My experience at Zumiez was great it was very vibrant and fun in there with lots of cool outfits and accesories the other great part was the customer service This sweet lady named Bella was very helpful kind and really made the visit feel at ease and memorable will definitely be going back there I totally recommend it
Be careful what you order from this company! They won't let you return any clearance items back to your local store. I tried to contact "customer service" and they wouldn't even provide me with a return label. There is no mention of it during the checkout process.
I walked in and was politely introduced by this young lady named Del, she helped me get a pair of vans which I absolutely adore. I go to pay and another lady named Genesis told me about a 3 for $12 sock deal so I checked them out and while I was there this fella named Juan came by and was showing me the more exclusive socks and was really good in his entrepreneurship. So good, I ended up buying a pair he recommended. He helped me at the register along with another young lady named Jesi who was incredibly charismatic and showed great customer service skills. I was in awe at the service I received. They were kind, funny, entrepreneurial, polite, and they even complimented my wardrobe. Beyond amazing service, and all those workers deserve a bonus or some type of award for their customer service. Could not asked for better. I never write reviews but they made me want to leave a positive one.
Placed order on Black Friday. Made a mistake with billing info, called customer service and was taken care of immediately by a very friendly Rep. Got an email on Saturday 11/29
That there was a problem with the stock of some of my items and that they would look for the items at the store level. Got an email on Monday 12/01 that they found all items and order was on the way. Great service. Never an issue when ordering with Zumiez.
Was given a pair of shoes as a Christmas gift. Opened them to find not only were they used, but whomever returned them literally walked around with dirt on the bottom of their feet while wearing them. A little wear n tear maybe I could deal with but this was just dissapointing and disgusting. How are they ok with reselling returns like that?! Hopefully once we return them we get a NEW pair.
I ordered a penny nickle board from Zumiez.com. The board took almost 3 weeks to get here and when I finally got it, the box was beat up and not taped together that good. I took the board out of the box to find it wear on the tail indicating somebody had ridden it before they shipped it to me. This is very disappointing for a store that impresses me in person.
Now when I ordered through there website and it was my first time, since it wasn't Amazon I was expecting longer shipping, but they exceeded my expectations. They were extremely quick and have a great package tracker. They also left me a little note in my receipt telling me my choice in clothes was "sick" and gave me a pack of stickers for free! Amazing service
Sweet skate boarding and snow boarding gear. Zumiez doesn't have too many coupon codes out there, but if you sign up for their email list (I just put in a separate folder so I don't have to look at them all the time) they send out free shipping and other discounts and promos from time to time. Good to get snowboarding stuff in the spring/summer etc.
I ordered a pair a shoes two weeks back. Got the shoes pretty quick but when I tried them on they were two different sizes. Contacted them and told them what happened and they said once I dropped off the shoes at UPS they would express ship me another pair. This was Friday and I finally received an answer back today asking for my address. Ummm... should my shoes already been shipped? Never shopping here again. I'll go to Rue21, Dillard's and BC skate shop before I ever go here again.
I ordered a pair of broken promises roller skates. I was sent two LEFT feet. The box was extremely EXTREMELY terribly packaged in a huge box and mangled when it got here, which I could have dealt with fine. But once I saw there was two left feet I tried to contact customer service, no answer for an entire hour. Their customer service is nonexistent. So I ended up having to call my local zumiez, they were very very helpful in getting me a new pair, however the design I wanted was completely sold out so that was extremely extremely disappointing especially for the price I got them for. All I'm trying to do in this review is save someone else the hassle of this, especially since I don't have a vehicle myself and I had to take expensive Lyfts down to zumiez. Please just go into zumiez if there's one near you, the people are helpful and you can try things on to make sure they're properly made and packaged. Their online service is the worst customer service I think I have ever recieved. As you can see in the photos aswell, only one skate had a bag around it. They also threw about a million stickers in there so I believe they knew something in the order was wrong. This was just supposed to be a Christmas present to myself so it just sucks that it had to turn out this way. Luka the manager at Arden fair was very helpful though.

It's a very bad experience.
They charged me $38 in shipping and they delivered me the wrong size in my pants which means I have to pay again for an exchange. I send them an email saying I was not happy and they reply with some bull$#*! excuse that their office isn't working. Not happy.
I ordered something over a month ago and still have not got my order! After many attempts to fix this I still have not received anything! On one attempt it was sent back but no one contacted me and they kept the money out of my account?! Horrible service! I still have not received my stuff and have been charged for it
I have never been a big fan of their products but I know plenty of people who love their website and stores. Christmas is coming up so I purchased an expensive chain from them for my boyfriends present. The chain came and it looked nothing like the picture and I absolutely did not want to give it to my boyfriend so I paid $15 to send the chain back and I have not received a refund or anything. I have contacted the company 4 times and they have not even given me a response back. This happened early November and it's December still being ignored and still have not gotten my $125 back. The product was in perfect condition when I sent it back, this is disgusting behaviour from them and I don't think I will ever buy anything from them again.
We live in Canada and found the items we wanted at the US site. We placed our order and after waiting for weeks, not only was the border fees more than anticipated, the items were not what we had ordered. The sizes were wrong (ordered large and got small) and the hat we ordered looked like it was kicked around on the floor for awhile before they sent it. When we called to look at getting the items returned and get what we had wanted, they said they would send a return slip and refund us, but the border fees are our own problem. When asked when we could get the items we ordered, they said that it was on us to contact them in the future to see if it is in stock.
Don't recommend to anyone. Customer service doesn't care about the customer or the state of the items being shipped.
That's the worse service what I can receive I buy my jewelry and they said it don't go charge of color and when I come back to ask why it change they say that's not them problem I never go buy there no more they got a the worse customer service. This was the first time I ordered something from Zumiez. They delivered one of the items very fast and there was an issue with the second item. I called customer service that was solved the problem quickly.
We bought our niece her first pro deck for her 13th birthday and the experience was phenomenal. Not only was the staff personable and friendly but they extremely knowledgeable! They believed in the products they were selling. Good customer service is a hard thing to come by anymore, the Zumiez team in Millard NE's Oakview Mall is one the reasons we still like to buy our sweet gear in person. Kudo's guys, you rock. You helped make this day unforgettable. We will be back.
I ordered my packages at which I paid expedited shipping for and the dates of the order kept changing. They kept telling me to wait x amount of days and resolved nothing. I have not received my packages and they have did nothing but kept opening claims at which has been going on for about 3weeks now. They do not resolve the situation at hand and basically says it is out of their hands. I will never order from this site again.
Answer: Zumiez is terrible at shipping to any country that isn't the USA, and the custom fees and taxes to deliver to Canada are ridiculously exorbitant.
