When I get an email from zumies.com, it will say "sale, up to 85% off". There is nothing close to even 50% off. Most things are $15-$20 off, and its more like you are paying 85% of the regular price. Whats up with that?
Terrible company. Bought shoes from them in my regular size, and they didn't fit at all. Sent them back and it costed me $12 to ship. Requested a refund over the phone and was assured it if I emailed pictures of the receipt. Got an email back saying the only thing they could do was send me a gift card instead, when I had already bought new shoes elsewhere. Took then weeks to respond through email. Don't bother with this company. Go elsewhere.
I'm with the military and live overseas. I have an APO address BUT, it goes through a service center in the US so its domestic shipping. My order qualified for FREE shipping, but once it read that I had an APO address it wanted to charge $16 for shipping. I called the service center and was told they don't honor free shipping for APO/FPO addresses, so i just removed an item and my bill was $47 but shipping made it a $63 order. What makes me angry is that it doesn't cost them extra to ship it there because it's still domestic. I am disgusted by this money grab at the people who serve our country. Absolutely horrible, DO NOT SHOP THERE!
I ordered some shoes online for Christmas presents a day chose to get one for myself. I wore these $40 vans for approximately 12 hours total, most of which sitting but some walking in our dusty warehouse at work. When I went to put them on again I noticed the rubber sole was tearing apart from the rest of the canvas shoe. When I called to ask about the best way to return them I was told I could pay to ship them in to the warehouse however it would likely be deemed normal wear and tear since I had worn them. I am appalled, I paid for vans hearing all of my friends say they were great quality but truth be told the defective pair I got didn't hold up as long at the $5 pair I bought at Walmart and this company distributing them doesn't care at all!
Never order from zumiez online last year, they made me verify my own order with a confirmation that took over an hour to complete because their security check is so bad and unorganized. Was on the phone with them for an hour to verify my order and had to tell them what my total price was or some stupid crap like that. And this year same issue with a credit card saying it was the bank when it was them. Do not order from zumiez ever.
There was an uncommon glitch when putting in my postal/zip code, I emailed them and they responded extremely fast with much detail and apologies and how to be able to put through my order. I had already put it through so the team member (Kevin) checked that it was going to the correct address and was very quick to reply and help me out. Great clothing range, great prices, and a team of quick and reliable customer service. I'm very excited to receive my order! Definitely recommend Zumiez. :)
Read the reviews decided To a pair of adidas from this company anyway cause I liked the look. But When it arrived it a beat up box, I opened it and I was shocked! My left shoe I ordered had pink lipstick or some bull$#*! on the ALL WHITE LACES... was really upset about this... not to mention the left shoe was obviously worn in cause the tongue is all scratched up amd I had to clip some strands that were already coming out which is not a good sign. And it's less clean than the right shoe. I just don't understand how someone could do that if your a professional lol. Got my package on time that's about the only good thing that came out of this transaction. Kinda bummed In my zumiez purchase and it all seems too much to try and get my money back so a whole new pair would be nice...
Wish I had just bought from inside the store highly Reccomend future shoppers to do so. You should get what you payed for. I didn't order used adidas But it seems like that's the case...
Ordered a t-shirt on the 10th of December. Immediately after my purchase, I got an email that my order was shipped. Today, almost 4 weeks later, the status of my order remained the same. The package is still in Kenner, LA, and wasn't even shipped, the liars! I called DHL customer service, the -very friendly- lady on the phone told me that the order was never even ready for shipping and she recommended me to reclaim my money. I already tried to contact Zumiez by filling in the support-form 2 times, to get 2 times the same automatic generated email... I'm deeply disappointed. Online shopping is the only way to buy things these days, but experiencing an event like this, makes it very suspicious.
My package was delivered to the store instead of my home. I contacted the store today being December 22nd because I was not notified they had my items since Dec 13th. I spoke with Marcus and then Kate the manager at the Marlborough Ma. Store. Kate apologized. She then spoke with upper management and they agreed to overnight my pkg to me.
I did not receive my pkg in time for Christmas. If only I was notified on December 13th it could have been resolved long before Christmas day.
Btw E for express is not the same as overnight.
My son loves Zumiez so we will continue to shop there.
I'm really happy about my last purchase. It arrives safe and sound and the skateboard deck is in perfect condition, no tear at all on the shrink wrap.

I have ordered around five items from Zumiez and has had minimal problems. Their clothes are very nice, and I've never had a problem with their sizes. Some of my orders were very fast to ship, around three days. But there were others that took much longer, around two weeks. I have also contacted the support team to ask about certain items, and they were very helpful. I'm not sure why all these reviews are leaving only 1 star because the quality of the website is nice. Shipping would be my only concern. I would still highly recommend ordering from this website.
After an issue with a Christmas purchase for my son, I contacted Paul, District Manager of Zumiez' Ithaca NY store. Paul addressed my issue in an extremely timely manner, and made the situation right. He was absolutely great! Paul has restored my faith in Customer Care for sure! So let me explain. I ordered from their site some sandals a month ago and the tracking never updated, so I wrote them to check whats going on. Never heard anything from them. Then I wrote a mail to DHL to check if they have messed up my order, but they told me that Zumiez never handed over my package to them. Tried to contact their customer service 3 times now but never heard back from them..
My experience at Zumiez was great it was very vibrant and fun in there with lots of cool outfits and accesories the other great part was the customer service This sweet lady named Bella was very helpful kind and really made the visit feel at ease and memorable will definitely be going back there I totally recommend it
Be careful what you order from this company! They won't let you return any clearance items back to your local store. I tried to contact "customer service" and they wouldn't even provide me with a return label. There is no mention of it during the checkout process.
I payed for a Jean and free shipping and it never came fed ex lost it so I tried buying it again so it will come tomorrow so it will ship faster but it says it will come in a week I basically spent 200 dollars for 1 Jean
I walked in and was politely introduced by this young lady named Del, she helped me get a pair of vans which I absolutely adore. I go to pay and another lady named Genesis told me about a 3 for $12 sock deal so I checked them out and while I was there this fella named Juan came by and was showing me the more exclusive socks and was really good in his entrepreneurship. So good, I ended up buying a pair he recommended. He helped me at the register along with another young lady named Jesi who was incredibly charismatic and showed great customer service skills. I was in awe at the service I received. They were kind, funny, entrepreneurial, polite, and they even complimented my wardrobe. Beyond amazing service, and all those workers deserve a bonus or some type of award for their customer service. Could not asked for better. I never write reviews but they made me want to leave a positive one.

That there was a problem with the stock of some of my items and that they would look for the items at the store level. Got an email on Monday 12/01 that they found all items and order was on the way. Great service. Never an issue when ordering with Zumiez.
Was given a pair of shoes as a Christmas gift. Opened them to find not only were they used, but whomever returned them literally walked around with dirt on the bottom of their feet while wearing them. A little wear n tear maybe I could deal with but this was just dissapointing and disgusting. How are they ok with reselling returns like that?! Hopefully once we return them we get a NEW pair.
Answer: Zumiez is terrible at shipping to any country that isn't the USA, and the custom fees and taxes to deliver to Canada are ridiculously exorbitant.
