$84,500,000,000 Exits JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo and Citigroup in Three Months As Depositors Take Flight
Three of America's biggest banks just watched $84.5 billion worth of deposits disappear in a single quarter.
JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo and Citi all recorded an outflow of deposits in Q3, according to each bank's most recent reports.
JPMorgan Chase's new Q3 earnings report details a $31 billion decrease in deposits from $2.387 trillion to $2.356 trillion. Wells Fargo reported a $7.1 billion decrease from $1.3474 trillion to $1.3403 trillion, while Citi recorded a $46.4 billion drop from $1.3199 trillion to $1.2735 trillion.
I am sorry but Chase Bank is losing many business customers in Charlotte, NC and the Carolinas including myself, Valerie Bocz.
Reason: I sent a complaint to Jamie Dimon, President and CEO of Chase Bank concerning a Chase Bank Credit Card FRAUD with Israeli companies on 9/28. I also sent a complaint to the following: Executive Office (Mail Code OH4-7120), 3415 Vision Drive, Columbus, OH 4321. This was a waste of time and effort.
That you make obscene profits, so be it. That you freeze Dr Mercola & family accounts…unacceptable! I recommend that all of your clients remove their funds from your bank immediately
On 8/10/22 I submitted a transaction for $2,000 for deposit into my Chase Checking account. The deposit was an ACH from Navy Federal Credit union. The transaction was made to cover my son's tuition and is/has been held by Chase Bank with not explanation. I was told on several occasions that the issue would be resolved. Only to be transferred time after time. The funds were available and verified by Navy Federal, but Chase refused to make them available. When I asked to close my remaining accounts I was lied to and told it could only be done in a location. Only to later be told it could be by phone. My son is now ineligible to begin classes. This is the second transaction this month Chase has held. The first being an Escrow check from PNC Financial. I was given a similar experience. Chase seems to have a policy of harassment on minority accounts that they feel exceed their comfort. I want this financial harassment to STOP. It's essentially the electronic equivalent of calling the cops on the black man for depositing a check. I want this rectified and Chase to end this practice against my accounts and the accounts of others they deem too BLACK to have healthy Bank accounts.
I wrote a post dated check
I had money pending automatic deposit
Chase denied my check knowing I had money being deposited. Didn't wait 5 hours to deny when money was deposited
ABSOLUTELY REFUSED TO HELP
WORST BANKING CUSTOMER SERVICE
GO ANYWHERE ELSE
I opened a business checking account. Chase is still.holding a deposit that cleared 2 days ago. When I called they said they could take up to 5 days to release it. Horrible customer service!
Chase.com is a great site because it is so easy to use. You can review all your transactions, pay bills and link your different accounts. I use the bill payment service and love it.
I never write any review my whole life but this is my first time writing a review because I am very upset about the way they talk to their customer! I was asking if they have a feature that I could check my balance because it used to show on the app that has been taken off. The agent was NOT even LISTENING to what I said and kept on saying "MA'AM YOU NEED TO CHECK YOUR BALANCE". I knowI have to check for my balance but I am asking for the FEATURE! JUST LISTEN! They were very disrespectful toward customer. I would not recommend!
I had a 30 year old matured EE US Savings Bond and the clerk at the Chase Bank Branch in Castle Rock, CO made an error in processing the bond and then just told me I would have to mail it into the US Treasury for redeemed it which takes up to 90 days. They admitted the error but put the burden to fix it on me. I showed them the US Treasury validation on the serial number with the value shown but they still refused to honor the redemption of the bond.
I have contacted chase dispute department 85 times and my issue still has not been resolved. I have only reached. People from Pakistan and other countries and Noone speaks english
After banking fir 26 years my account was hacked $6500 … After secure messaging back and forth they denied my claim to get my money back… do not use chase bank
Really bad experience. Chase charged and withdraw my daughter $800 from her account for a transaction fee with out letting her know about a payment fee.
Wouldn't let me link account to cashapp or paypal. New ATM's are clunky and crash frequently. Savings rate is almost nothing for average consumers like me.
Review Long Overdue The Worst Bank You Could Possibly Go With.
If you like being given absolutely no valid answers for why your $ isn't refunded in your account when you have literally Ebay, Paypal, and some random card creditor & an official physical receipt showing you shipped an item out - all saying / showing valid proof that $ should be there and its not. Maybe you have a problem customer with an expensive item you sold and its out of your hands. Maybe fraudulent identity theft charges. Where's the actual support when you have all this proof pointing that something should be done but they don't do anything. Giant time wasters. They will harass you like crazy even 6+ yrs later and ruin your credit even after you've established that you paid everything off and closed the account. It's as if that was never done at all, poof, $ I paid disappeared into thin air right. &How nice that they bill you every month.
I'm the official Extramillions top results of google, of twitch TTV, domain owner of that and 30 domains - a work in progress. They're harassing the wrong person. Let me tell you.
Absolutely worst bank to deal with they lie and won't honor what is said. Will be closing every acnt including all bussiness acnts and ira absolutely horrible customer service... DONE...
This bank said that they could block my credit card from a merchant but they lied and a charge of $188.00 went threw to my card and I spoke with Anett at customer Serbians they she was rude and told me I must pay this
I contacted the CEO and they just won't respond
When I show up at mr Dimond house then they will wake up.
My Chase Ink credit card bill was due on Sunday 12/23/18 but due to the holiday season, I realized on that date that I had not paid it - & my credit score is high 800's so I really want to keep that situation. My husband used Chase's own online banking system to pay the balance on the due date. I just got a bill with a $15 late fee + interest, even though the payment was shown credited on 12/23 on the new statement.
Now, of course I am crazy busy like everyone else & extremely ANGRY at having to take TIME out of my schedule to make a very unpleasant call to their customer "service" line & go thru the hassle of reading off all my info (at least once!).
I called and said if they don't waive the fee & interest, I want the account closed immediately because this is not the way to treat a customer - especially since banks spend tons of money trying to obtain new customers in this very profitable area of their business!
So the curt impersonal rep, "Elizabeth", claims she is "helping" me by telling me how I can avert this problem by paying online early because CHASE'S OWN SYSTEM doesn't credit the same day (even though it could easily do so and has the use of our money). I said I didn't ask for ways that I could improve myself, I'm the customer, and Chase should not be charging a fee in that situation regardless. She used an official tone of voice on me and tried to quickly closed the conversation - very rude! I said, I am not done yet. Tell me exactly how much you have credited to my account. After she told me, I said, "NOW, we're done!"
They canceled my account without a reason, and cost me time and money. Don't bank there. There rude over the phone, and don't have people ho speak English very good.
When you go down to your bank and you ask Chase if your bank account can handle a wire transfer of $200,000 and you tell me yes and then when that money supposed to get wired it doesn't make it into the bank because you lied to me and I had a secure bank account and not a checking account like I asked to have so the delay costing me $5000 so the bank cost me five grand because of incompetent employees they can't make sure you have the right kind of account to transfer money into two employees face-to-face lied to me and now I'm $5000 out because I know you don't give a damn cause you're bankers but everything comes around a full circle swing
BEWARE OF CHASE BANK!
They are the biggest scammers they will freeze or terminate you whenever and however they feel with no warning or reasonable cause I do do NOT suggest anyone get a bank account, if you do I advise you do your research first and fine read your contract
I did like Chase in the past, their site is really easy to use. But I made a transfer to an outside account of $4,000 and they called me to make sure it was me. I didn't want to give information over the phone so they told me to log into my account and approve it, which I did.
Two days later I tried to log into my account and it was locked due to suspicious activity and gave me a phone number to call. I called Chase's main number instead in case my page was hacked. They asked for my account information and my debit card number. I don't use my debit card often so I have no idea where it is.
There was no other way for them to confirm my identity (seriously?) unless I reported my debit card lost. So I was transferred to another department. They confirmed recent transactions and ordered me a new card. Then transferred back to the first department.
So now I'm on the line waiting for them. This is so frustrating. I've been on the line 22 minutes so far because I'm locked out and there's no way for them to verify my identity. I'm thinking of moving my checking, savings, and credit card account to another bank.
Answer: Offered as a finance for auto loan... I am seriously thinking of changing banks..
Answer: Because they can and they don't care. The customer service outside of the branch is non-existent. They truly don't care about anything other than the amount of money they can collect from the interest they can collect from our money.
