Great experience

I recently ordered a few kitchen appliances from here and their website was great. It showed all available rebates along with links to them and they had links to install books and user guides! Their selection was excellent and the prices with extended warranties and no shipping and no taxes were better overall than all others. The appliances came within a week and they were factory boxed and sealed. The delivery crew was from a local area where their truck from New York delivers to, then the locals take over to bring them to your home. Very professional and courteous.
I was hesitant to use an online appliance center but now I must say that I will always go this route in the future.

I would highly recommend not doing business with this company. While they advertised the cheapest pricing, they could not deliver. Customer service is not a priority and despite management involvement, could not resolve the problem we experienced with furniture being delivered with broken pieces. After 2 months, I walked away. They lied repeatedly while proclaiming customer service a priority. Zero stars if that rating was available.

Take your business elsewhere or just throw your money away. They advertise items they don't have and do not know or care if you get it. They just want you to charge and give you the runaround and keep all or part of your charges. You will get promises that are worthless and emails to a shipping firm that ever answer about an estimated delivery date. We waited and put up them for over a month before we got our credit card company to intervene. They still shorted us $150 on our refund after many wasted hours of playing the waiting game on the phone. Look at their reviews on other sites and the complaints made on them by the Better Business Bureau.

Stay Away!
January 30, 2017

Bought a washer on 12/08/16. It was not delivered until 12/20/16. It was installed the 21st. Within 30 seconds of first turning it on, it began leaking all over and flooded into our basement. Plumber confirmed it was a defective machine. They refused to refund or even exchange because we plugged it in, it was considered "used.' Stated they would repair it! I will spare you all of the ugly details but it has been an absolute nightmare. We still have no resolution 60 days later. Have spent over 300 dollars to get laundry done. They could care less. They will not return calls. Insist that the only option is for them to repair it. I really think this company is a scam and knowingly sells defective appliances. I wish I had read the reviews before we decided to purchase from them.

Do NOT waste your time or money with this horrible company. They have no integrity and will avoid resolving any issues you may have. Just save yourself the trouble and spend the extra money with someone who will offer you full service.

Appliances Connection accepted my order for 3 sets of chairs but took 2 months to get 2 of 3 sets to me before deciding that they would no longer honor the price I had paid. I was told I had gotten a good enough deal and that they would not be sending the last set of chairs. When I said that was unacceptable and that I did not agree to their changes to our purchase contract, Wellington Chen said my only option was to return the chairs to them. I told him that wasn't an option either and that I wanted him to honor our contract. He verbatim responded, "that is not going to happen".

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAM/ CONFIDENCE GAME!

What a nightmare
December 30, 2016

"I bought a dishwasher on 11/29 that showed to be in stock and received an email with in stock/ready to ship notice. 3 days later after not getting a shipment notification I called and found out they were out of stock. They would have inventory on 12/22 and offered 4 to 7 day shipping and a reduced rate on a 5 year warranty. On 12/20 it shipped, two days early, only to find out it has an eta of 12/30. On 12/30, if never arrived so after 3 phone calls and 50 minutes later I learn it is still in transit to a terminal 11 hours away. They said they are hopeful it will be here on 1/4, but I doubt it. Be careful of customer service as I got different stories of what was going on."

ORDERED A WASHING MACHINE THEN 2 HOURS LATER CANCELLED ORDER. IT'S BEEN A WEEK AND STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY $699 BACK ONTO MY CREDIT CARD. THEY WERE VERY RUDE ALSO WHEN I CANCELLED.

BUYERS BEWARE! They may reel you in for a cheaper price than the other competitor, but you may end up paying even heavier price later. If you EVER have to return or need support on your purchase, EVEN IF ITS THEIR FAULT, you will end up paying very hefty price for it especially if you are an out of state or online purchaser.
They will not hesitate to sell you the returned or the opened items to you as new. And if you ever have to return it for those reasons they still make money off of you for a restocking fee. And YES, you will have to pay for your own shipping as well.
I recently purchased an oven that have returned item written all over the box with the bill of lading number from the previous purchaser. Top of the box was caved in and duct tape was used to reseal the box. They told me to return the item on my dimeif I wanted to return it for a refund; they will deduct additional 10%!
Also, they will not honor the price drip on their own website unless you cancel the order well ahead of the delivery day. They will not price match you even on the day of the delivery! If you get your merchandise on Friday afternoon and you see that the price has dropped 20% you are out of luckbecause support close early and dont work on weekends.
Another lesson learned from trying to save little money! Im sure not all of their merchandises are second quality, but is it worth the taking a chance?. Ill be shopping from Bestbuy from now on and taking the AC price to Bestbuy because they will PRICE MATCH! Buying a major appliance is a huge experience and it ought to be a good one! I just hope no one else have to go through the same thing I did.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE

Do NOT buy from this disingenuous company. They will rob you. I ordered a sofa from this company, and the delivery service they contract with is EXTREMELY unprofessional and incapable. First of, they are not actually a furniture delivery service. They have no idea how to tilt furniture pieces to bring them through the door. Secondly, they only knew approximately three phrases in English, which made it impossible to instruct them on tilting the sofa. Third, the company assured me before I purchased the unit that all I would need to pay if I returned it was delivery costs (which they confirmed were free given the amount of my purchase). However, when the awful delivery service had no idea what they were doing, and I had to send it back, I actually had to pay $200 for return shipping and restocking. The "customer service" representative told me I was lucky she was nice, and she could have charged me twice that amount. I will NEVER shop with this company again. If zero stars were an option I would have chosen it because there was nothing positive about my experience from either Appliances Connection or the delivery company with whom they contract.

Do not buy from Appliance Connection! Once they have your money, their customer service sucks and they dont care if youre happy or not.
After ordering over $8500. 00 worth of outdoor appliances, I received two damaged refrigerators (separately). Both times I rejected the damaged merchandise; they tried to persuade me to accept the damaged unit at a slightly discounted price. Considering both units were severely damaged in the exact same spot, and Appliance Connection was so persistent in convincing me to keep the damaged unit, Im a little suspicious of their ethics and suspect the units were damaged before leaving the warehouse.
Even though the units were damaged prior to being delivered, I had to buy a second unit and pay an additional $97.50 to have it delivered and the first unit picked up. Once the second unit arrived damaged and delivery was rejected, Appliance Connection refused to send me another unit claiming their insurance company wouldnt allow it. After numerous phone calls and literally hours on hold, Appliance Connection suggested re-ordering a third unit under my wifes name (that ethical thing I mentioned earlier). When I went to their web site to re-order the unit for a third time, I quickly discovered the price had gone up by $312.07.
Although Im out $97.50 and a hole in my outdoor kitchen where this unit was supposed to go, I will never do business with Appliance Connection again and suggest if youre reading this you take your money and run.

Order a single wall oven. Price was best I found on lin so that was good. It arrived about 10 days later a little dinged up, but that was on the sidewall and you can't see it after install.

Buyer Beware!

I ordered a range, refrigerator and dishwasher from Appliance Connection in March of 2015. It took months to arrive and when it did the range was cracked and dented. My neighbor was there to receive it as I was at work. She refused the range due to the extensive damage. (We have pictures of the condition of range). Appliance Connection called and I was placed on a 3 way call between myself, my neighbor and Appliance Connection customer service. I was promised they had a local dealer that would exchange my damage range for a new one if I accepted the damaged range. I was to receive a new range the following Monday. What an idiot I was because what has ensued since is an endless nightmare of long hours waiting on the phone for customer service reps promising things that never happened. I opened a dispute with my credit card company. That got there attention! They promised if I dropped the dispute they would pick up the range and refund my money. This agreement was witnessed by my credit card company per a 3 way call. I dropped the dispute and after much begging more ridiculous time wasted on the phone they finally picked the range up. That was sometime in July. I called frequently for my refund and was told due to the dispute I had to wait 180 days! I continued to call was treated rudely for months. Now 180 days are well over and Appliance Connection for 2 months has promised my refund is forthcoming. Never happened. They are now telling me it has been so long that the owner needs to decide what to do. This company has stolen over a thousand dollars from me. Harold Lane is getting rich on stealing and scamming hard working people. I worked very hard to pay for those new appliance, Harold Lane has turned this experience into a year and a half nightmare. Please check the BBB reviews and F rating before doing business with this company. Sure wished I had!

This is a shady outfit- look for yourself ("F" rated by NY Better Business Bureau) Tons of complaints.

They DO NOT HONOR their advertised policies.

Oh and the ratings? Count them, look at the pattern. Farmed out reviews. Stick with Wayfair. It's more expensive, but at least they are worth the text printed on their website.

Bought a French Door Refrigerator from the Appliances Connection. Paid for Frige, 5 year warranty, white glove delivery service, removal of old frige, installation and express shipping. I was told it would be delivered in days. Three weeks later it still was not delivered. They kept telling me it was on the way.
Then they emailed me stating the order was canceled and gave me a partial rerfund for the express shipping, white glove delivery service, installation and removal of old frige.
They claim I live in a remote area and they can only deliver the frige by dropping it off at the curb in front of my house without even consulting me.
I battled with them for a week and a half to stop the curbside delivery and get refunded for
The frige. This was the worst buying experience ever. Think long and hard before buying from the Appliances Connectiion, better yet, don't buy from the Appliances Connection.

Jacked around from start to finish. They lie and try to cover them with excuses. Service by email so so slow. Service by phone rude. They don't return calls. They are not honest about delivery date.

The trucking company they use is rude, slow and unhelpful. Then they try to up charge to get it in door.

We purchased 6 Samsung appliances through Appliance Connection. We also purchase the 5 year warranties for each appliance. The customer service representatives were all very helpful and nice. Yes, it does take several weeks to get the appliances but it's worth the wait for the savings. We're getting ready to build a house and went ahead and ordered the appliances. We're in no hurry to use them due to construction. They went into storage upon delivery. We checked everything out for shipping damage and all was good and then, we signed off on the appliances. The two delivery guys from A&M were very helpful and knowledgeable of what they were suppose to do. We are VERY pleased with our overall experience with Appliance Connection. We would have no problem ordering from them in the future. Thanks again for a smooth transaction and delivery of such a BIG order.

Bought a bathroom vanity from this place. Took nearly a month to arrive and was damaged when it did. Nearly a month later this 300 lb item is still stuck in my living room while our credit card company tries to fight it out with them. AC does not stand behind product guarantees and expects their customers to handle all return shipping. This has been by far the worst online purchase ever. Look at the reviews before even considering this place. Sure, you will save money, but what good is that if the products are of no use!?
