I recently purchased some to-notch bathroom items from Décor Planet, including a new toilet. The items have look great in my house, are made of superior quality, and I definitely recommend their services. My rep, a Mr. James Boylan (I think that is how he spells it), was very helpful throughout the process, and gave me some great tips on using my new items that I would have never known myself.
I ordered a vanity set for our bathroom remodel and we were told that it will be shipped in 4-days. After two weeks we were told that the unit has been back-ordered and will not be shipped till 2 months later. I canceled the order right away since we had to move on with the remodeling and purchased another vanity from a more reliable vendor. Today I checked the status of my order after one month passed our cancellation to make sure it has been canceled and the order status is remained at processing. The customer service has not been getting back to me after sending several emails and chat requests!
Went to Decor Planet's Staten Island showroom to look for a vanity for our powder room. We were impressed with the variety of bathroom vanities that were offered in sets. Had some questions, which were patiently answered by James Boylan, the salesperson in the showroom. He actually was a great help in our decision to purchase this vanity and some accessories.

We recently purchased a vanity, a mirror and shower doors from this company. We were told that the vanity would be delivered in four days which was great because we had to go to bathroom. I received a phone call over a week later telling me that the vanity was not coming till almost 4 weeks later. Meanwhile the only reason why I purchased the vanity there is because of the short shipping time. The sales rep guaranteed that I will receive my product within a couple of days and told me he could rush the order if I pay cash. My husband and I left the store to go to the bank and paid in cash to find that none of her items are being delivered till four weeks later. When I called customer service there was nothing that they could do and told me to pick out another vanity that they have in stock and they could deliver that. I was furious I picked out the vanity that I wanted and I was told it was in stock pretty much the sales replied to make a quick sale and when we spoke to him about the issue he was rude and disrespectful to us. I will never use this company again and I'm still on the edge of possibly canceling my order. Buyer beware for this company!

We purchased about $6000 in products from Decor Planet. Each product arrive at least a week later than we were told and most up to 10 days. The double sink vanity arrived with only one sink and a mirror instead of the medicine cabinet we thought we ordered. The kitchen sink was have at least a week late. The tiles which we love were a week late and we had to order more which were promised by Monday and it is Saturday... no tiles. You cannot get your salesman on the phone. Costumer service is easier but they do not know anything since they did not sell you the products. The delivery is only curbside a fact that neither of the salesmen mentioned and when they products came the two men with the truck refused to even help us get things in the front door of our apartment building which was less than 10 feet away from the truck. Finally when one salesman actually returned an email the same day he insulted me in the email and claimed I had not said I wanted a medicine cabinet even though I remember his telling me that I had to pay more for it which I agreed to do and that if I did not like it I could exchange it easily. I am not sure all these reviews could be real people since every other review page I found had scathing reviews and experiences similar to mine. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY YOUR HOME PRODUCTS. They sell nice products but what you have to go through to get them is not worth any small savings you might make which are few. The delays all of this cause have left our contractor and tile guy in a bind, and we are living with an unfinished job that was estimated to take a week to ten days but we are now going on a month with no end in sight.
Most museum catalogs come in softcover and are little more than selected pictures with minimal text. The only similarity this one has is its low price. A tremendous value, this hardcover book is beautifully printed with many great photos and a well written comprehensive text covering the life of Wharton Esherick and his art, including his painting, woodcuts, architecture, sculpture and furniture (for which he's best known). I suppose the book was written to serve as a souvenir after visiting the museum. It is excellent for that, but for anyone unfamiliar with Esherick's work it is also informative and delightful, and will no doubt inspire them to visit the museum. I had to make another visit after reading it to see the pieces I didn't remember from previous trips.
Wrong toilet color(blamed me), didn't send correct rough in as well; sent new toilet (or so I am told) and couldn't deliver due to snow (I understand) but scheduled delivery two days later, not next day - meanwhile - we are without toilet - they didn't care - so now I hear that the correct rough in isn't coming for several more day!
Ordered drain for pedestal tub on the first of December and received notice that the order had been filled. Waited three weeks for the drain to arrive and then got an email asking if I still wanted the drail?!? Forwarded the notice and then called. All kinds of talking before they took the blame. Promised they would call the vendor to expedite delivery and call me back with an expected delivery date. Still waiting for the call back days later. Not impressed.

Went to this store because their products look great and they are, but the service is only good while you have yet to order anything. Once you do, those nice attentive reps simply disappear. The rep promised that a special tile I ordered would be delivered by a certain day. It wasn't. No one bothered to let me know. I called customer service about it several times, but no one there could tell me if the tile had been shipped to store, to my house, or was even on the way.
Since I had already made an appointment with the installer, I ended up driving to New Jersey to get the tile from a different, more expensive, dealer and had also to pay tolls and gas. A meek apology from the customer service people just wasn't enough. And what is this crap about not having a direct number to the store? Screw this company. Never buying from there again.
I only had problems with them. Stay away from * their manager. He is dishonest and very rude.

I ordered two Vanities and a shower door from Decorplanet.com, I spoke to two salespeople on the phone both were extremely knowledgeable.
I received my vanities within a week, I did have to wait for my shower doors longer but it was fine, they informed me about this in advance.
When the vanities arrived one of the sinks was damaged but Decorplanet took care of it right away! I will definitely use them again!
They were great. I ordered FRESCA glass shelves that arrived immediately. Due to many unforeseen circumstances, my bathroom renovation ran weeks late and by the time the contractor realized the shelves wouldn't be able to be screwed into the glass shower tiles, it was well over the 30 days to return the merchandise. However, I called, and spoke to the lovely Latoya Kelly who was very helpful, and since the merchandise was still in its original packaging, I was able to return it to them for a full refund. No Fuss. Fantastic.
I received a cabinet and it was missing handles. I wrote an email and they were going to upgrade the cabinet and just send it to me. It took me a year to respond, and they still honored their word. Waiting on cabinet now. Customer Service is awesome!
The worst! Do not buy anything from these people. Everybody is so nice when you are buying something, but once it leaves their posession, you are on your own! I have never had anyone try to explain their policies that make no sence than Olina. All she did was talk about how they were going out of their way to help me. Help me? All she did was lie to me. When something feels like it is too good to be true, trust your instincts. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! The best is that they tried to bribe my friend! Will pay him $50.00 to change his negative review on another site to a good one! Anybody want to make a quick $50.00? Write a negative review for Decor Planet. They are so low, that they will bribe you into lying and saying their service is good- Once they contact me, i will do it too! $50.00 is $50.00
The double vanity arrived on time and in good shape (also good price for what it was). No issues during install. 6 months later the faucet started to leak where the cold line connected to the faucet, which due to the construction of the faucet is unreachable. It was over a year, but I emailed customer service (fully expecting a brush off). A few clarifying questions later they sent me a brand new faucet. Unexpected and pleasant level of customer service (hence this review).
