I started my own law firm from scratch about 4 months ago without any existing clients to start with. So far I’ve been with Yodle for 45 days, I’ve gotten a lot of exposure and they have provided me with a lot of clients, some good and some bad, but I’ve made back double my investment so far.
I have worked with Yodle for almost 2 years and have been very pleased with the results of our AD campaigns with them. We recieve 10-20 qualified leads per day and I review the leads (phone calls) to determine that they are qualified leads. Yes, we have a sizable budget but our industry is very competitive. As other reviewers noted, you can run your own campaign for less money BUT you have to have someone knowledgeable that has the time to manage it. It's much more cost effective for us to pay Yodle to manage the account, that way we can take care of all the business Yodle is sending our way!

Yodle makes us first on searches That makes it easier to find us on the internet. It even helps with our current customers. When they look up our number they just see us and they’re not reminded of our competition. Yodle covers us.
Yodle has not helped our business in any way. In fact, when the 3 month contract/agreement was up, Yodle took out hundreds of dollars from our bank account without telling us about it so they could renew the agreement themselves. When we called them to tell them we do not want to renew their services and asked for a refund, they stated "it is in the fine print that we can charge you" and would not refund us our money. Now we are stuck with a crappy service that we have NO control over for another month. YODLE IS CREATED BY SCAMMERS!
Anyone who only relies on traditional advertising has to know that it’s dead. It’s all about the internet and getting your name on google. Yodle set me up quickly with a great website and overall I’m happy with my results. I’ve even referred my friends who own businesses to sign up too.
All the reviews that are 5 star on here are people who have joined recently and only have one review. Basically current employees of Yodle.
These guys are hacks, they buy domains and attach websites to them and charge astronomical rates to their cookie cutter sites.

I started with yodle early in the start of my business and they’ve really helped to brand my company & marginalize us with the top planning companies. I’ve been with yodle for years now and I see an improvement in how many people actually see the website. And when I get calls or emails people are always saying how impressed they are with it. Having an impressive website is a huge positive for me.
I'm a photographer and I didn't do any marketing before Yodle, just word of mouth. It's been almost 2 months and I've gotten a few new customers, seen an increase in traffic to my site, and I show up first on Google. As a small business owner it's also nice that making changes to the website is as easy as sending a quick email and having Yodle take care of it. Maintaining a website takes a lot of time and I'm glad I don't have to do that.

My Physical Therapy business has used yodle for the last two months. This is what we have found:
The benefits we were sold on were a mobile web page being designed and ad placement in search engines designed to drive traffic to our company. Yodle did deliver on this... at a very affordable price.
At first, we were surprised at how much traffic they captured in a short time. They will link you company profile to your new mobile site, so be prepared that your organic ranking from your original web page may fall slightly in the first week or two.
We are now getting a steady stream of calls from both organic leads and paid ads. The bigger problem now is converting those calls to apppointments as we have traditionally had only "easier" type calls in the past. So if this is your case, be prepared with a receptionist training program to handle your new "toe in the water" type call... it's ultimately what we have done.
2 bonus features I was not of during the sales process with yodle:
1. All calls generated via their mobile page are recorded... this alone was worth it to us and allowed us to quickly recoup our costs (in less than 2 weeks).
2. A robust template of over 3,000 search words/tags shows us exactly where our traffic is coming from... extremely helpful and essentially free survey and market research for our other marketing items.

We have been using this site for a few months now and it definately has showed positive results. We have had more results than yodle perdicted. Worth the money.
Yodle is a great service for a reasonable price. I’ve been with the service for years and I moved up with rankings on google, bing, and yahoo where I’m covered on the 1st page. I still get 30-40 calls a month and my SEO is all taken care of without me having to worry about it!
Answer: I received a few leads that actually worked out. However, it wasn't enough to justify using them in the first place. The leads seemed to come in when I had signed up for their "google ads marketing" addition. So basically, the google ads provided 80%-100% of the leads, not Yodle. I Would've been better off spending my money on Google Ads written myself.
