At first I thought the $150 was high, but went for the ad any way, I sold in no time at all. I recommend.
After signing up with Howard to the boatsfsbo program my phone started ringing and after a few showings had my 46'sportfisher in a sales/purchase contract and without paying a brokers commissions! Granted that nothing is free in this world his small fee was well worth the results!, Jeffb
Howard Solow was my advisor, very helpful and courteous and the process was painless sold my boat in no time. I would do it again.
I worked with Andy to list my boat, who was familiar with my brand. Andy assisted me with the listing and establishing fair pricing. I sold my boat after one week of the listing and had several other people wanting it. I highly recommend BoatsFSBO.
I was referred to BoatsFSBO by a friend of mine that had no luck selling his boat for months locally and through social media. He sold his boat in a matter of weeks after listing it with BoatsFSBO.
Howard did everything he promised he would do, and the boat got sold in two weeks! I absolutely recommend his services and I will use them again in the future.
I found BoatsFSBO thirty years ago. In that time period I have used them to sell three boats. BoatsFSBO was easy to contact and replies back quickly.
We highly recommend BoatsFSBO! After months sitting on yacht world with no lookers, another sailor recommended this site. It was so easy to do and Howard was so fun to work with. Within 2 days we had phone calls and email inquiries about our 49' Jeanneau. The world wide reach of this site was incredible! Couldn't have done it without this website! I'm a fan!
We had a unique boat to sell and BoatsFSBO made it happen. They were responsive, easy to deal with, and their platforms produced many calls and viewings!
Please take my 34' sailboat off your site. We had close to 20 inquiries and at least 7 of those were potential sales. Worth the investment. Thanks.
Listed the boat in July and sold it this week. Got several calls and questions. This was the one of the best boat selling decisions and experiences that one could have. I highly recommend BFSBO.
Our boat sold 3 wks after listing. It was essentially sold a week earlier, but holidays, travel, etc. held it up. I don't think a day passed that I haven't gotten at least one inquiry about it. Showed it abt a dozen times. BoatsFSBO did the job for me and next time I need to sell a boat, be sure I'll be back. I probably could have asked a higher price, boats are selling well, the Covid-10's help.
I was quite pleasantly surprised by the sheer volume of interested buyers and a number of them were serious about making actual offers following showings of the boat. The boat was sold to the buyer who made a full price offer immediately after a showing.
I had listed my 1960 Mariner Deluxe Utility (woodie) on Craigslist and a stranger sent me a message suggesting I reach out to BoatsFSBO because they'd been very happy with the service themselves. I filled out a profile on the site and within minutes got a call from Andy Young who in turn got me set up in a flash. That was two weeks ago and the boat is already sold (new owners picked it up today). BoatsFSBO's ultra-modern approach did the trick. I'm so pleased that I will likely pass along the good advice I received from a stranger ("pay it forward," as they say).
A shout out to the FSBO guys for helping me sell my boat. Easy to work with and seamless. I will use you guys again and recommend you to my friends.
After doing some research I hesitantly reached out to use this service. After considerable thought I knew it was worth the risk.
Today - The sale was amazing and easily was reached to many people. I had interacted over the course of the posting with somewhere between 100 to 200 people. I sold my PWC and have heard from the new owner about their passion for the PWC.
The system that is in-place for BoatsFSBO was designed with much thought. The process eliminates the need for a seller to reach out, post 40+ Ads on 40+ different sites and collectively review each site for any feedback.
The ONE CON - Postings with contact information does leave the door open for the Nefarious Audience. Meaning, in short - people trying to steal from you and not pay you. I purposefully use a Google number which gives me far more control.
Working with BoatsFSBO was easy. Inquiries started about a day after listing was live. Sold the boat for asking several days later!
Andy, thank you for helping us sell our Key West 1900 CC Sportsman. We've been trying for over two years through craigslist and social media posts to sell our boat and with you we sold in 3 weeks! Your site boat questionnaire is easy to use and your communication and quick followup made it a joy to work with you. Tom in Maryland
I was able to sell my boat through boats for sale by owner. I received many inquiries. I received calls from all over the states closest to me. Thanks to Andrew Yunger for contacting me originally.
Not really sure what Jodie's role is at boatsFSBO.com. We hired her to list our boat 3-4 months ago. Since then she has cold called me twice to see if our boat is still available... the same sales technique she used the first time we spoke. When I tell her she already has our listing she just hangs up. I'll call her back to discuss and she ignores my calls. Is this good customer service? This site seems more of a scam than it is helpful.
Jodie's number is *******780 if you need to file a complaint yourself.
Made the mistake of placing an add last year. Got no responses. Sold the boat on my own locally. Called and asked to have the add removed. He tried to take credit for the sale and to this day, eight months later, the add is still running.
Answer: I called the 800 number and they removed it the next day
