Terrible cheap tiny plastic handles that are more of an unsteady finger pull.
Figured I got what I paid for, cheap blinds, awful customer service... Ordered the rest of my shades from Select Blinds. Couldn't believe the quality difference between the two companies. Side by side the quality and construction was no comparison. The molded handle from Select Blinds fit my hand vrs two fingers and gives a much easier glide with no sagging or tension on the blind. I was amazed at the difference in quality of just the handle itself, it truly made the difference. On top of a quality handle, it honestly gives the blind a rich quality finish. Price difference between the two companies was pretty close, paying the $8.00 dollar difference was the best decision for me.
I placed an order on 12/09/19. Order said estimated 7-9 business days for production. Also stated could be delays because of increased orders during the holiday season. It has been 17 business days and it still has not shipped. I have talked to customer service three times, each time they give me a different estimate of shipping. They are now telling me the shades will not ship until 1/13. Customer service does not seem to care much about this issue either, they only offer excuses stating their manufacturer closes over the holiday. That is an absolute joke to me. If it is going to take over a month to ship, they should be up front with the timing. I would have ordered from another company. I would not recommend this company in any manner. Spend the extra 10-20% on a better company.
For years I purchased shutters and shades from Shades, Shutters and Blinds till they abruptly went out of business. I am so happy with Blindster. Not only are they fair on price but their customer service is as good as it gets. I will continue to buy from them and recommend them to everyone. BTW... the shutters with the Z-Frame are so easy to install.

Ordered four of the 'No tools' cordless cellular shades that you hear advertised all over the place. We're very sorry we wasted our time with these. They are NOT easy to install and look pretty cheap and bad! When I called about not being able to install it correctly, I was told, "well you have to use some muscle to get it to click in place". Well, my husband and adult son have plenty of 'muscle' and still couldn't make them look right. We asked for a refund (you have 60 days) and received that, minus 10% fee. You need to provide proof that you've donated them to a charity. Not sure what a charity is going to do with cordless shades with no adhesive brackets... they're still attached to our walls. Now, we have to figure out how to remove those things without too much damage. We ordered blinds from Costco instead. Wish I'd never heard of Blindster.com
I purchased two sheer shades from Blindster. At about $600 each ($1,200 for the pair), they were a lot less expensive than Hunter Douglas and so I decided to place the order. The shades arrived and I installed them. Within 10 minutes, the one shade was torn. I have had temporary paper shades that are better quality than this. I complained to Blindster.com who informed me that the sheer shades are one of their premier products and don't fall under the satisfaction guaranteed. Let me say that again. Their premier products don't fall under their satisfactin guarantee. They are offering to replace the torn shade but that means that a few weeks from now, I'll have terrible quality shades with no future satisfaction or quality guarantee. I will never again buy from this company and I strongly recommend that others look elsewhere for their window treatment needs.
Justwellpop offers a wide variety and selection of good quality and easily facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers. I would definitely recommend this great buying experience and terrific service, and will definitely be using it again
We had several in home estimates on solar shades for our home. After looking at the money we would save on Blindster, we decided to give it a chance. We bought one initially to make sure we were happy with the quality and color. Then we purchased for all other windows. Our initial blinds had a shade with pull chain, we decided to go with the spring pull shade with others. They both were of good quality. We could not decide between the 93% and 95% solar shades as we wanted to keep the heat out but keep out view. The 95% kept out more heat and you could see thru almost the same. The pictures below with the 2 windows shows a 93% on left and 95% on right. The second picture shows how the shades look with valances. It is certainly a nicer look with the valances but in areas with little use, I'm not sure they are worth the price. I would purchase from this company again.
I recently ordered three solar shades of different sizes for recessed windows and they all came in not wide enough. Even if they were wide enough for some reason they leave a large gap on each side between the shade and wall. The first two were about 1/4 inch short and I used washers to shim the shade bracket out far enough to make them work. The third shade was 1/2 inch short and I contacted customer service who had me measure the window and take a picture of the tape measure measurement. I had to pay an additional $15 for shipping and the second shade arrived only to find it a 1/4 inch short. Again I got out some washers and used them for shims to make the shade work.
Needless to say very disappointed and will never use them again.
Not much to say... dont waste your time and money. It couldnt be more cheaply made, and flat out ugly. Honestly, go somewhere else where you can see the quality of the product.
I ordered a $200+ blind from blindster.com. When it arrived it was 1.75" too short on one side and 2.75" on the other. After 2 notes to blindster customer service carefully explaining that the blind is simply too short AND crooked, all I receive are form type notes explaining how how to "adjust" the blinds. STAY AWAY.
PRO: Competitive price when using 50% off promo. Seemingly strong mechanism.
CON: Mixed up the length and width of 2 blinds and they had to be replaced. Took 5 back and forth emails to do this and customer service was abrasive and argumentative. Workmanship is very poor. One blind had the string holding the blind incorrectly strung and wound around another string. The cutting is done with the wrong or very dull saws so that the ends are heavily chipped. The blinds are full of plastic chips from cutting and these get all over the place and had to carefully vacuum the house after I hung these. Had to vacuum again when I got the replacements which also where littered with hairs and other debris, the factory which supplies these must be filthy. There is no texture on the blinds so you could call them plastic blinds but why you could call them faux wood I do not know. When ordering inside mount blinds the valances are cut the width of the blind and you are not given a choice of this. Since the top part of the blind is flush with the window I would have liked the valance to be a little wider so you did not see the metal mechanism box: a choice would be nice. Valances showed a lot of chipping where they were cut.
REC: NO! Do not pick these.
I'm hoping to resolve this with Blindster--I'll update after I know how they will respond. I bought 18 3.4 inch Prism Express Cordless blinds on 7/27/16 and we were thrilled with them. They were pretty, the mechanism worked fine (still does) and we received many compliments. However the blinds were down this spring (3/19) and I was washing the windows on the outside, I was horrified to find that they are coming apart on the back. As the blinds are often up on this side of the house when the weather is nice, I hadn't seen the problem before, so I don't know when it started, but considering the advanced state of the defection it must have been going on for at least a year. See the pics below. The company has a "limited lifetime warranty" so we will see just what they will honor.
The double cellular shades we purchased fit perfectly. At first we didn't quite understand the installation instructions, and a quick call to Blindster customer service clarified everything, and they were simple to install. Before I ordered, the company provided me with all the free fabric and color samples I needed to make that decision. Once ordered, the blinds arrived in about a week. Compared to shopping at Lowe's or Home Depot, this saved us so much money, and we didn't have to have people in and out of our house.
Yesterday, I called and asked the company about what I would need to keep the blinds in place when closed with the window opened and breeze blowing. The customer service rep told me she would order me "blind stays" from the factory at no charge. Wow!
First of all, I love the blinds we purchased - great quality, easy to install, makes the home so much better! Secondly, we had an issue with the first order (fit not right), and Blindster fully refunded the order. Their only request was that we donate the incorrect-fitting blinds, which we were happy to do. Highly, highly recommend, and I will continue to purchase blinds here anytime I need them.
I received a defective product and I am having issue with getting a credit back. I've ordered from them three times, and it's surprising how difficult they are being with me. I'm going to use amazon from now on or another service unfortunately
Bought blinds online, only to find out my windows were too narrow for the inside mount. Called to return and order an outside mount and there was absolutely no hassle. I was extremely impressed with the customer service. And the blinds are fantastic too. I love that they give you free sample so you can see how the color looks before you order.
Ordered roman shades and was very disappointed with the color. I knew you could send them back if they didn't fit, but I didn't know you could send them back because of the color until I heard it on a commercial. So I called and they said it was a 60 day warranty and I had missed it by 3 to 4 weeks. After explaining I didn't know I could send them back they offered me 50% off new ones. Very disappointed considering they offer 45% off to anyone. We ordered Tulsa Tan, and it looks gold instead of tan.
I'm sorry you didn't like your shades. I will call you to see if we can get this resolved.
Long story short - I ordered 3 blinds and they fit and mounted fine but 1 of them did know scroll as it should (didn't scroll at all). I left a poor review and they contacted me immediately with the probable cause (settled during shipping) and it was a 10 second fix that I just couldn't see without knowing the product. So THANKS! It's good to know they read the reviews and take action. I'll be back!
I have ordered from this company many times. My last order included 3 bamboo shades. They are heavy duty and were easy to install. Love this company!
Our order was received in a timely manner and all the blinds fit perfectly. They were easy to install and look great.

Hi Jenny,
I reviewed the notes on your order and I see you purchased 10 shades and 1 was defective. I spoke with our customer service supervisor Whitney and she said she had spoken with you and requested you either send photos of the damage or that we would pick up the shade and provide credit upon inspection. We sincerely want to make things right here so we hope you will work with us so we can get a replacement shade out to you ASAP. We apologize for the inconvenience.
