Lazy Customer Service

I was interested in a small fixed blade knife I saw on the BladeHQ site. While researching, I found that the actual maker of the knife had them on sale on his site for $100 less than BHQ. I wrote BladeHQ asking if they could match that price. After a week, I received a request to provide the "item number" on BHQ's own site even though I had provided a URL to their product page and also to the maker's product page. I responded to that request explaining how to find the product on their own site, only to be told "Unfortunately, the website you provided does not appear to be an authorized dealer. I'm truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are unable to price match from this site." It is the maker's own site! How can it not be authorized? How can a CSR actually think it is okay to write that as a response?

Pocket knives are my hobby. I purchase a fair number and purchase from multiple online retailers. BladeHQ is consistently the most likely to not ship promptly, be delayed in responding to customer service inquiries, or just pull nonsense like this.

BladeHQ - I just ordered directly from the maker's site. No plans to order from you in the future. To many other retailers with the same products providing a better experience.

BladeHQ attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

The ONLY place to purchase collectible knives!

I've been buying knives h from Blade HQ for years, probably more than 100. So far….
So, I bought one a couple weeks ago and it was looking like the postman might've lost my box. I reached out to Kim and she assured me that Blade HQ has a solution for my problem. Good thing though, the US Mail "found" my box and delivered it. Better late than never, I reckon. Thanks Kim!

Banned by ip on checkout

Brooke H. (Customer Service Representative) - useless communication, not paying attention to details (asked for credentials already provided in my very first email), not interested in solving the issue. Still can't reach the website, missed black friday/cyber monday deals because of bhq's stupid system that banned me on checkout. Will spend my money somewhere else.

Disappointing Customer Service

I contacted BladeHQ shortly after placing my order to inquire about the possibility of exchanging a knife with one from a different order. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response until two days later, by which time my order had already been shipped. Regrettably, no resolutions, such as an exchange, were offered. While I have had excellent experiences with BladeHQ in the past, I found this particular situation to be quite disappointing.

Great Customer Service

I was having issues with their system not recognizing our tax exempt status and needed to contact their customer service rep multiple times. Every time I emailed her she responded within an hour or less, was able to immediately refund overpayment, and went above and beyond by providing additional help/advice that I had not solicited. Good customer service like this is very hard to find nowdays, so I highly recommend using BladeHQ.

Credit for points for a past purchase

Kim F. Was able to help me receive credit for points that I earned after purchasing a Koenig Arius a few months ago. I did not realize that I was not signed in and therefore did not receive the points. Kim was able to look up the purchase and credit my account. Another reason BladeHQ rocks!

Item missing from inside product box.

Recieved an order and one of the items was found to be missing an "extra accessory". Hannah Y. Replied back swiftly. She was able to verify the missing item with no problems. She gave me several options to resolve the issue, all great options. Hannah was able to issue me a credit for the value of the missing item. The missing item is available independently and is only an extra accessory so was able to still get that coming (as well as some extra goodies😉). Highly satisfied with my experience with Hannah Y. And everyone else over at BladeHQ!

Haven't received my order

Ordered a package of 3 otf knives on 11/28/24, have not received them, Jen is as very polite, courteous and helpful. It seems the order has been lost in the mail, there are no packages in my local post office for me. Will have to re order Dec 10th
