It was a little misleading the way you marketed the contacts. You had a sale price for the boxes, but then tacked on a processing fee that wiped away any savings. I would have been better off buying them from Lens.com or 1800 Contacts. I will not be using Lens King any more.

Recently, we’ve noticed that our competitors have introduced and implemented this tool, used as a means of allowing their upfront display prices on various online advertising channels to appear more competitive. As we know, when a company advertises at a lower price, there is increased traffic to their website. Upon the realization that this strategy was being used, we at Contact Lens King stood firmly against applying such a practice. However, in spite of the fact that we offer the lowest bottom line prices, we experienced a decrease in traffic and total orders. Through re-evaluation, and despite our discomfort, we have made the tough decision to adopt the practice as well. Contact Lens King is firmly committed to offering the lowest bottom line prices online, and we want our customers to rest assured that through us, you will always see significant savings in your pocketbook - even with the fee.

While the price is very cheap, I'm not sure if it's the actual contacts or what but they have been a bit dry/irritating to my eye and I've been wearing contacts for years so the only thing different these past few weeks are the contacts

Recommended site by a family member

Recommended site by a family member. They are my go to for contact orders nowadays. Although their shipping prices have gone up to almost $10 in a matter of less than a year, the efficiency is worth it in my opinion.

I would prefer to see one price that is inclusive of everything when I open up your advertisement on the Internet (so I can easily compare your price to other sellers), than see more additional expenses as I proceed through the purchase process (processing fees, shipping costs, etc.). Also, I received emails giving me an additional discount. I did not utilize any additional discount when I purchased contacts from Contact Lens King. If I am owed a discount that I did not receive, please refund to me the overpayment.

I don't know how I never heard of this company before. The other guys out there are not bad, but their prices are not always competitive and their shipment and customer service is not good. Based on my previous experiences, Contact Lens King is a game changer: easy to order, lots of brands to choose from, unbeatable prices, lightning fast shipment and excellent customer service. I made a mistake placing my order and they contacted me right away and fixed it for me, they even contacted me to check if I had received my order. I'm impressed, thank you!

I have used another website for contacts for many years. The prices were getting too high. I took a chance with Contact Lens King. I'm so glad I did. The price was cut in half and shipping was fast. I will definitely order again

Always come back to Lens King for my contacts, appreciate how up front they are with the "processing" fee, they may not be the cheapest but they don't obscure the true cost until you're deep into the checkout process.

This has been the worst experience with customer service ever. I have had issues shipping my contacts twice now and Contact Lens King refuses to refund me for the package lost in the mail. They also are telling me they can not do business with me anymore and refuse to help the situation in any way possible. Even to let me purchase another box. I'm going to dispute the charges with my bank. Truly the poorest quality customer service I have ever had to deal with.

Avoid at all costs
October 28, 2021

Ordered contacts in April. Paid. Then contact Lens king said there was a delay due to manufacturer. Then they said it was shipped on 08/10. It's now September. Called due to not receiving they said credit card did not go through and I have to place a new order. Nothing wrong with card and no emails to this effect. Not worth the hassle and lack of professionalism.

I oversaw a processing fee (~250$) I have never had. The company stated it's a new fee their competitors are doing as well. Disappointing and in what world does it cost 250 to process an order with todays logistics and supply chain models.

HI Blake. We do apologize the processing fee is something we have had for some time now associated with our google sale items. The fee is a percentage of the order and was implemented to off set any overhead cost we might encounter.

Ordering was easy, but service fee was a surprise. Took time to comparison shop and Contact King was still cheapest.
Would have preferred boxes be labeled since I have different scripts for each eye.
Also think delivery should have been faster. Placed order on Saturday and received shipping notification the following Friday. UPS delivered on Wednesday despite paying for 2-day shipping.

We apologize it took a few to ship, unfortunately we did not have the product in stock for immediate shipment it did take a few days to receive in prior shipment.

I know that it's standard in your industry, but it is still wrong to hide the actual price of the contacts. I feel cheated. Contact Lens King and the other online retailers selling contact lenses all have shady business practices. 4 boxes of lenses were $76, plus $13 shipping and a $75 "processing" fee. Why not just tell me 4 boxes of lenses were $165. My optometrist did, so they get my lens purchase business from now on, even if they charge more. I won't support the deception anymore.

Generally positive. With contact lens buying, I think it sucks that sites have great advertised prices for the item and then tack on huge processing or shipping fees, and then have an assortment of discount codes you have to go hunting for. This site is no exception.

The practice of advertising a low lead price on google search results, and then tacking on large handling fees at point of purchase is misleading. Looks like most of your peer competitors do the same, so I guess its an industry practice..

Difficult to figure out how to reorder, especially with a new RX. I had to call and have Marcus walk me through. Lots of information on website--not "user friendly." Marcus did a great job tho!

I wish the product had Right and Left in boxes. Or some easy way to identify which eye as the RX is different for each eye.

Unfortunately you can not edit a reorder, you would need to start shopping and reselect the brand and enter in the updated rx. We will also pass the information along to our web developer to see if they can make that a little more user friendly.

It was pretty easy. Fine overall. If I remember right, shipping costs were not made clear until late in the process of purchasing. Made it seem like I was getting contacts for much cheaper than what I paid (including shipping). It's OK to be upfront about shipping costs. Customers would appreciate that.

Price is great, but is it worth damaging your eyes by receiving contact lenses that are 3+ years old? Definitely not.
Reach out to customer service, and they offered to swap 2 out of the 4 boxes I ordered. Why not all 4? Sent them all back with my expense to ship. They end up refunding me partially excluding my initial shipping fee.
Unexceptable business service when I had to waste my expense both ways to receive old contact lenses that were stocked for 3+ years. I have shopped many other lens company and they always provided the most up to date stock.

Love these contacts and at the end of the day they do have the best bottom line pricing but do note that the prices listed in their marketing are inaccurate, as they recoup much of the cost through an enormous processing fee that is tacked on right before you hit submit on your order.

I have no idea what goes on at this company or if it's fraudulent, but I have been waiting for a month and no lenses. They said the lenses shipped but the tracking says ''pending package acceptance' which means they just created a shipping label but never brought anything to the post office. That's fraud. I hope I can get my money back and now, back to AC Lens...
