I think it's a scam, it's like they have all these pics that you go thru, but nobody on the other side of the pics,
DO NOT USE ZOOSK! - The below opinions are mine and formed from personal experience and may not reflect the experience of the average Zoosk user. Zoosk promises to show single people in your area for your promise to pay money. They failed me and I feel defrauded of my purchase.
I cannot say how the platform works for hard line internet, but I have Satellite internet and Zoosk appears to work poorly with satellite. Zoosk presents two primary search options. One is a standard filtered search, which mostly shows singles in your area (not always). The other search option is Carousel, which is akin to a Tinder swipe experience. Carousel is especially bad at location services. For example, I live in OKC, but I am mostly paired with Dallas singles, and today I was placed in the Pacific NW search area. In short, the location services seem flawed if you use satellite. Zoosk seems designed noto just make money, but to pirate money. Upon purchase of a membership, you will be able to send likes/messages to people of interest. But, if they are not a paid member they cannot message you back. To allow for non subscription members to respond, you must pay an additional $10 (appx) per month. Zoosk also has coins, gifts, profile boosts, and other gamified products and it all costs.
It is my opinion that Zoosk uses a form of contract adhesion. An adhesion contract is an agreement where one party has substantially more power than the other in setting the terms of the contract. Here, Zoosk unfairly places customers in a bad contract using omission and legal language to lure people into a contract that does not provide what a reasonable person would expect on a communication platform - the ability to have two way communication with matches.
Speaking of matches, using Zoosk, I had one legitimate contact in about a four days. By contrast, I received three legitimate contacts from Hinge in about twelve hours. Because of this, I suspect many of the profiles are expired or fake. TI am certain in one case because I know a person on Zoosk who is now married with twins (over a year). Like I said, it is difficult to disengage with Zoosk and it seems very difficult to delete a profile. That means you are being promised a legitimate dating pool and likely being provided with a significantly diluted one.
That brings us to the final rub, Zoosk is a monster to disengage from because the site is not set up for easy or quality user support. Upon enrollment, you are automatically enrolled in a payment program. However, Zoosk has hard to find and use support so you will have to put effort into disengaging and avoiding future auto payments. Furthermore, while you are suspending your account Zoosk will show you pictures of beautiful people that are suddenly a match for you as enticement to stay. I fell for it once, to no avail. In short, I believe Zoosk is at best a poorly managed site and worst, a magnificent scam.
It really would be a great website, the only problem is all the scammers on the website. You would think that there is something the IT department could do to fix this. I was really lucky and could a "real" woman and we really hot it off.
I am certain they send a lot of bot profiles fake profiles your way to keep you keen in the hope you will extend your membership. Reason I say bots is I have found the profile pics on other dating sites and they NEVER reply to messages. I have had zero success meeting anyone and their technology is flawed. The online section is not accurate and it throws up the same profiles over and over again for being online. The updates are not accurate either. You can get an email stating someone viewed you then click on VIEWS and nothing comes up. Most females just view and move on (super picky). I think there are better dating sites and I will not be renewing membership.
This has to be one of the pathetic crappiest worthless scam sites possible. They actually make up tons of fake profiles and the amount of ignorant worthless scammers is hilarious. Do not waste your money!
Zoosk confirmed that someone created a false account in my name. They listed the account as verified, meaning that either the criminal also hacked my Facebook or email or that they falsely listed the account as verified. The hacker also made purchases with their own credit card to promote this fake account. I immediately took the profile down and contacted their fraud department. When I asked several times for the name on the credit card that was used for these purchases, I was informed that the privacy policy protects the criminal from releasing their name AND that they refunded the criminal. The exact wording is below:
"Dear Caitlin,
Thank you for your message.
As per our Privacy Policy, we cannot provide you with any personal information regarding the credit card used. However, the card wasn't yours and the rightful owner was refunded.
Best regards,
Johan de Jong

I'm glad I dropped all dating apps that I tried out! With their deceiving ways! Lying! Saying u can respond back free! Then when I did! I felt tricked!- when I found out No it's Not free at all! U can't even respond back!- without paying something! And it's Not worth it!- So I'll never waste my time like that ever again! Beware! Stay away!
I have tried this Dating site too!- along with a few others!+ They all was Nothing but a waste of my time! Believe me there are No free Dating sites that's 100 percent! There will always be a catch to it!- if they say anything is free! Try it for free!- it's all a lie! They want u to pay for it from the Start! So don't believe them if they say that! I know! So good luck with that! I'm done with them! I don't recommend!
Join the site 3 days ago, paid for a month subscription, use it for 3 days and they cut me off cannot contact anybody I would be interested in cannot contact anybody I go to contact somebody and it says subscribe now, couldn't contact anybody have no way to contact anybody they didn't reply to my email, what a scam!
Zoosk wants you to set mileage limits on how far you will travel for dating. I set my limit at 40 miles. They consistently showed me people that were 200,300,500 or more miles away. Many times they would show me people 1,000 miles away and more.
I wrote customer service 20 - 30 times and I never heard from them.
Don't waste your money on Zoosk.
It's all a scam noone on zoosk is real they are all just scammers, prostitutes and people selling content, it's just a money grab, the live "feature" is purely voyeuristic in its intent.
I have never meet talked to or text anyone on zoosk big waste of time and money, your told someone wants to meet you and then they cant be found. Did the shortest membership once that's done I'm done with zoosk, be better off using smoke signals
I paid for the subscription and I was not able to message or read messages. I could not get any help
Lots of fake profiles. No response from members when messaged. Also, not much info about members and initially, city where member lives is not shown, just how many miles away from your location.
I was a member of Zoosk for a few months however I quit after the amount of fake profiles became insurmountable.
My matches were ridiculously inappropriate with no regard to my search criteria. I contacted some of them but there was no reply. Zoosk is not a secure site. The level of real activity is 0.
By the way, Zoosk likes to add bogus charges: think twice before you get the paid subscription there, and if you do get it, make sure they don't put you on automatic renewal and don't charge you for a full year right away. Read the fine print!
First of all... does anyone on zoosk own a mirror? Or does zoosk think all I want are pictures of hairy unkempt mountainmen taking pictures of themselves in a dirty bathroom with titles like Lucky you? Scammers are also all over this site. I reported to zoosk but so far no action. He is still out there trying to fool women. This site is expensive... and what is with all the games? Peek a boo? Carousel? Buy coins to send a gift? Ugh! Run don't walk away from this site
I used this app, and it was going great for a while. Until one day, Zoosk started to double charge my bank account. I was locked out of my account as well. I tried to use the "forgot password" and couldn't receive an email for it. This is all after I added them to my safe senders list. Anyways, this service is very unreliable.
It's frustrating to waste money with no results. Zoosk is terribly slow and archaic with lots of dead profiles. They match you with people regardless of your search criteria. The carousel leads to nothing. Lousy and rotten site! They obviously mislead their customers giving them fake likes and matches. You get instant bot auto-responses. The longevity of profiles is tremendous, they are there for years, obviously outdated. Anyway, Zoosk was completely worthless in my experience. Search elsewhere, try other options, don't be fooled by Zoosk and don't let them con you into their shady and phony "dating" kingdom. Zoosk is worthless, time is precious!
Answer: These view are fake. Zoosk is lousy site! They obviously mislead their customers giving them fake likes and matches. You get instant bot auto-responses. I left to http://J4Love.net The result of my search there is incredibly awesome: I finally spent Christmas with my woman! I had wasted 11 months on Zoosk and then it took me just one month here to meet my perfect woman. Don't let Zoosk con you into their shady and phony "dating" kingdom. Zoosk is worthless, time is precious! The longevity of profiles is tremendous, they are there for years, obviously outdated.
Answer: The real matches are scant and located at distant places. The fake matches are abundant especially when your membership is about to end. It's phony. I met my girlfriend on http://J4Love.net This dating service is a lot better than Zoosk, Match, Tinder, etc. They are more professional with ethical approach to business - something that Zoosk lacks now. Zoosk used to be better couple of years ago, but now they suck.
Answer: ZOOSK, is a total RIPOFF
Answer: NO MA'AM IT IS NOT. In fact I only used the coins when I could get them for free. Under the system that's no longer possible. Nobody takes that sort of thing seriously, and for a woman it's even less relevant.
Answer: In the two months I have been on Zoosk. I have chatted with a number of woman, exchanged phone numbers and talked on the phone and I am just an average looking joe. I have also had times when I received a chat request and the person does not respond. You do have to pay to chat and the other person has to be a paid member. OK if your reading this there is one thing I found, if you search, only pay attention to the ones that say "recently online", the other ones may be fake or no longer active. It's a numbers game I have had many that did not respond to my messages also.
Answer: I believe it is. But how safe is the internet these days. Just don't be quick to give too much information too soon you will know when its right to share. Good luck
Answer: Not at all don't bother buying them just play some games u will get some
Answer: Chances are you're sending a message to someone that was a member long ago and isn't registered any longer. Zoosk is a total scam.
Answer: Unfortunatly not. You have to be a member. I suggest you don't try this site. It won't help you to find wat you're looking for. Cheers. R.
Answer: I can't believe you expect that! The whole idea is anonymity until people are comfortable with exchanging personal info.
