Waste of money. They Sell you on service, then ask you to do all the work in their customer portal. Not one iota of valid marketing or value. DONT DO IT! There is a reason they are on the forbes list. For making money and locking people into contracts, not for service and real results.
Our company, Green Building Energy Services, has been collaborating with Yodle since 2013. The process to set up the account with Yodle was very straightforward. The campaigns (pay per click and organic) have yielded high qualified leads, which are ready to move forward with appointments for new and existing construction.
Additionally, the administrative web site is clean, simple, and easy to navigate and keep track of leads from the initial contact through converting the leads to new and repeat customers.
Green Building Energy Services will expand to additional locations working with Yodle in the future.
The phone is definely started ringing.
Still some tweaking to do but so far so good.

Yodle goes for the low hanging fruit. The phone rang, but the calls were from the easiest to target and hardest to make any money from. Out of the 50+ calls in the first two months maybe 10 were from my primary business area. I am not talking about conversions. Conversions are my job. These were non revenue calls and complaints. If you want to sit in your office all day and talk to people on the phone all day, give it a shot. If you need to make a living that justifies spending $1000 a month you would be better served with bidding $40 a click on AdWords yourself.

Great method of advertising on-line. They create a separate "Adversite" for each business. The calls that are made are recorded so they can be monitored by the owner/manager of the company. In short, it works extremely well. Much more effective than the previous advertising company we used for over 30 years.
I had signed up for this service, after a sales call. A day later I decided not to proceed, before I signed the agreement, but they HAD charged me. I was contacted by a very polite manager (Linzi), she spoke to me about my concerns, then agreed to refund the original charges and cancel. I was impressed how professional she was about this. Yodle is a top SEO compnay and I think they will be great fit for some business.

I'm attorney who signed up for Yodle last week. I was very skeptical, but took a chance. I was on the phone with the Yodle representative putting the finishing touches on my Adversite. The representative finished what he had to do for my adversite and then he told me that it went "live". A minute later my secretary came into my office and said there was a new client on the phone and that I must pickup. Mind you, I was still on the phone with the Yodle rep. Long story short, it was a new client that called from the Adversite and I signed up the new case the next day. I could not believe it!
Brittany was so GREAT. She has helped me set up my online presence. I have tried by myself, but YODLE is the way to go.
The onboarding process was easy and smooth. Brittney was patient and professional, and very informative. We are already seeing the benefits.
We have been getting a steady amount of leads since switching to Yodle. Also the customer support is always immediate.

They will charge you a year later for no reason! Yodle is decent at marking themselves, but horrible at marketing other companies!
I highly recommend Yodle for website advertising. I am a Notary and was just getting started with my business. At the time, I was only getting maybe 2-3 Loan Closings a month. Now, after about a month and a half of using Yodle, I am getting almost 2-3 Closings a WEEK and Simple Quick Notarizing jobs have started coming in Daily that pay instantly which is a major help in surviving the month. Megan in the Billing department is absolutely awesome! She is very understanding of the struggles starting a new business and has been a life-saver to working with me to pay my bill with Yodle. My experience with Yodle has so far been excellent. I've not only learned a lot about internet marketing, but they've made it easy!
Answer: I received a few leads that actually worked out. However, it wasn't enough to justify using them in the first place. The leads seemed to come in when I had signed up for their "google ads marketing" addition. So basically, the google ads provided 80%-100% of the leads, not Yodle. I Would've been better off spending my money on Google Ads written myself.

You would be better off doing your own social media marketing, joining the BBB and Y and white pages of phone book.
