We ordered a specific food item and received a completely different product (not a substitute, something COMPLETELY WRONG). After speaking with 5 different people over a 2 week timeframe, each of whom asked me the same questions, we are continuing to wait for them to let us know how they are going to fix the problem. It is the most disorganized company we have ever worked with and their customer service is a big disorganized mess. Save yourself time, $, and frustration by not doing business with them.

Purchased a bed and end tables from this company. The bed was turned around by Fedex as having been destroyed in shipping. When i tried to get a refund the company reversed the Tracking #s from the tables to the bed and said i accepted delivery. Oddly i read here that others have had the same type of experience I am going to file with the ftc and see if that helps so far they have stoled $ 250 from me

I purchased an item in May 2020 through Amazon. When I received it, it was defective. Because they are not a "Prime" vendor I had to go directly to VirVentures. I was initially asked to send photographs of the defect, which I did. Then I was instructed to return the item back to them. I was told that once received back and the warehouse confirmed the defective they would reimburse me for my return shipping costs (and that is what is stated in their return policy). After several days since it was received back at their warehouse, I still hadn't heard from them, so I initiated contact again and provided proof of delivery along with the receipt for my shipping costs. To not turn this into a manuscript, I will just tell you it is now mid-September, and after several more back and fourth's with them, along with phone calls to Amazon customer service, I received an email Sept. 15 telling me that they will not reimburse me because I did not wait for their mailing instructions before mailing it back. What the H? And yes, as some of the other complaints mention, you can never reach them on the phone. It's just a recording. If you leave a message you will never hear back from them. Some very uncaring and unprofessional people are running this company. Every email from them ends with "We strive to offer you the best value and services possible. Your satisfaction is our utmost priority. Please feel free to contact us for any further queries. We will be delighted to serve you again in the future!" Ridiculous

Avoid this company

I ordered an AC from Walmart.com. Bit Ventures was a third party seller through them. According to tracking info which changed the item was delivered in 1 day. Only problem is it was delivered in a city I don't live in and have never lived in. I have contacted Walmart and Vir Ventures and nothing. After seeing this I can see this is a regular occurrence and wonder how Walmart can allow this to keep happening.

Product was great, it simply did not fit my vehicle. Seller (VirVentures) is the by far the worst company I had a pleasure of dealing with. Returns are accepted but it is a nightmare trying to get anything back to them. When they finally accept a refund, you are expected to cover the shipping. That's understandable although that practice is being fazed out by many other companies. Two weeks after the package reaches their provided return address and I hear nothing from them. Did not receive a single dollar back. Upon contacting the seller, then Amazon, then the seller again in the span of four days, I received an e-mail telling me they would issue a refund in 3-5 days after they deduct a 20% restock fee. Wait, what?

Do not purchase merchandise from this company. Horrible customer service. Nobody will answer the phone. The table I ordered 60 days ago never arrived and I can't get in touch with anyone to issue a refund. Just bogus emails and never a returned phone call.

Stringent return policy

Ordered Winsome Sophia Snack Tables advertised by Amazon. To start with AMAZON Shelly y Polices do not include specifics such as the stringent policies of this company and furthermore does not protect customers of bad companies advertising in their website.
Vir Ventures captures unaware customers in buying their second class products and were the sale is closed the probability or return bad products leaves customers scammed of their money with a limited number ways of return items they do not like after receiving them.
Demand Amazon to publish very specific return policĂ­es on what they sell and do not support companies such as this one!

Was on eBay finally found the faucet I wanted clicked on it bought it and then all of a sudden a different picture of another faucet came up and it went through I cancelled it immediately and then they said it was already shipped wouldn't cancel it shifted the box came crushed and opened then they wouldn't take it back ask for a picture and then that wasn't enough they wanted me to open the box so there I would be with an open box and then at that point I couldn't even sell it I told him I wouldn't open the box and it was a lady named Sandra couldn't believe the hassle what a rip

Completely ignores their own policy for defective umbrella stand. They will not send return label.
They even sent a replacement after I specifically said that I did not want a replacement!

I purchased a 20 lb. Slam ball or wall ball from this company and Amazon approved the return. They asked me not to use Amazon to return but to go through them. Worst mistake. Not only do they take 15% to 25% restocking fee, you also have to pay for the shipping which is 10x higher than what they paid for shipping. So if I were to return it I would pay more for the return than I paid for the ball. I also called several times and they do not return phone calls. So if you purchase an item make sure you do not have to return any of the items. It was a gift and now i am stuck with the item and can't use it. Very disgusted customer. I will not buy from them again.

Got damaged chair, leather was cut or ripped and NOBODY AVAILABLE AT ALL. Open an investigation through PayPal but since I paid with my debit, money is GONE.
Looked and there are hundreds saying the say!
Reporting them to BBB now.
It's been months.

I bought a white office chair from this sham company from the Houzz website. 10 days after I bought the chair, the padding literally flattened. The chair is a piece of crap. I reached out to Houzz, one time - no response. Two times no response. I call my bank to dispute the charge on my card and magically Houzz and VirVentures replies back to me but guess what? They tell me because my return window has closed they will not help me - will not return or exchange the chair and basically told me to stop emailing them

HORRIBLE! SCAM!

HORRIBLE! Do NOT buy from this seller. I made an order and it has still not arrived (it is now five days after estimated delivery). ABOVE ALL ELSE: I have been trying to get a hold of customer service for the past two days regarding my purchase. No one answers. I called their drop ship service where someone answered, said he would transfer me to call service, I said please don't no one will pick up, to which he replied if no one picks up we will call you back in 13 minutes. NO ONE PICKED UP, and they NEVER called me back. Total SCAM!

I would give them no stars if I could. False advertising, liars, theives... pick one. They advertised a twin low loft bed with the dresser, bookcase and the pull out desk for $177... ive got pics to prove it. I took apart my kid's bed expecting 2 twin low loft beds... i got 2 dressers thats it and they wouldn't fix the problem. They wouldn't send me the beds I ordered and my kids were sleeping on the floor. And I had to fight them tooth and nail to send them back the dressers and get a full refund. But I haven't gotten my refund yet for $377... so we'll see... not counting on it. Worst experience of my life and Amazon wouldn't let me post my review stating the truth about VirVentures.

Terrible service

According to tracking, my order from Walmart was delivered in Ohio on 6/13/20. Unfortunately, I live in Ventura, Ca. My repeated calls to Vir Ventures have been unanswered... and 4 calls to the Walmart Customer service robot were all disconnected.

Buyer beware big time. If you make the innocent mistake in ordering a product via Walmart that is arranged to be shipped by these imposters, don't hold your breath! I ordered an Air bed in April it's now mid June and I don't even have a tracking number established. Walmart has no idea where my paid for Air Bed is and nobody has any idea on how to reach the Shipper for answers. Please don't be a victim of these Zombies.

Terrible shopping experience! Spend your money elsewhere! My first and last experience with Vir Ventures! Problems already before receiving the product, as the shipping weight was too light as noted from delivery tracking information. The wrong product was ultimately confirmed when received (shipping receipt value $12 USD), which consisted of replacement parts for the item originally ordered ($63). Virventures failed to verify the correct item. I immediately started return process on the day of receiving the incorrect product, which resulted in back and forth messaging over 8 days, through the Best Buy.ca website with a virventures representative, of what product I received and a picture of it. Virventures escalated the problem to the manufacturer, and I escalated the problem to Best Buy, by noting virventures was not adhering to their own seller return policy for "**In the event that product is unavailable, you will be refunded within 48 business hours" & virventures offered me a partial and scam-worthy refund of only 50%. When I mentioned this as being fraudulent activity to both virventures and Best Buy, and also with having an extremely negative experience with the authorized marketplace seller, I was refunded quickly 100%. Virventure's seller's page said "Happy Shopping!"... this is the complete opposite of my experience with this company, so... DON'T!
