Waste Management Techs ARE Unprofessional, when they come on-site the tech gives my Maintenace staff a hard time, the techs never want to do their JOBS that they are paid to do!

They are now using a non- WM hauler and they combine recycled and regular trash in one trucker, so we are recycling and paying that service?

Keep very good track of your payments and confirmation number and account number Waste Management is great at saying payments weren't made!

I have lived here in Radcliff, Kentucky for nine years and I have always had two of the waste management, large trash cans, and two of my own that I have bought. They have always picked that up and now I if I set out a bag or anything extra on the side of my trash cans which me and my husband are both disabled. The trash man tells us that he can't pick them up that we have to pick it up and put it in the trash or self because he's not allowed but he picks up all of the neighbors trash like broken down fans chairs whatever but yet he won't do ours and then I came home today and I had three trash cans sitting out and they only picked up one can so I called and they informed me that I don't pay for the other two so therefore they're not picking it up anymore they want me to pay an extra 150 some dollars for just one more trashcan per year and then I was told if they come out to pick up the extra trash, they would charge me $75 but that's just for the green trashcan. They wouldn't pick up the trash out of the black trashcan but my neighbors have two trash cans and black trash cans and I have a few neighbors that has all that and they pick up all of that every week, but conveniently they won't pick mine up. But they're allowed to do whatever they want to the customers because I was told from the mayors office that he has a contract with them so therefore we can't go anywhere else for our trash service which I don't think that's fair. That sucks I'm sure he gets all of his trash picked up and here are some pictures for proof, the black trashcan with my trash in it. I don't have proof of payment because I pay over the phone but I do pay for a year at a time.
Unreliable service (many missed pick ups with no compensation or effort to correct), over priced and poorly trained customer service reps. I cancelled service on 1-17-22, received confirmation that autopay was cancelled. Service rep said I was all set and that the cans would be removed on the 19th.
Half my cans were removed, half were not. I was also billed on 1-21-2022 in the full amount for services that were not yet rendered.
Some History: On 1-5-22 a trash can was not emptied which was a frequent occoruance, and reported requesting it be picked up. I was told they would get it on the next pick up day (1-12-21). The following week 1-12-22 a different trash can was again missed, I again requested that they come and pick up two cans worth of trash. I was told they would service as usual the following week (1-19-21) and that I could place out bagged trash instead. That was the final straw, I requested cancellation on 1-17-2022. It is now 1-27-22 (two scheduled service days have come and gone) and I was told the cans will now be removed on 2/2/22. I was also told that the billing was my fault for not going back into my account and cancelling the autopay manually (the agent said nothing of the sort during my call to cancel, she said I needed to do nothing further and that I was all set), including the confirmation email I received saying autopay was cancelled on the 17th. Poor communication.
My final bi-monthly bill for 4 trash cans, 1 blue and 1 green can serviced weekly was $181.23! I switched to EDCO, I am getting a 5th trash can and will be paying HALF the price.
Do yourself a favor and avoid WM.
Also, they try to charge a $75 cancellation fee, refuse it and they will remove it.

Driver came to pick up, I asked him to confirm that it would be only an extra $10 to keep the container an extra day. He went back to his truck, made a call, came back and confirmed it would be $10 for them to pick up the next day. Three months later I get an email explaining I owe $6.66; however, following link to their website, I found an invoice for $273.19. Astounded by the charge, I assumed an error occurred on their side and called customer service. Inquiring about the charges, the agent explained that there was a charge of over a hundred dollars for "refusing the driver" and the rest appeared to be late fees associated with not paying this down. I asked what could be done about this as a representative of the company (the driver) had confirmed the price ($10) and I would have otherwise been glad for him to take it and throw the last couple things I had in with my regular trash. This representative was rude and tried to explain to me repeatedly why there was a charge, which I made clear I already understood at this point. The question was how we were to resolve the issue. When the representative said she was trying to explain 'why' to me again, but that I was cutting her off (I respectfully was, this was the third repeat), I asked for a manager. After some time a manager came on the line and said she would take care of this issue and remove the charges (after 40 minutes on the phone). I was so relieved! HOWEVER, we were then disconnected and I am now just hoping this supervisor calls me to finish resolving the issue.
*update* I called back and asked for a call back from a supervisor through automated system. I received a call back, was patched through to a personable supervisor that finished removing excess charges from my account. If the first representative had been less rude, it would have been four stars. UPDATE* IT IS SEPT 2ND AND I JUST GOT A BILL FOR THE SAME INITIAL $274 AND THE AGENT I CALLED ISN'T ABLE TO SEE THAT THE MATH DOESN'T ADD UP. MORE TIME AWAY FROM WORK TO FIX THIS. I AM DONE WITH THIS COMPANY AND IF THIS IS NOT RESOLVED I AM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I JUST HAD SUPERVISOR HANG UP ON ME AFTER I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH HER SUPERVISOR.
