Everyone's seeking the exclusive designer look, but few can afford it. The products at Décor Planet almost look too good to be true. I can assure you, only after purchasing a lot from them to decorate our apartment and others, that everything looks at least as good in person as it does on the site. Finishes and construction are high quality, and products are built to last.
I've rarely called for support, but when I've had, they were very responsive, going beyond to fully remediate the issue.
In summary, great products that make no compromises to the expense alternatives at four times the cost.
I ordered a new showerhead. The service was excellent, the price was good, the shipping was prompt. Overall a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend their site to others.
I needed a part for a Fresca faucet, which, it turns out, is very difficult to find anywhere. My local plumbing supply (large and well stocked) never heard of Fresca faucets. In desperation I called decorplanet.com on the off-chance that they had the part. The site sells the faucet, lists some parts, tho none for Fresca faucets. From the sales person I was transferred directly to the parts salesman. The person on the phone was very helpful in locating the part. He also told me that the problem with the faucet might be a simpler problem than I had thought. In any case, he found the part I asked for, and sent it to me. I recommend the site because, from my experience, the service was excellent. Which seems to me to be a major mark of a very good internet company.
I purchased a vanity, faucet and toilet from decorplanet. After 6 month I had a problem with the toilet but decorplanet was right on top of it to get me a replacement flapper. They have great looking products at great prices. Customer service is great especially Dan G. I recommend them - Tom G
I bought eight doors, handles, vanities for two bathrooms, mirrors etc. James Boylan responded to every call of mine, answered all the questions, got the order right and got me the materials on schedule. The measure of a good business is response to calls after the payment is made. James, always picked up the phone, addressed any questions and send replacements for materials damaged.
I purchased a sink and vanity from DecorPlanet one year ago and was pleased by the experience. I was able to speak with a customer service representative right away and the product arrived on time. The sink itself did need additional work by my contractor as it did not allow for the top drawer to fit it properly. On the (very) positive side, the company replaced the glass piece of faucet for us at no charge a year after it was purchased even thought the chip was due to our own mishap and not a product defect.
I bought everything for 2 bathrooms from Decor Planet in Staten Island. Vanities, mirrors, cabinets, etc. I can't tell you how happy I am with everything. All items are from the Fresco line & are beautiful & well made. I had to deal with customer service for something minor & they were nothing but helpful, they went above & beyond to make me happy. I couldn't have asked for a better transaction. I will absolutely buy from them in the future & will recommend them to anyone!
We enjoyed shopping decorplanet.com and initially loved our shower panel. When we developed trouble with the temperature control, we contacted decorplanet to ask for advice about a local service person. They followed up with questions and ended up sending us replacement parts at no cost. When I got to work trying to replace the part, I had lots of questions, and Dan answered email after email. I purchases the Fresca bathroom vanities for my bathroom remodel. They were shipped in good packaging and arrived on time. I shopped around quite a bit before making my purchase and found that Decorplanet gave me the best deal and service. I would suggest calling in and talking to a sales rep before making your purchase to see if there are any special deals. The reps are very professional and knowledgeable about their products. I would definitely shop at Decorplanet again.
We purchased a vanity from this site and it was exactly what we were looking for. It was looks great in our remodeled bathroom and when we had questions, customer service was extremely helpful.
We could not find our aerator anywhere. When we contact customer service with pictures of our faucet, they were able to locate and reorder the correct aerator for our faucet.
Their product is superior and their customer service even better. Although my product was 3 years old and out of the warranty period they covered the parts with no fee and no questions asked. I will only buy from them in the future.
This company doesn't stand behind the quality of it's product's. A faucet bought from Decor Planet 3 years ago had a part that completely rusted through, causing the faucet filters to fall out.
Instead of offering us to replace this product, like any respectable company would do, the best that they could offer is 15% off if I were to purchase the same product from them again. They told me that the warranty on this product is 1 year, even though majority of other faucet manufacturers have a warranty of at least 5 and in some cases 10 years. Think twice before buying anything from Decor Planet, because if the product breaks or is defective, you're on your own.
If you purchase anything from Décor Planet contact the sales rep Vladimir. He is responsive, caring and will go out of his way to help you. If you get Aliona hang up immediately. She will lie to you about delivery costs. She will misinform you about shipping. She will label one kind of merchandise for another to save themselves cost. They have my returned commodes and my money. The shipper wouldn't pick up the commodes because Ali labeled the commodes under the classification of vanity to save Décor shipping cost. The shipper refused to pick up the commodes. I shipped them back at my cost with Decor's rma # and Décor says they never received them, but one rep won't lie and that's Vladimir. He will steer you right. They received my returned merchandise, never conacted me, never credited my account. My tracking #'s show that Décor did receive my commodes back. Can they legally withhold credit when they received the merchandise. My attorney has asked for pictures of the merchandise. You may need an attorney to purchase anything from Décor Planet in Brooklyn unless you deal directly with Vladimir.
Nice place but impossible to get anyone on the phone. It doesn't make any sense either because it is not a very big store and every time I've been there, there are always 4 or 5 sales people working with not that many customers in the store. They have a crazy automated voice-mail system that seems more appropriate for a 1000 person corporation.
The only place where I could find ALL the pieces I wanted at great prices. The post sales support has been great as well, whether I needed an install manual, tips on best method to install, or buying replacement parts that I (clumsily) broke! Definitely worth checking out.
I found DecorPlanet to have the best selection of contemporary fittings, and we purchased four toilets, three vanities and a sink for two separate house projects. Shipping was fast, everything we received was as shown on the website, and when I needed a replacement part for one of the toilets, I received an immediate reply email. Would highly recommend.
We found DecorPlanet by searching online for modern/contemporary vanities. Nevermind vanities... my fiance and I ended up purchasing our whole bathroom from their from tiles to the shower tub! Unfortunately, there was a slight fracture in the countertop of one of the vanities and the other vanity door had a small discoloraation. What could of turned out to be a nightmare ended up working out effortlessly with the unbelievable customer service at DecorPlanet. My fiance especially raved about the service provided by Alli who went above and beyond to resolve our issues. I would highly recommend DecorPlanet to anyone who wants a stylish and contemporary bathroom!
I would NEVER purchase a thing from Décor Planet again and I will recommend the same to everyone who will listen. We purchased a sink from Décor Planet that literally exploded (a glass sink - not uncommon we learned for glass sinks!). Décor Planet was not willing to refund us for the value of the sink. They offered us a (yes only one option) replacement sink (probably their cheapest one) of a color that would not fit into our design and they wanted us to pay for shipping! When we asked about other options, they were unwilling to help us out. Again, I would NEVER purchase another thing from Décor Planet. Customer service and poor and they do not support the customer once the sale has been made. I CANNOT EVEN GIVE THEM ONE STAR.
