There is no direct phone or email to communicate with YouTube. What's that tell you? They terminate accounts on a whim and shove ads in your face every 5 minutes. Personally I'd like to see the whole thing get flushed like the turd it is.
Ordered a pair of dress pants first week of November. REceived them with button missing, returned them and have called several times about refund and no one can seem to figure out where my return is. Bad service. It h as s been almost 2 months since I returned them.
They don't tell you that they will not accept returns or exchanges if it was a clearance sale item. I am stuck with two items of clothing that are too small for me and cannot exchange for something else. So much for online shopping.
I found out about alloy in 2012 & feel in love with the company, however, sometime last year things really changed. I went from ordering nearly every month or so to honestly saying if they don't change I will never order from them again
I am new at Youtube and will not be staying. Copyrights are beyond ridiculous, getting very tired of uploading videos to have them rejected. I could not even find a phone number or email address to contact anyone.
For me since I'm using YouTube practically every day, as I'm not using to be just entertained but to be informed, as ignorance kills, I can choose to what to listen too, personally I think is an amazing site to find information and get knowledge, and over all i can say that most of the people who shares a video or gives information have been very responsible, by telling simple facts. It opened my eyes. Brilliant idea. Good job! Keep it safe.
When I first started using youtube it was more of a novelty than a resource. Mostly because it was limited by only what users wanted to show us. Since then though, the have expanded so brilliantly that now you can watch just about anything you could want. I go to the site at least 3-4 times a day to check on something new that might have been updated in my subscriptions or "of interest to me."
I like that you can find literally everything on YouTube. Seriously, whatever comes to your mind - it's all already on the site... Though recently a big amount of advertising has disappointed me, but the site is still irreplaceable.
Lately youtube has been an absolute nightmare. All of my videos get flagged or deleted, channels that I watch get taken down and the ads simply never stop and the related videos are always the same. Can't even use it as a basic video sharing platform anymore. If you're not some corporation with a dedicated team of lawyers you can't have your videos here.
I think I can stay on youtube forever and just can’t stop watching those funny animal videos. But the main idea is that I would like to thank youtube for many videos with reviews which I find very useful. Before buying electronics or anything else I always check youtube for a demo. And in most cases there are couple of good ones which show how people experience
It's ridiculous to see that YouTube has become this censored, and agenda oriented platform. You can no longer watch an informative video about a controversial subject without it being moderated by YouTube's opinions. In addition to this they play an absurd amount of ads which is incredibly annoying as YouTube used to be a good resource for free content. Now it has just become this greedy platform with unhealthy priorities.
What was once a brilliant platform for creative minded people to share ideas, comedy though is now increasingly turning into an incredibly censorship filled, corrupt and biased platform, Buffering issues also seem to be getting increasingly worse, even though for some reason ads always work perfectly.
I just watch some fun gaming or sports videos, so Youtube is my fav. Love it.
Some people earn money on likes or subscribers but it never bothered me, actually. If they work hard they should be paid for their efforts.
You can spend hours on this site. There are full CD downloads, some full movie downloads, amazing self-made videos, TV shows, your favorite music videos, how-to tutorials. This site has everything and is highly addictive. You can use it for both educational purposes and frivolous purposes. Either way is fine!
One major con:
-Read the comments below the video(s) at your own risk. They can be very rude and nasty. It's best to either block them and/or ignore them. Makes the YouTube experience much more fun if you don't read the comment section.
Recently after more than 20 years as a Google account holder my YouTube "channel' was suspended without warning and without any reason given. I was a YouTube Premium Family Plan subscriber. The service was particularly beneficial to my 79-year-old mother who liked YouTube and YouTube music. I didn't produce or promote content, and didn't engage in hate speech or offensive interactions with other users. I appealed, "suspension" upheld. Search shows many others have experienced same injustice.
I am sick of them removing comments that I have left and seeing them leave comments up over and over when it's liberals saying crap about conservatives. They got on to me once for typing the f word. I typed it fu#k I didn't even spell it out all the way but 3;comments before mine There was a person who used it several times and spelled it out.Do you think it got removed. Hell no
Finally found nice tall jeans (years ago). Now, they are not made as well, but worse yet is the return policy! I returned 4 pair of pants I purchased within one day of receiving them only to find out that they are just too darn busy to deal with giving people back their money. They say once it gets to the warehouse it takes them 14 to 21 days to "receive" it, inspect it, and process it. I have had several things I had to return to different places this year after Christmas and they were all completed within a week. Then they want to charge YOU for the shipping. After making you wait so long for your refund they ought to offer you interest!
Answer: Not less expensive if you are looking for tall clothing, however they used to have better quality items. There are other companies specializing in tall woman clothing that I can tell you are worth the extra money. Jeans made of real denim, mid-rise meaning just that, etc.
Answer: Beats me but I can tell you that reporting them doesn't do anything. It took a PETITION to get them (and FB) to get them to remove ONE channel with such content and that's just one channel out of a potential 2 million
