It may sound absurd but I bought upwards of $7000 worth of GCs from them in the past couple years and always had exceptional experience. Only twice I received bad GCs which they corrected immediately after sending them an email without any hassles.

I like to purchase giftcards primarily for myself, as a way of increasing my overall discount at establishments/sites from which I frequently purchase.

CardCookie is one of the primary sites that I use for this. They usually have the best deals in the secondary GC market.

Once you have established yourself with them, digital cards arrive almost immediately.

I would guess that 1 in 50 cards or so have not turned out correctly. Customer service response is immediate, and solution is always at least acceptable, sometimes above and beyond (usually replacement GC for equal or more than the missing GC value).

I don't have experience with selling to them, but based upon the speed and quality of their communication and fairness of their dealing with me as a buyer, I'd fully expect that to be good as well.

Multiple purchases were made and then cancelled saying there was a problem verifying my payment. There problem then is the money shows up pending in my account (meaning it isn't a verifying payment problem) and then it takes multiple days for you to get your money back.

I already fully verified my credit card info, including PIN, and also my phone number. What more do you need to verify for a simple gift card purchase with a puny <$10 discount? 2 days after my purchase with full verification of my credit card, home address and phone number, I get an email asking me to upload my ID!

I tried taking pics of my ID on multiple devices, and it keeps complaining that the document is blurry, etc. even though the document is crystal clear! Also, this whole process is too intrusive and ridiculous for a simple gift purchase using a valid, easily verifiable credit card!

I refuse to share my ID documents, and personally identifiable information, etc. over the internet, to be stored forever and abused by random websites, all for a simple gift card purchase! And that too 2 days after verifying my phone, my credit card number, etc.!

You should have been upfront about all these ridiculous and useless hoops you are trying to make me jump through! For a simple gift card purchase! What a waste of time and energy! And that too 2 days after my purchase! You either don't want to do business or you are running some fraud scheme to steal people's hard earned money, and their identities!

Just refund the money to my credit card ASAP! If I don't see my money refunded back on my credit card within 1 business day, I will file a claim with my credit card company.

My first order took a while to come to me which was disappointing but finally came through and no problem. They said it might be because of my Yahoo email so I use my Gmail and then they were trying to ask me to verify documentation by uploading bills and such to verify my identity. This is a red flag for me especially since I use the same credit card less than 24 hours. I have email them waiting for a refund or the actual card that I paid for but I will not be using this site again.

Card cookie is just absolutely terrible. They made a mistake when i bought a 500 dollar card and it had no balance. After weeks of going back and forth with thier trash customer service i was eventually granted a refund. Ever since then if I try and buy a gift card they send me an email saying cant verify payment. They clearly just wanna ban me from the site for calling them on the wrong. Instead of telling me this they just lie and make stuff up. Be very careful when dealing with card cookie. Theres a reason why no one else has cards close to this price... its because something nefarious is going on.

I've used Raise, Cardpool, etc. CardCookie has the best prices. Getting set up is not as complicated as some say.

The whole point of a e-card for someone is to get it to them electronically and ergo, faster. However, I purchased a gift e-card from CardCookie and they said: Thank you for purchasing your new gift cards! "This email serves as confirmation of order number ****-***** for $____. Cards will be sent as a gift to_____(email) after we are done reviewing the order." Well I questioned what's to review? The card I paid with was good, it was accepted and the e-card should have gone out. Twenty-four hours later and giving them all the bad reviews I could while trying fruitlessly to reach them, I call my bank and disputed and stopped the payment. Never again!

The have a $500 limit/day on purchases. But they dont' tell you that and just cancel your order and blame you saying they couldn't confirm some information.
Then they email you saying they need your drivers license front and back AND your photo.
Then they tell you that's not good enough, they need a photo of utility bill in your name.
You gotta be kidding me! All that to save $30? Screw that. What happens when get hacked and all your personal information is out on the web? Stay away from this sketchy business.

I had previously used another discount gift card site but they got swallowed up by retailmenot so i wanted to try another one and found cardcookie. I hadn't used them before and was naturally skeptical. I ordered 2 Cabela's giftcards (100.00 and 15.00). After I placed my order almost instantly I received an email about my order and to confirm some information which I thought was a nice added protection. Received another email that the order had been confirmed with the info requested and then about roughly 2-hours later I received my email with the 2 cards and links to their details. I applied them to my online order at Cabela's.com and they went through nooo problem! Cardcookie IMO is a great site for discounted cards and will definitely be going back for more! Thank you card cookie!
