Our repair went well
January 5, 2023

Sent in a Eppendorf Centrifuge for repair on the 21st. Got it back today and to say we're impressed is an under statement. Not only did they repair the initial issue, they were able to remove year-old adhesive that was spilled on the top cover. RECOMMEND.

I say borderline scam because I did receive a machine, but it was 1) missing advertised included BP cuff 2) incomplete power adapter cord 3) a battery that won't hold a charge. I let them know of the issues days after receiving it. They created a "ticket" for the issues. No word for 3 weeks. I reach out to check on the status. They say those items were not suppose to be included (as is it is non functional due to the power cord issue). I say it is unusable and want to return it. They say it is beyond the 2 week return window. Ugh, BUYER BEWARE

They send u defective machines. Then they say they'll take it back but they don't and they start ignoring you. Please avoid them. You'll be thankful. I lost a couple of thousands.

STOLE MY MONEY

I ORDERED 4 DIALYSIS MACHINES FOR $15,760.11 BACK ON 8/17/22. ACME REVIVAL KEPT DELAYING THE SHIPPING DATE FOR MONTHS. ONCE I CANCELLED THE ORDER THEY SAID I WOULD RECEIVE A REFUND WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS. MONTH LATER STILL NOTHING AND WILL NOT CONTACT THEIR MERCHANT OR SEND ME MY MONEY. I NEVER RECEIVED PRODUCT FROM THEM AND THEY AREN'T COOPERATIVE WITH MY REFUND, ACME REVIVAL HAS COMMITTED FRAUD AND GRAND LARCENY. NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

Nightmare pump rebuild
November 8, 2022

Acme advertises 7 day repair with free ups pick up. I needed this pump repaired fast. I tried to call Acme Revival a recorded message referred me to chat. I chatted with Lyn, and Amy. Also exchanged a couple emails. I received a UPS label to ship my pump. I crated the pump and shipped to Acme Revival. They received my pump the next day. I never received a quote on the cost of repair. After a few days I contacted Acme I was told that they needed more parts to my machine in order to test the pump. When I replied I couldn't send anything more all communication stopped. I could not call, email or chat. After 2 weeks I hired help to retrieve my pump. They located where the pump was shipped and saved my pump. Terrible customer service, I believe I would have lost my pump had I not taken action. It's now been almost a month. I ended up buying a new pump to get up and running again. Beware of paying or sending in anything. I believe the 5 star reviews are paid for by Acme.

Liars and Crooks

My advice: do not buy anything from ACME.
I ordered - and paid for in full - a refurbished air compressor for my dental office.
Communication was strange - no phone calls, only emails or a chat.
The order was placed on 9/23/22, and they told me the air compressor would arrive between 10/1 and 10/10.
I received updates informing me that my air compressor was being prepared to ship, but as 10/1 approached it still hadn't shipped. Finally, on 10/6, I asked ACME when the air compressor would be shipped, as it obviously wouldn't be delivered by 10/10 at that point.
It was on 10/6 they informed me that my order had been cancelled, that they would not be able to fill the order and that a refund was being processed. They advised me it could take 3-7 days, depending on my bank. Depending on my bank? I have a Chase Visa, and I have never had a refund take longer than 1-2 days to be executed.
Needless to say, it has been almost 3 weeks and I have not received a refund yet, I haven't heard anything from ACME.

The vendor falsely advertised a dental microscope as the newer generation but it is actually a much older version that I cannot use. I have contacted them many times in the past few days to cancel but they never responded to my request to cancel. Calling their support number leads to no help since they asked me to message them online, and no one responded to me for the last 3 days and they continue to try to ship the item to me. They already took the $8800 from my credit card account. This is FRAUD.

*Look at the original picture of the product posted on the website and then when I asked them to send me a picture of the actual unit, they are completely different.

Worst customer service I've ever encountered

When I call customer service, their computer recognizes my phone number and I'm told that based on what they anticipate I'm calling about, I'm not allowed to speak with a rep, but I can send emails. Since I was calling to tell them that they sent me an extra cardiac monitor valued at $600, I figured they must not care to get it back, so just left it at that. The next call I made was regarding a machine that I did pay for. It did not have a connection for a BP cuff, and since it was a patient monitor, that's pretty important. I got the same response to my phone call, so I started emailing. I was first told that the cuff wasn't warrantied. I said that the problem wasn't the cuff it was that the machine had no connection for the cuff. After emailing back and forth for 2 weeks, they again denied the claim, so I was stuck with a new, but useless cardiac monitor. Luckily the monitor fell off of the IV pole and broke. They do cover accidental damage, so I was able to return it then. I have no idea when I'll be getting the replacement. In the meantime, I ordered another cardiac monitor to replace the one that will probably take 3 months to return. 3 days after my order, I received an emal stating my order was canceled at their discretion. They send out junk and when you try to get it fixed they identify you as a problem purchaser and deny you the ability to purchase in the future. Let me also say that I had bought multiple IV pumps from them in the past, so I wasn't a one time shopper. The entire time that I was getting screwed over by these guys, each eamil had the slogan "100% satisfaction isn't just my goal, it's my job." What a joke. I would never recommend Acme Revival.

Worst customer service, ever

I was sent a $700 cardiac monitor for free. It wasn't ordered. When I tried to send it back, I was told my call wasn't valuable to them, but I could chat online. After 20 minutes of accomplishing nothing on chat I quit. A month later I realized that one of my cardiac monitors previously ordered had the wrong BP cuff so i decided to call again hoping to give back this free $700 machine if they would send me the BP cuff that actually matched the monitor that I did buy. Same thing. Wouldn't take my call so tried the online chat. You know, the one where they ask a question, take 12 minutes to respond, then ask another question that you had already answeered and then take another 12 minutes to respond? So i closed that down and sent a email. My reply was "sorry, the warranty doesn't cover the BP cuff." WTF. I wasn't asking about a warranty, i wanted the actual bP cuff that was meant to go with the machine I did order and if they would be so nice as to give me what they owed me, then I would make the effort to give them back their monitor that I didn't pay for. Oh well, anyone want a Welch Allyn Propac monitor with printer? I don't need it and evidently Acme doesn't either.

100% Customer satisfaction is a joke
August 10, 2022

Ordered a centrifuge rotor. Product that we received was not the one that was pictured on the website. Picture on website indicates rotor with autolock feature, product we received did not have the autolock (Part # is the same). Contacted customer service for a return authorization immediately, which we received. However, because they then did not receive that item within their 14-day period they would not honor their 14-day return policy. There are plenty of other reputable used lab equipment sellers out there - this is not one of them. Buyer beware.

I ordered a device that was never received. I contacted UPS who opened a claim and it was determined that the package was lost. They referred me back to Acme who refused to assist me with reordering or refunding. They have my money and I have no product. This is very unprofessional.

After having multiple bad attempts at ordering a working device off eBay, I found Acme Revival. They are by far the best source on the internet for used medical equipment. That being said- look at what you're ordering people! If you order an item from 1996 adjust your expectations accordingly! It's not gonna connect to your iPhone!

ACME has given me the best customer service ever. I ordered a wrong probe by mistake and immediately sent a message to ACME in a few minutes stating the mistake and requested a cancellation of the order, not really having any hope that the request would be honored. ACME just surprised me by helping me cancel the order without any hassle. This is a real company we can trust!
