They did good. Clave is still running and has been for about a year now. Let's see how it holds up now that the warranty is run off.
Richard just might be the highlight of this company. His talent and dedication to his craft is undeniably why I keep returning. Please give this man a raise.
Acme repaired centrifuge for us very well and it was great experience. Was not expensive and work was good. Will use next time as long as prices is still good.
By far the best used equipment vendor we've bought from. Richard and his team made sure our custom project was done in the timeframe we required— which was perhaps even reasonable! They went above and beyond and the quality of each unit is beyond what we thought possible.
I ordered a sewing machine on the 24th of March that was given a specific date of delivery when i ordered it. On Mar 28th i rec'd email that my "Order Is In Queue To Ship". On Mar 31 "Your Item Is Preparing To Ship" THEN on April 11th i rec'd this: "This delay is a result of an accessory or ancillary system being delayed from the manufacturer or one of our networked partners. Although we are working around the clock to fulfill your device order, the item(s) in your order may not be shipped for up to 4 more business days." Apr 19th we sent email asking the status & rec'd this: "At this time I do show that the fulfilling facility is still awaiting necessary preventive maintenance ancillaries direct from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the order hasn't been assigned a shipment date and tracking number yet, but we should have updates for you in the next 2-3 days." the only thing timely has been the billing of my credit card. I want a refund if you are not going to ship this NOW.
My new sewing machine arrived better than I had expected. They purchased my trade-in as well and that all went fine too.
I ordered an item on 31 March and was promised shipping details by the 13th of April at the latest, with arrival by the 15th. I contacted the company by live chat twice, once on the 13th once on the 14th since I had no updates and was given a very generic "sorry for the delay you will get more information in 1-2 days". So, the promised date has passed and I still have no reason for the delay, no revised expected delivery date, no refund of shipping fees, nothing.
Agent Richard was a big help today. Still not sure why phone support doesn't exist anywhere these days, but we got it sorted out. Thank you.
All 12 devices arrived in a like-new mint state a day early even. This is not new equipment, but I'm not sure you'd ever know. Highly recommend for a clinic just starting out in these times.
Richard (S) helped us sort a matter pertaining to a device we purchased outside of warranty. He saved us valuable time and money and did not insist we send it back in like the manufacturer did.
Firstly let me say this— this company needs phone support. Secondly, they were able to locate our lost package quickly however again, could have been quicker had there been someone to call instead of "chat" with online.
Had an old Midmark Autoclave serviced by them. The thing looked like trash going there and came back freshly painted, clean and sparkling. For a $300 check-up sure wasn't expecting that. They did remove our sick sticker from the side of it but lol worth it.
When opening a new location we were faced with the task of purchasing a new large scale capacity centrifuge. We ended up purchasing one off of eBay and of course within the first month it stopped working leaving us out about $15,000. We searched for a repair solution and saw an Acme Revival ad. Although tedious to send it in to them, they had it repaired in 3 days and back to us within 5. It actually gives me hope that we have this kind of lower cost protection when the happens again. Won't be on eBay anytime soon though.
My repair was easy the entire way with Acme Revival. The software online showed me the status whenever I needed it and no log-ins or account info needed.
The thieves at Carl Zeiss wanted $3k to fix a trial lens holder that had a small crack in it. Unreal. This company did it for $250. Will write this on every review platform— they deserve all the business they can take.
Haven't opened it yet but the package looks great (lol) and the online experience was easy and fast. Will update this if I need to!
The gentleman on chat helped me with an issue I was having for a device we didn't buy from them. Our UK support from the manuf was useless.
Starting out, it was really important for us to keep costs under control. We were able to source three devices for considerably less than other places without much compromise from the new / used scope.
Answer: I just got my FDT optical machine back. Acme had it for 2 months. At first they'll hound you for payment. I mean, they'll send you a threatening email every day saying that if you don't pay there will be a stocking fee etc. After you do pay the communication STOPS. After 2 months of this nightmare I finally received my FDT back, which I was surprised by the way. The original issue untouched plus my machine broken in 3 pieces. Please do not do business with these criminals. They should be prosecuted. I should've seen other reviews. You've been warned!
