I was excited to purchase my Louis Vuitton Multicolore Monogram white marakumi Takashi(2004) speedy 30 in white, however, I purchased the item off Kijiji and of course there? S always a shadow of doubt when I comes to authenticity if not purchasing at the Louis Vuitton store. So I decided to employ the services of Authenticatefirst and they were able to reassure me and authenticate my piece as authentic... Granted I had a photo authentication complete, I sent them 60+ photos in various angles and lighting, close and far, to ensure the accuracy and precision of the services. They were able to validate the bag, which made me happy, but also what? S more impressive is that they had my order completed in 6 hours! It was great! This is a service provider I would recommend to anyone in a time crunch for selling their luxury item - who needs validation NOW! The process was really easy and got back quick and kind responses to each and every question I asked. Superb in that way.
However, I'm not pleased with the Certificate of Authentication as it states on it, "Not valid for Paypal or other disputes." As a seller, this gives every scammer on eBay a window to use against you and say your purse is fake. The reason I have my items verified is to show they are authentic and by saying that right on the paperwork, it leaves you wide open for an SNAD case. So then you have no choice but to pay more money to get their "written statement."
I asked for a COA. Nothing more. I didn't pay for a COA that states on the paper that this is not to be used for disputes.
If I were a buyer and saw this as a part of an auction I would steer clear because to me, this is saying that, "In our opinion it's real but you can't use this COA to file any disputes."
In other words, this paperwork is not to be used as validation of the item's authenticity.
They should really let people know that this statement will be put on their COA. Had I know, I would have never used their service.

Your response to me is a half-truth because you did refund me my money but the damage has been done because I have already paid the seller and now the credit card is going after my $#*! due to your humongous mistake. You said then that you would be sending me a document so that I could submit if I decided to present a dispute and that never came to me so you are lying. But I have not rested and now I will be taking legal action against you for your incredible disastrous mistake. You giving me my money back due to your mistake is not doing me any favor. I am out the more than $2,000 due to your inept and unprofessional service. I have already reported you to the Better Business Bureau also. Just waiting to present my small claims and will make you accountable. Ladies please check reviews/complaints regarding these scammers.

They are really fast and efficient. Even though our rate of response was delayed due to the 15hr difference, they still manage to authenticate my bag in less than 48hrs. And they even helped to send a courtesy reply to inform me my item was authentic which helped me speed up the purchase of the bag as the seller would only reserve it for me for 24hrs. So overall I recommend to others! But if you are living outside the US, just take note of your country's time difference in case you wanted to have something authenticated urgently.

I used Authentic First to check authenticity as I was suspicious when I received the item that is was not authentic as as advertised. I have proof now, so I can get a refund without too much hassle. I have used their service several times and they are quick with results, usually within 48hrs and very reasonably priced. Had them authenticate a bag that I bought online and they told me it was indeed real. Because I had doubt, I figured let me trick them and send in a bag that I personally bought from a department store just to see if they knew what they were talking about. They told me tha the bag I bought was a fake! OMG I wanted to scream because I had already accepted the other bag and at this point I couldn't get a refund. I am in the dispute process with my bank now. This is a scam 100% stay away. HOW are they authenticating anything via email ANYWAY? Makes no sense I should have listened to my gutt.

If you know you can't do it via photos, then why are you charging people to do so?/ there is a huge difference between saying we are not sure, then completely saying yes authentic when you are not sure. I'am very satisfied with the services, bought 2 bags, one seemed authentic I had the prove of purchase from the seller but I still needed reassurance that bags were real. I sent both photos and results came that one bag was real and the other not real. The one with the prove of purchase was the real one but authentic first didn't t know that cos I didn't show them the prove of purchase, I only sent pictures of the bags, I bought a Gucci and YSL bag both on eBay with 2 different sellers. The Gucci bags came out as fake and when I told the seller the bag was fake he didn't acted surprised, as if he knew that already. The ysl bag was real and I kind of knew but as I mentioned above I needed to be reassured and thanks to authentic first I'm 100% sure. The fake Gucci was returned. I just used them for the first time. I needed to authenticate two handbags and was struggling to find someone local, or online, who could do it accurately, quickly, and could be trusted. I somehow found their website and after reading it through, decided to have them authenticate the items. I sent my photos to them on Sunday night. By Monday night, I had a determination on both of them. They delivered on their promise, and now I have my answers. I will definitely use them again!
