Stay away from this company. After the writer produced a resume that looked like it was for another person, had nothing to do with the stated job position and used terrible word choice and grammar, I asked for a new writer. Although I granted the writer another chance, he basically gave me the same resume, so I asked again for a new writer. They agreed, so I waited two weeks and got nothing. They never passed it on! When I asked for my money back, they made me produce a list of violations even after knowing what happened. I took the time to detail the issues and they only offered me 30% and at some point 40% in the dozens of emails that went back and forth. This was theft - they took my money without producing a resume. When they told me my case was closed, I told them I would contact my credit card company. They seemed scared and offered another 20%. Never a full refund and kept asking me to submit another list of violations which I already had done. Totally unprofessional company with support staff that clearly do not communicate with each other or know how to communicate (whether verbal or written) with clients. Do not waste your money or time with this sham of a company. I only wish I had read these reviews first as as there seems to be a definite pattern with those experiencing problems like mine. NOTE: They will probably respond to this review just like the others - to submit my complaints for Quality Assurance to review - and to accept their sincerest, kindest apologies. This had been done.

For a present, I ordered my husband a resume rebuild to get his military life put into civilian terms. Based on the reviews I went ahead with this company.

Day one: ordered all I wanted
Day two: nothing
Day three: 5 missed calls to my number but no message and when you call the number they want you to put the calling card number in. 9 pm phone rings and this foreign woman states that I did not order the linked in profile for $99 more, I should so it is easier for the writer. I said call me tomorrow I am in no mood to talk about this now.
Day four: no call, I call, I explain that I have not yet heard from my writer, but a lot of energy has gone into me paying more money. 28.27 minutes later and a lot of begging on their end they finally canceled my order. I feel like this is a scam at the very best. I would be willing to bet that the reviews on here that are 5 stars are paid reviews. No company should operate like this. We were being bullied into buying more products, then told not all the products are available, with no resolution, then kept going in circles until finally with the threat of a lawsuit they refunded me the money.

STAY AWAY THIS IS A SCAM!

I ordered the full package. It's been 16 days and I have nothing usable. The writer first simply reformatted what I sent. When I complained she said it was just a draft even though it said the order was completed. She then put more effort into it, but it was full of grammatical errors, information that had nothing to do with the job I was applying for, and things that the writer simply made up that had nothing to do with me nor the job. They called me, did a full interview, and it seemed promising. The writer just changed the format again, didn't proofread, and many of the sentences made absolutely no sense let alone had any sort of flow. She then asked me to specify the grammar that was incorrect! Asking me to proofread it for her! Things I pointed out that needed to be changed and even typed out what should be there instead, she didn't do! She asked for extensions multiple times, I granted them, and she never fixed anything. Now, it's 16 days later, the job posting is gone, and I still have nothing. They said they'd refund my money after I threatened calling my bank, but they also said everything would be fixed and they'd assign a new writer, neither of which happened. Save your money, go somewhere else. This company needs to get their act together because they're currently garbage.

Overall the writer did an acceptable Resume, KSA, and Cover Letter. All 3 had instances of missing letters. However, I was able to correct all, and now I am very pleased.

This service is a scam. I submitted an executive resume on 06/23/19 with specific instruction under the 3-day turnaround order after communicating with a customer service rep who assured me they were experienced at writing executive resumes. Not only was the resume returned to me worse than the one that needed updating from 10 years ago but it also had a typo on a company name. After a rewrite that turned out worse, I requested a refund on 07/06/19 and they sent me multiple requests to allow them to fix the problems. The resume became worse with the revisions and was reduced from 2 pages to a 1.5 pages with nothing that showed it to be a resume for an executive with multiple accomplishments. Now, they only want to give a 50% refund because they say there are discrepancies between my initial request and the resume they sent me. Of course there are because they didn't follow the request.

On top of that, no where on their website and in the order process do they notify you they aren't an American company so you get hit with an international fee for the transaction. According to my bank, it is fraudulent if a seller does not disclose it is an international transaction.

In summary, I'm almost 2 months into this with no updated professionally designed resume.

The good news is the resume they created was better than my version, though it did have typos and a grammar error. And if I'm being honest, I misinterpreted their re-write policy. You see, all others I researched offered a re-write if either 30 or 60 days went by with no interview. Makes sense. Give the resume time and if you don't get bites, try again. Their policy is a head-scratcher: If you don't get a bite within 30 days, they'll rewrite it. After that, you get nothing. So you could only go a week, not get an interview and demand a re-write. Yeah, that caught me off-guard.

Now my mistake was getting CB mixed up with another. I would have sworn they were a company offering the re-write after 60 days (which would actually seem to be the least lenient policy). When I went to them after 60 days, I was flat-out told no.

They then, of course, suggested I buy another! I admit I'm partially to blame since I didn't review the policy. It's why I won't give fewer stars. However, they are to blame for a lack of empathy (especially for someone going through unemployment to begin with) and a greedy response.

And, while ultimately the buck stops with me for failing to identify the re-write policy, then the same ultimate responsibility falls with them for creating a resume that didn't work even after two months. It was better, but I suggest other companies could do better still. I'd seek them out.

The resume writer was very knowledgeable when it came to the IT industry. They communicated well with me, and I have used this service twice and will continue to use it in the future.

Ordered a CV writing here, and got several job offers already. This team is good in CV writing. Yet, I didn't like the design of my CV, however, it was not expensive and I got it in time.

If I had it to do again, I would use a local resume writing service and pay a little more for a one on one service with a person. Thier customer service is 24/7... however the writer is not. Working a night shift made it difficult to schedule the interview that worked for my schedule. You can however shoot messages back and forth on their board.

I explained that I was looking for a resume "make over" 3 times before it sunk in and that I was currently not looking for a position... as one of my tasks was to provide a job listing. The service feels more geared to early career/job seekers based on the questions I was asked over the phone and on the message board. It didn't feel like the uploaded resume I sent them was reviewed prior to the questions I was asked. When the interview went off script, it was clear that the interviewer wasn't the writer and that was a little disappointing. I understand it is a business... however, it felt very mechanical in nature from start to finish.

They are cheaper than other sites and local places that I looked at. It just felt disconnected from start to finish and maybe the message board as the primary vehicle for communication isn't for me.
