I called aritzia customer service to find out whether there were alternatives to a fed ex delivery as I've had horrible experiences with this service. I was told no and was encouraged to reach out to fed ex myself, another alternative which was so bogus/ridiculous it was actually comical. Lol. What would that do about the existing horrible service with fed ex? Nothing. The Rep, who I won't name, was passive aggressive and totally unhelpful after a 20 minute call, putting me in a lengthy hold. Will never be ordering from aritzia again based on their contract with fed ex AND the awful service.
The return policy is awful. Returns can be made 14 days after SHIPMENT. Which means if you received your item after those 14 days, guess what, you can't return it! Also, sale items are non refundable, however they do not indicate that items are final sale. There are better brands out there that stand by their product and offer fantastic customer service. It's a shame that Aritzia is Canadian!
I am truly astonished on my experience with this company, in short it was fantastic. I'm always very careful when i do online shopping and I've shopped in the store Aritzia but had never really bought tons of items at once (part of it due to the price but whatever.) Anyways since summer was approaching and the semi annual sale was going I went ahead and bought a large sum of clothing, but being the nervous person i am about ordering on line i was very careful with handling everything, anyways to my surprise all my items came two days later on my front step with all the right sizes and colours, and it truly blew me away, i WILL be ordering so much more from this site... (also i've noticed the quality with the clothing is through the roof :) ) Probably one of my best experiences of shopping on line.
Given their high prices and limited location, their in-store return policy is pretty unforgiving: 10 days for full refund, 21 days for exchange! Then you are stuck with something that might be of good quality but it is not really what you wanted. Buyer be aware!
So disappointed on all ends of the spectrum with this company, I bought several items spent a lot of money and the quality was so bad. They will not refund you what you paid this company also does not respond within a timely manner customer service and quality should be number one priority I will never be shopping with them again.
I use to spend a lot of money at aritzia but the staff at their pacific centre location are so unbelievably rude that just seeing their aritzia sign at any location reminds me of the little mean girl attitude I received. I don't know who trains these ladies at this location but they are doing the brand a real disservice. Their styles are no longer unique to their stores and the synthetic materials they mostly use now really don't warrant putting up with $#*!y staff. The retail industry in Vancouver is just way to competitive for that nonsense.
Sizing is not true to size but most of all their return policy is a joke! 10 days to make a return is the most unfriendly customer service policy I've ever seen. When I asked the person at the register why they have this policy, she stated something about how they manufacture their clothes and wanting to preserve the integrity of their unique clothing. They might be able to keep some customers if they stated this clearly on their website or told you when you checked out at a store. I will NOT be shopping here again!
Do not buy from this store. They will not refund your money for items purchased on sale. I'm not talking clearance items, NO sale items. They had a site wide black Friday sale and conveniently didn't list under the advertisements that there were no refunds. A freaking 10% off item was non-refundable. Absolutely despicable company.
I order online and after few days they return my money back because they said that don't have the items anymore this is the worst place to buy clothes this happened to me so many times.
I've been eyeing the famous "Melina" leather pants from Aritzia and I finally caved and bought them. Although my bank account wasn't too happy, I am! These pants are so soft, comfortable, and fit me like a glove! The packaging they came in was aesthetically pleasing too, and the shipping was so fast! I will definitely be shopping here again in the future :)
I made a large purchase online, two of the items didn't fit so I drove an hour to the mall to return it. I brought the only thing that came in the box which was the return label. They were not able to find my purchase int he system, not with my email, phone number, return label nothing. The girl tried calling customer service while I waited and no one answered. I had to leave the store with my purchase. But wait, I also searched for my email receipt and there isn't one. It's not in my in box, trash spam no where. They have a scam going on where they make returns impossible so that you are stuck with the product. Everything is overpriced and the customer service is horrible. Not worth the trouble, shop somewhere else.
Not willing to offer any price adjustment even when it was only days after I purchase, man it is not a sustainable way to make business, you may earned a couple extra hundred dollar by not offer the service but you will lost tons of customers for it too.
Had a package go missing, no fault of my own, and now they will no longer deliver to my house. Not even like, make you sign for it, just forever will no longer deliver. They say this is to keep a standard of service, but in reality, it shows they do not care about having my business. Essentially I should have let the package just be lost instead of reporting it. What a literal joke,
My item arrived over two months after it was supposed to. I had originally attempted to cancel my order after waiting for my order to arrive on the date it was expected to in August. I was then told that it would come at the beginning of October only for it to arrive in November when I am no longer at the address. The customer service is a joke and did nothing to fix their mistake.
I've been a customer of Aritzia for years and have spent thousands of dollars there. Mostly because it was a popular store but more often than not I was disappointed in the quality of their clothing. I had finally had enough after a $200 Ganna Jacket suddenly developed holes in it after wearing no more than a dozen times. I reported it and was told it was normal wear and tear! I can get better lasting clothes at Walmart...
Aritzia used to ship with Canada Post which was perfect. Now, shipments take a really long time and fedex just leaves packages at your door without even knocking. It's the worst delivery company ever so I don't understand why aritzia picked them. Considering that nothing is ever available in store except for the basic TNA stuff - you have to shop online. I definitely won't be ordering again because fedex is not good.
I love Aritzia's clothing but their customer service is awful. For the price we pay you'd think we'd be appreciated more. I bought a body suit online which came damaged with a few snags. When i reached out to customer service, all they could offer me was a 15% refund because it was on sale... any other company would refund the entire purchase or exchange. So dissapointing and its no wonder Aritzia has such awful reviews. I hope they rethink their return/exchange policy before enough people get fed up with it.
Firstly, the girls who work there have such attitude. You get paid minimum wage to fold clothes WHY are you walking around like you're god?
Secondly, when calling customer care - you are interrupted, often given wrong info about your order and they speak to you like they just want the call to be over with.
I have similar experiences in store, where most of the time, they seemed annoyed or frustrated to perform returns. Just overall horrible. The girls they choose to hire just have very aggravating dispositions and aren't warm/friendly/genuine. Finally beginning to boycott them and move to other more environmentally sustainable fashion stores.
I liked aritzia because they had petite clothing Ans I am tiny. I purchased a kitten sweater that was 78.00. I wore it twice. I washed it on delicate by itself and the entire sleeve fell off... I was very disappointed because I loved the sweater. I contacted them. They said I needed to send an email with photos. I sent that. They never contacted me back. I then followed up with them weeks later. They agreed to give me store credit which I was okay with. They said I needed to bring the sweater in though. I am a travel nurse so I don't carry useless things around with me in my car. I documented the photos and threw the sweater away. They refused to give me any store credit without the item even though I have the photos and pictures of a sweater with no sleeve and a hole in the other sleeve. I will never shop at this store again because they have poorly made clothes and an even worse customer service.
Their website charges sales tax to some items to PA. There is no sales tax on clothing in PA by law (with some exceptions which the mens superpuff does not fall under). I contacted Aritzia concierge BEFORE making the purchase about this and they assured it it was their system issue and that I'd be refunded the sales tax. But now they're refusing to refund me. Illegal tax practices!
Answer: Yes seems how I ordered tires 2-15-2023 and now it's 4-10-23 and still haven't gotten them and can't even Wright them do to them blocking me
Answer: Aritzia is taking advantage of their young, targeted audience by not offering proper customer service to a generation that is likely to sit down and take the abuse, rather than fighting back and getting what they deserve. They have a return policy of only ten days, which is an outlier amongst Canadian companies. In ten days, a product likely won't be delivered if purchased online, so the return period is lost before the product even reaches its buyer. I'm leaving this review in hopes of spreading awareness of Aritzias poor customer service and the impossibility to return products to Aritzia.
