I wish I had heard about Authenticate First sooner! As a buyer of high end clothing and handbags online, I'm sometimes left with the nagging doubt that I bought a fake. Someone suggested trying this service, and I had them authenticate a Chanel bag, and found it was indeed a real one, leaving me much happier with my purchase. I plan on having all of my high-end clothes and bags authenticated by them. As a seller, I like to authenticate my items to increase sales and leave my buyers confident in me. Their service is reliable and reasonably priced for doing so. That said, you MUST send a lot of clear, high-quality images. I mean come on, they're doing this online so you have to give them plenty of images to work with!

So glad I found this site to verify a recent purchase I made on Poshmark. I looked at other authentication sites but they didn't have the option of providing written verification if needed for a refund/dispute and they didn't seem as legitimate as Authenticate First. The Jimmy Choo I bought checked all the boxes for being authentic and I was pretty sure it was- it just arrived with a weird smell so I wanted a second opinion. I received confirmation in less than 24 hours that it is authentic. I also paid extra to get an estimated value (what a great option for only an additional $5!). To my surprise, it valued at about twice what I paid for it! I'm so happy to have a source to go to for confirmation. Especially with such reasonable prices. I ordered the basic photo authentication service for a chanel bag I wanted to buy, because this company has a long track record offering these services and I trust that they are one of the more experienced companies in doing so.

Their website provides for a convenient photo-uploader tool, which allows easy, on-site uploading of your pictures and which helps them to proceed with the authentication process as fast as possible. Immediately after uploading my pictures, I received a confirmation e-mail which stated that my photos were received succesfully and the authetication was in progress.

Within the 2 days estimated turnover, authenticatefirst sent me the needed authebtication of my bag.

I would recommend this standard service to any person who, despite doing their homework, is looking for some additional peace of mind before purchasing a designer bag, online or in a boutique with preloved items.

I paid 10 dollars for my e-mail authentication and think it's a fair fee, considering I received my authentication quickly without me having to chase or send out reminders.

My communications with the company through e-mail were proactive, polite and quick, which to me is very important. I've broken off plenty of deals due to flaky companies or sellers.

I have used the services of Authenticate First twice. They correctly identified the first item as counterfeit and the second item as authentic. Their turnaround time is fast and their prices are fair. Having a certificate of authenticity is necessary for resale these days. I will use them in the future for all questionable luxury items I am considering purchasing. Highly recommend this company to anyone who is worried about purchasing counterfeit items.
