Placed 3 order with BTR.
First was OK, not the best quality but not the worst.
Second was for 2 sweaters. After waiting a long time for delivery I was very disappointed by the quality, really shoddy items. I kept them, feeling it was not worth the hassle of going through the return procedure but decided I would not buy anything else from BTR. Unfortunately though, by the time the sweaters were delivered I had ordered 3 paire of sunglasses.
Third order: About one month after placing order was adivised 1 of 3 items had shipped. Today received notice that the other 2 items could not be "secured" so balance of order had been cancelled and payment refunded. OK but... no refund for shipping charges. I called to complain and was offered an in store credit to compensate. I refused this as I will not be buying anything further from BTR. CSR said she would ask for a pro-rated refund of the shipping charges.

I am sure most customers won't go to the trouble of complaining about them charging shipping charges for items they do not ship so they probably make a lot of money this way. Cancelling orders but keeping shipping charges.

Inferior products, nothing in stock so crazy long delivery times, questionable business practices (see above) = lousy company, stay away!

Terrible, terrible and yes terrible. I've been ordering from beyond the rack for quite some time. In the beginning the customer service was ok. Sometimes items would arrive with flaws, I kept them anyway to avoid the hassle of returns. In March of this year, I placed a big order and in that order were two Bombay chest. Both arrived damaged, one had minor damages, the other more severe damage, not to mention these two items were almost $900. Had to rip them out of the box to get them out, box was already destroyed and they wouldn't take it back because it was not in original packaging. I offered to keep the less damaged one and told them I would go purchase bubble wrap and cardboard to return but that was no good. So after I complained endlessly with no one doing anything they told me to send it wrapped. They said courier was coming, I waited at home for 4 days, no courier, finally I had enough and told them I'd just keep the broken item. I thought they would at least give me a credit to use... nothing only promises they didn't keep and their famous saying... we apologize for your inconvenience. Don't give me an apology, do something about it... buyer beware! It's 3 months or more since the order went to them and they have done absolutely nothing. Absolutely terrible service and they just lost another customer. So just in case you're ordering from them, be prepared to be disappointed if the need for return should arise.

I recently ordered 3 Items, I knew shipping would take up to 3 weeks which I was ok with. All 3 itmes were from 1 designer and supposed to be made of Organic Cotton. The shirt arrived first and it was NOT cotton at all, it had the same pattern that I ordered but not the right style of shirt. The following week 2 dresses arrived they were also the same pattern of the dresses I ordered but NOT Cotton they were viscose. Each of these items had different designer labels on them, the sewn in tag said made in india the hanging tag said made in china. I cant be bothered returning anything I basically got what I paid for, Knockoff items, will I ever shop there again probably not.

Wait time for items ordered is ridiculous. After 4 weeks of waiting for an item they sent me an email telling me they were just refunding my card. No explanation for why I wasn't receiving my purchase.

I made the mistake of ordering three times from BTR. NEVER AGAIN! First I ordered a pair of shoes. I received an email stating that they were being shipped and I could track the package through USPS. Great! I knew it was going to take about 4 weeks, but I was okay with that because I had the ability to keep an eye on the delivery. After about 3weeks I check to see where my shoes are, and I find out that they were returned to the warehouse for being undeliverable. I call customer service and ask them to send them back to me and I give them the address to confirm it is correct. Start all over. Same thing happens. So now I call customer service and tell them to cancel the order. Why I didn't just stop there is beyond me. A week or so later I go back on the site and I order a pair of sandals and a skirt. I double checked my shipping address and it was completely different from what I typed in originally, and what I gave to the customer service agent. So I fix the address and place my order. Guess what - the same thing happens to the skirt I ordered! So I call customer service again, and this time I give them a different address to have it shipped to. In the meantime, I'm checking on my sandals. They actually made it to the local post office! But wait! They were returned to the warehouse too for the same reason! I've spoken with at least 4 customer service reps who each said they were checking on the shipping address and making the necessary corrections. One person told me that I must have typed my address in wrong... wait, it's my address. I'm pretty sure I know where I live! This has been going on for well over a month and I don't believe I'm going to get my merchandise any time before Christmas. All I can say is STAY AWAY! The prices are awesome and the items are nice but none of that is worth the hassle you have to go through to get your order!

I ordered a Starbucks K-cups back in May. June 2nd I spoke with Jim to ask where my product was. He said it had not left the warehouse yet but would let me know when it did. June 3rd I get an email from Jim stating that they are in transit from the supplier. June 5th I noticed my credit card was charged so I "assumed" that the product was on its' way to me since you are not supposed to charge a card unless the product was sent. June 6th I called and spoke with a very rude "Sam" and I finally asked to speak to a supervisor which put me in touch with "Gabrielle". At this point she told me they need the funds to pay the supplier so the supplier would release the product. Another words. Using my money as sort of a bridge loan. At that point I cancelled my order. They will never get another sale from me. I think their way of doing business has some bad practices.

I recently purchased several items from BTR and have spent several phone calls and too much time trying to straighten out discrepancies. There were two orders already shipped,,, one to the wrong address and the other, a pair of shoes in a bag with one size but the shoes the wrong size. I am currently not impressed with their customer service or the quality of the merchandise. I'm patiently waiting to receive a few other items, one of which I was told last week was there at their distribution center and would be shipped right away but today told that they were not there yet. Hopefully I will get satisfaction with the forth coming orders but until then I am joining the ranks of the naysayers for BTR. Also customer service... Try being more courteous to your customers... It's a big turn off. You have your money for all of my orders sooo please send "all" of my merchandise.

Hi Everyone,
I would urge you not to get involved and ever buy any items from Beyond the Rack. I have been a customer with them for many years. At the beginning of their business the customer service was acceptable and the ordered items would be received in 2-3 weeks. As the times passed, they expanded and the customer service turned into a nightmare. Attitude and slamming the phone in your ears. On top of everything they have their items delivered by Canada Post who does not give a dam about us, customers. I am not even sure if there is an understanding between Beyond the Rack and Canada Post where is any kind of insurance of our orders. Canada Post delivers the packages by leaving them in front of the doors (does not matter if is a house or a rental apartment) with no required signature or any responsibility.
I ordered 2 watches on April 29 and have never received them. I got on May 26 an email from Beyond the Rack that let me know that the items have been delivered successfully on May 16. Never got them. I called Beyond the Rack and got a customer service Representative, name Lois, who took the information and asked me to fax my proof of order and everything I have related to the order. Gave me a case number and that was it. I called the next day to see what has been done and if they will follow up with Canada Post and got another customer rep, Daemain, who did not know anything. Explain again and promised that I will hear back from them. After 4 days of silence I called today where I get to talk to a Vanessa who hangs up on me cause I asked to speak to a supervisor. On my file was nothing mentioned about a case that was supposed to start almost a week ago. Frustrated? Yes. I am. I called again after she hangs up on me and ask to speak directly to a supervisor. The customer service rep. Refuses and tells me to tell her again the entire story. What can I say... Well, at this moment I am still waiting for something to be done.
Conclusion! Please be smart, not like me and do not use Beyond the Rack as it is not worth it the wait of 2-3 month to receive a product, no insurance on the items that are left in front of your door by not responsible Canada Post drivers and treated like is your fault by BTR employs. This is the last time I will deal with them and hope that I will send a message out for you all and avoid even opening their website.

I've only recently bought a few things at Beyond the Rack... Actually quite a lot. Since the deals seem to be very good, I have already made 3 separate orders. The process seemed easy and i received a confirmation email right away. I even received a phone call a few days later. I did notice that my orders say that they will ship in around 2-3 weeks which is reasonable. However, after I've read these reviews and have seen nothing but negative comments, I am a little worried. I hope my items do come in good shape and quality and will not take a ridiculous amount of time to deliver. I hope Beyond the Rack does not disappoint me since I really do look forward to becoming a usual customer and I really do love their deals. Looks like I will just have to wait and see.

First time buyer and last time buyer! Ordered merchandise on 4/24/14 and after several e-mails was told package was damaged and sent back to "corporate office".
Was told I had to contact the shipping dept., blah, blah, blah. Customer Service person named Caleb never really read the whole e-mails from me because I asked for a Refund and he kept talking that he was researching for the merchandise etc.
Then an e-mail came saying they found the error and it would take 10-15 days for items to arrive, which I had already waited over one month. A real solution finally appeared on 5/29, they refunded my money! Bad communication, bad service and would definitely not recommend to anyone.

I have ordered from Beyond the Rack on several occasions. I swore I would never order from them again after my first experience, but I got lured back by the merchandise. Like many of the reviewers, I had issues with shipping and terrible customer service. My first order was delayed for weeks after the date they indicated it would be shipped out. They tried to placate me with a $10 gift certificate. I eventually got my merchandise but felt frustrated having to continuously seek updates on my order. Customer service was laissez faire at best. I have ordered a few other things that took long to arrive, but not inordinately long. Recently I ordered a handbag. The original order was placed April 17th and it is now nearly June 1st! I expressed my frustration and was offered a $10 gift certificate - no attempt was made to advise on status of order or when I could expect to receive it. I wrote again to customer service and my request for information has gone ignored. This is absolutely the very last time I order from this company. There are so many other good discount retailers online, the frustration is so not worth it. If I don't receive my order in the next week, I am going to contact my credit card company to cancel the transaction and I will report the company to the Better Business Bureau. Judging by all the comments on this site, this company has some serious issues that need to be rectified.

At times we do run into delays with our supplier that are out of our control, however, we will always send an email to let you know the status of your order. Unfortunately, our whole purchase order was late in arriving to BTR which caused the delay in shipping your order to you.

Absolutely terrible... I have given these guys too many chances. Wrong colors, order no where near that as described (order cotton get shipped poly), and lately inability to ship or provide customer service at even that of a fast food level. My order was "shipped" 3 weeks ago, but has yet to be given to Canada Post, with multiple calls to customer service and being laughed at during to today's call shows this company is nothing but a sub "Micky Mouse" organization. Most items are the exact available at your local Winners for the same cost, but without the shipping charge, which makes me believe they source the same supplier. With so many of the exact negative reviews around various websites, you guys need to get your s#$% together. Customer service is a joke, products are not as described (many laws to help consumers in this by the way)... Please do not respond with "we strive" BS... because you have never tried to fix these issue!

The shipping was due three weeks turn out to be over a month to be deliver. I call and talk to representative, it took over 30 to 40 minutes to talk to a supervisor. Long story be short the results was terrible will not be using it again. :( my complain is why do the customer have to suffer for their negligent..

I had been ordering from BTR for over 2 years, but honestly I have completely given up because time after time the clothes were cheap, made in china and all wrinkled or damaged, and always packaged poorly. Not to mention they sent the wrong colour for several items, another time i did not ever receive the item and then was told I would never be able to 'claim' that again on future orders, as if I stole my own package! They mark everything up so ridiculously high so the discount they offer looks like a deal, it's all lies. 95% of the products are cheap junk manufactured in China. Beware of this site.

We also apologize if the quality of the merchandise you received was less than expected and if there were even times if you received the wrong color merchandise. If this was the case, we sincerely apologize that this was overlooked by our quality assurance team.
Also, we’re sorry if you might not have been aware that we are unable to file a claim for the same address once a claim has already been approved. Should you choose to purchase with BTR in the future, we can recommend to have your local post office hold your parcels for you, this way you may pick up your parcels there and will have the peace of mind that your orders will be safe.
Also, all our retail prices are provided to us by our suppliers. Some of our sales are curated with sought-after items sold at the manufacturer's suggested retail price, and some of our items are offered at deep discounts. We typically have the lowest or one of the lowest prices on discounted items, but cannot guarantee the absolute price all the time across the board. Please know that we are always here to answer questions on products and pricing and will be happy to contact our suppliers if ever you feel that some information is not correct.
We do hope you continue to check us out for all your discount needs. We do hope you give BTR another chance to prove to you that shopping with us can be a great experience. Thank you

I returned a watch only because it was a duplicate. BTR received it on April 16,2014. I STILL do not have my credit. I wanted to purchase a $200.00 item at BTR today, but my credit was still being "processed." Seems to me they get your money immediately when you purchase something... definitely take their time refunding you.

Beyond the rack is as awful as everyone says it is. I took the plunge because of the pricing and greatly regret it. I was contacted specifically by customer service to confirm my order and was told that my particular order was already located at the warehouse so shipping would not be delayed. However, when I actually checked my account, it told me shipping was 2 weeks from my order date which is completely different from what I was told by the customer rep. I have different answers every time I speak to a rep. Does not give me confidence on anything at all. I suggest to SKIP THIS SITE nomatter what - it's not worth the headache, I regret taking the plunge to save the cash.

As a private shopping club, we're ordering select merchandise on our member’s behalf. Upon receipt of your order, our suppliers ship the purchase orders to our warehouse for inspection and inventory confirmation of the merchandise. Once completed, we prepare to ship to our customers. However, there can also be times where we can be pretty quick and surprise you. In your case, the item purchased was in stock which is why it was shipped relatively quickly. We apologize for any confusion in regards to your track orders page if this stated otherwise. These dates are estimated ship dates and we will always try and be as specific as possible as to when your order is expected to ship out. Looking into your account, your order has been shipped and is expected to be received shortly. I ordered a bed spread from beyond the rack, it was torn, the seam was ripped when I unpacked it. I was not very happy about that, I have not returned it because I find the hassle too much to go through their policies are very peculiar about returns, I don't want a credit I want a bedspread.

I am reporting this company to the BBB and going to my bank to get my mony back! I placed a $200.00 order and the shippment continues to be defered, it has almost been 2 months since my order was placed (order number: *******). I had hoped to get some great dressess for work but instead I had $200.00 stolen from me.

I will be telling EVERYONE who will listen of the SCAM so as to spare them the experience.
