested a refund and was given the run around?

I'm already at the third order on site and i'm very happy. The dresses one side didn't fit me but the size L and M are perfect (I 174 cm, 55 kg), the accessories and bags are absolutely wonderful.

I love to buy at dresslily.com. The price is perfect and the shipping is free. I really love my items from there. The necklace and the dress in the photo are from Dresslily. I always use my necklace and it costs almost $2 only. All of my packages arrived without taxes and with very good quality for the price.

I ordered some men's clothing from Dresslily and I have never been so dissatisfied by any order I ever made online. All delivered items were the wrong size, none of them corresponded properly to the picture, the materials were very bad as well as the finishing and 2 items never made it. Oh, and since they ship with China post, consider a 30% tax charge on your delivery if you order from Europe. My advise: don't order here.

Hello,

I've been reading reviews for years, and just decided to contribute the the community that has come to give me so much. I'm sorry to inform, but I will say my experience with dresslily was not as successful as some of the others I've read.

I'll start by saying the phone number will do you no good, as it goes directly to a voicemail, seems like days of email messages could have easily been covered in a 2 minute conversation, but couldn't get a call back. Once I received a message, I was told that some items were out of stock, and that was delaying my shipment. Once my order arrived (I just ordered a few pair of men's shoes) 5 weeks after I placed it, every one of my items was small. Once, again I'm back in the email cycle, and was told that the sizes are based on Asian sizes, and that they run small. I was told this by a representative of the website. When I inquired why no mention of this was on the sizing chart, I got no true response to the question. From there I was offered a coupon to the website (for an amount I'm still waiting to hear back on how much), or I could ship my items back, but I would have to pay a fee, since they would have to mark the items as "refurbished" upon selling them to another customer.

I'm sure this site has it's fans and I can completely understand it. I feel the quality of the product is pretty good, although I can't wear them to truly find out. I am greatly dissatisfied with the company and I will not shop with them again. I really hope this review helps those make informed decisions. Thank You

I love Dresslily! I've ordered from them a second time now and waiting for the goods to arrive! The first time I ordered a blouse that all my friends now want. And a dress that I wore to a friends wedding. One of the dresses I had ordered was no longer in stock so I was offered 'store credit' or a refund. I chose the refund, which I received soon after. Great communication and I can't wait for my next order to arrive!

Dresslily is now the only webpage I buy my clothes from. I don't have to go driving around or dealing with all those rude people at the mall. I can sit right here in my own house. They have amazing clothes and jewelry and I loooooove it all! They have alil something for everyone and free shipping on any order you cannot believe it! I have 3 family members who seen the items I ordered they to now shop at dresslily.com also now.

I have ordered from Dresslily.com twice, and both times I have been very satisfied. It is important o pay attention to the measurement notes when deciding on a size. Their easy cm to inch conversion calculator is quite useful for an American like me in doing this. I've been consistently impressed by the quality of the products here. Several dresses that I have ordered were of top quality material and worth far more than what I paid.

I buy my necklaces off this site and for the price and free shipping its worth it. Even tho it takes about a month to arrive, its better than paying the $13 to get it sooner. I get alot of compliments on them, I havent ordered any clothes from them so I cant say much on that.

This website is awesome: the items are cheap, the quality is alright, and there are so many clothes/shoes/bags! The customer service is really great, I always had answers within 24 hours.

I liked the clothes

I liked the clothes. They were surprising good quality for the price. Better then some stores in my city, so it makes it worth the wait for shipping. And with free shipping you can get as much or as little as you want. I LOVE the free shipping. I did have to wait a long time for the one order i placed to even ship but another one i placed was shipped he next day so i don't know if they were just bogged down at that one time or something. They will ship out an order if its not complete so you get what you can when you can but they do try to keep it all together. They didn't notify me when a couple of items i had ordered and paid for were no longer in stock, which was annoying. But once i asked about it, they gave me the option of replacing it or getting a refund, which i liked the option. I got the refund because of confusion with currency exchange but my paypal notified me in a day that it was there and three days later it was in my bank account. Overall i liked there stuff and they are a good company!

I've read some awful reviews about this site, but when I found my dream dress at such cheap price, I couldn't resist myself to put in an order. I completely regret this decision.

After I ordered it, the website said shipping takes 3 weeks. After a month, I contacted them about the status of my purchase. They responded the next day, but told me my dress was out of stock. (I read that other customers had the same problem. I think it's a Chinese sweatshop that makes the dress upon order, and they lie saying it's out of stock as an excuse for the long process.) The customer service told me it will take another month to restock, and then another 8-25 business day to ship. At this point, I just didn't care anymore as long as I'd still get the dress in the end. So today the dress was finally shipped to me after more than 2 months (I think I am lucky because according to some of the reviews, some customers never even received their orders), but boy, what a disappointment it is! The dress was so poorly constructed, the seams are crooked. The stripes don't line up, and the silhouette was so unflattering, I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with it beside tossing it into the trash can.

I don't mind waiting for a while for the shipping with such a low price, but seriously this is what I was waiting for? What's the point?!

Please learn from my mistake. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! You will regret it for sure.

So i ordered a dress from dress lily yes i understood standard shipping would take longer but not 2 and a half months! And now that i have it. It doesnt fit me i dont see how this can be an XL its made for someone whos skinny. Oh and i never received a card in my mailbox to go collect it from my post office and when my dad went there to get something for himself my parcel had been sitting there for 2 weeks and i had no idea! Dont order from them its a waste of time and money

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! I ordered 2 shirts, took 4 weeks to arrive - when they arrived they 'Large' (I don't know in what universe these could be determined large - they'd fit a a skinny 8 year old! I lived in Thailand for 2 years and never saw anything quite as small as this for a 'Large') The worst bit is, after my initital contact regarding size, they replied and said i'd have to pay for postage both ways or they'd return 20% of original cost - which isn't great. BUT the worst part is they've completely stopped communicating when asking about shipping costs! Lucky i only spent 30 bucks! Nightmare. DO NOT BOTHER

Absolute GARBAGE! Do not waste your time. Anyone who says anything good for this site/company must work for them! Everything is too good to be true... from the prices to the quality. The material is thin, the stitching is worse, and the service is always an email that goes to spam. Dont even try to return anything as it is impossible. First, there is a 20% restocking fee and not even returnable if you don't pay for the $30 shipping. It takes 5 weeks to get it by then the season to wear it is over. "Swimwear" that I ordered turned out to be crappy lingerie! I am dropping off this $#*! at Goodwill asap. $100.00 is a cheap lesson learned! I wish that I would've seen the reviews before i placed an order.

I'm a quite careful shopper

I'm a quite careful shopper. First time I order from a "new" webshop, I never place an order for a big amount of money. I always have in mind that the order could be lost during shipping. The same for DressLily. In My first order I found the sizes of moste of the clothes to be a bit small, eventhou I did take my measurements cuite carefully. When placing my second and third order I took that in consideration and bought larger sizes. Quality is ok on most items I got, and poor on some items. You can never expect to get really high quality since that is not what you pay for here. A few of the dresses that looked really good on the pictures were hideous and I would never wear them. But that is a risk you are taking when purchasing cheap clothing online. Some of the items I really like. Jewllery and cheap watches are fun. They wont last, and they will scratch easily, but this is the way it will be if you buy stuff that are 10-70 times cheaper than in your ordinary jewlery stores. Some items arrive with stains, scratches, bad smell and in other colours/fabrics than expected. I'm fine with what I get. The Items I don't like, I give to charity. Maybe it can help someone.
