Misleading Information

Stay away from this bank. They will mislead you with their offers. This bank does not offer conflict resolution. Also their customer service is horrendous.

It took TWO MONTHS for the customer service at the bank to directly tell me what was wrong with my card, instead, they transferred me from department to department to department and ran me in circles before finally getting me to the right person two months later, which by then it was too late.

Chase Bank software program online is terrible and not user friendly. Zelle never works, tried to wire money, that never works. I've had to call 3 times with questions regarding wire transfers. Question: Why does the computer automatically populate the address field with an address then turn around and ask for an address again? I called the recipient, and depending on who you talk to said the address doesn't matter on a wire transfer. If the address is not important, and I input a routing # to recipient, which address is correct? I called the recipient, I now have THREE DIFFERENT ADDRESSES! So WHO KNOWS if this wire transfer will go through... THEN, when it came time for the wire transfer, the system would NOT allow me to wire transfer from my savings, in which case Chase customer service reps couldn't answer my question: Can I wire transfer from my savings? The answer is NO. I freaking give up.

Never have I been so disrespected and ran around aimlessly from department to department and hung up on by specialists. Not customer service but their specialists. All regarding a possible fraudulent issue involving my online banking account due to possible fraud deposit into my account. Initially they advised me they were putting a hold on my account to protect us both. Then, next thing you know they decide to completely close my account. Even after being a valued customer for years and never having one incident with many direct deposit checks into their bank during all that time. Not only that though, they then give me a hassle pushing me from department to department or hanging up on me multiple times just to do it all again with attempting to take out my own money from D. D. So that I can pay my bills with my new account elsewhere. LOL well looks like my last direct deposit which was a bonus from my employment, won't even reach me for another week. Making that 2 weeks since they closed my account. Plus, giving me the ring around before actually closing my account to get my direct deposit I've continuously had with them for years. Was told multiple times it was closed and 5 days later still had to close it! Let's hope it's truly closed so I can receive my DD now finally SMH... RIDICULOUS!

I been a chase customer for more than 10 years and today i took my sister to open a new checking account to the chase bank on Rome Hilliard Rd in Columbus, Ohio the person at the counter said "do you have an appointment otherwise we cannot help you and if you are not a citizen we cannot help you either" i never said i was from another country she profiled me from the moment i came in, i then asked how can i make an appointment and she said "go online and find the information you need in there " and we left she was rude

What an unprofessional, lazy, and disrespectful organization. We have four young boys and my money is ding ding ding, that's right, in my account. However, you froze my entire account, including access for both my wife and I. I can't buy groceries or get gas. Money that is mine is now under lock and key. Oh yes, it's a weekend too, and I can't get anyone on the line. I wasn't even contacted, frozen, and none of our cards work. Real nice chase, so much for our family weekend. Bunch of scumbags, I love that I deployed 8 times to return to this type of crap. I HATE JP MORGAN CHASE and I hope nothing but horrible things for this company. What is wrong with you and why do you do this to hard working Americans? What a disgrace, I will be closing everything with you. You stole from me and are making us eat Ramen until I get in the face of the local office first thing Monday. This is to try and get this message out more for all to know truthfully though, your quality is equal to the white stuff that accumulates at the side of your mouth when you get very thirsty.

This is the absolute WORST bank to get a loan from. I am due to have brain surgery next month and have always been told by the representatives that if I ever need help with making my payment to ask, they have many options. So today I called and asked for them to defer a couple payments to the end of my loan be cause I will not be able to work for 6-12 weeks after my brain surgery and won't be able to make the payments. They won't help! They want me to surrender my car back to them so I won't have a car after my surgery to get back to work. I will never get another loan through this bank. EVER! And I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Not even to someone I can't stand. CHASE BANK DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!

I opened a new business this January after banking with Chase personally for over 30 years. Their "concierge" never answered his phone. Never contacted my accountant to get him approval to access the accounts, and the only piece of information he provided was incorrect. The bank itself insisted that any money transfers over $100K had to be done in person. That's untenable for my business. Then, in the past two weeks they have locked my account twice for "suspicious activity". No warning. No questions about whether I recognize a transaction. Didn't even tell me they HAD locked it. I found out when I tried to get access. The first time I had to wait on hold for OVER 90 minutes so they could ask me if I was aware that once I sent the money I couldn't get it back, and what the transaction was for. The second time I simply moved all my money to another bank. Oh, by the way. That second one was ME sending money to MYSELF. And was clearly visible to anyone looking at the transaction. Idiots. Poorly trained idiots.

I have had the worst experience I had ever in my life with any banking institutions, their customer service is horrible and unprofessional to deal with some of them they don't good English to communicate with the customer.

The worst come when I deposited a check and they withdraw the funds from wells forgo bank and they said they going to put hold on the check for twelve days and they will release after that they don't have any genuine reason to hold this check the same thing happened to one of my friend from chase he purchased a truck from someone and wrote a check to him they released the funds to the seller after two days they debited his account and took back the money the seller got mad with the buyer and when the buyer went to chase bank they could not tell any good reason why they took back the from and told him to write an other check to seller which is pull$#*! to do so he as to pay him with cashier check and they charge him $10 dollars to issue cashiers check this people are greedy and money hungry.

I'm afraid they are going to file a bankruptcy soon so avoid banking with them if you want have access and freedom with your hard earned money.

I'm an owner operator I worked for these money day and night so it didn't come easy way and tax payers should be mistreated by this horrible bank. Avoid your is yours not their Should not control you money how you use and when to use it.

Chase is a horrible bank!

Today I tired logging into my Chase app. Come to find a message stating, "We've locked your account due to to unusual activity!" NO there is no unusual activity, NO I don't do any unusual transfers, NO I don't do any illegal transactions! Called them for some explanation to why my account is locked. Customer service rep told me my account has been closed they will mail me a cashier check. She stated, Chase bank has the right to close any account and doesn't need to provide any information to why. Told her, I want to to speak to a supervisor.

He was the worst supervisor with bad feedback. Telling me that, Chase has the right to refuse anyone without any explanation or justification. Pissed me off, I couldn't help but I cursed him out. I do all my bills with online banking. I justified that to him. However, he didn't care whatsoever! Told me that yes, your bills are going to bounce. What a complete $#*!.

Actually they're doing me a favor. I will never bank with Chase again. People, don't bank with Chase! They're a horrible company. Go somewhere else. Save you same bad experience.

On August 5th 22 I did a wire to my nephew who is starting school in Montreal, today is 18th still didn't reach the destination, I called several times Chase by my surprised they don't have access to the wire department only by email. I requested phone number and street address, they don't have it, I went to the branch no help their, they told they will research it but after insisting they gave me a number for executive branch where they told me they will investigate so, I am in limbo the wire was for 10k Canadian which 7k us and the money no where to be located. An executive called me today she said it will take 4 to 5 days because they are back up, I ask to be recompensed for the lack access to my fund she told me no. Extremely disappointed with chase I have been banking with them for years, this is going to be a change since I am closing my account and going to bank of America. NO MORE CHASE

I financed my home in 2006 with Chase Bank and I never had a problem with them so I opened a personal and business checking account as well as two credit cards. Everything was as expected until this year when I decided to refinance our home. I made an application with Chase to refi and after 30 days John Gay, their home mortgage expert, advised me that he could not refi our home. I have never been late on a payment. Never bounce the check. Possess an excellent credit score. I feel as if they are biased against us as we are a same-sex married couple. I contacted Quicken Loans Rocket Mortgage the same day and closed successfully within two weeks. I moved my business checking to another bank due to the dissatisfaction and closed business checking account. Chase continues to hold that account open as there is a reoccurring monthly charge that Chase nor I can identify and now they're charging me late fees, overdraft fees, other fees, and refuses to close the account. What do I need to do to close the Chase account permanently? One by one I am slowly removing all of my accounts from this Bank and fear for the worst outcome. Chase Banks is extremely unprofessional in the way they manage their accounts.

The vibe still exist at certain bank, your money is welcome don't expect any more. Very distant, non-relational and inconsiderate, if you want quality skip Chase, especially in person.

Tl;dr I'm keeping my credit card just to avoid a credit hit and will cancel my checking and savings AS SOON AS THEY'RE OPEN.

Chase Credit Cards: Use of the card is great. No issues with them blocking legitimate transactions. Chase Website for Booking travel on is garbage. When you can get it to work, it's a site where you have to book very much in advance. If you're booking hotels for anything within 30 days, you'll end up regretting your choice of getting Chase for a travel card.

$50 hotel credit every cycle but must be purchased through chase ultimate rewards AND then you don't even get your points for that hotel purchase. It's great that they give you an entire cycle to use, but still incredibly hard to use due to their site. And even if you manage to, they have that dumb stipulation so you're forced to make 2 reservations. One for one night to get the credit, and then another for the rest of the time or you just threw away your 5X points.

Very specific bonus points and bonuses e.g. 3X points on online grocery orders... like what? And what was it, instacart membership I think? Okay, not helpful either.

Checking Accounts: $200 bonus is nice. And that's where the positives end. Funds availability policy says one thing. But in my experience bank to bank transfers take about a week to occur. That's entirely too long and very frustrating.

Any questions you ask will be met with very generalized answers that aren't helpful and I've needed to contact them 3 times on average to have a single question answered to my dissatisfaction.
