The customer service was friendly & helpful, very easy locating merchandise, Comfortable apparel. I think I'm in love very great store for me to get everything I need for my husbands military job! And it's actually a peaceful place for conversation and leaves opportunities for Vets to reconnect!
I ordered a US Army fleece jacket for my father but it was a size too small. I called Customer Service & it was no problem. Even exchange. He loves the jacket & had his correct size within a couple of days.
I ordered a hat for my brother, received within a week. Then I ordered a pin, received in a week. Fast delivery and easy purchases. Quality is very high.

I recently joined just to try to locate some old Army buddies through their Vet Finder database. It worked somewhat for one out of the five I searched... the others were not listed. As for the merchandise, I saw an Army-style 90 degree angle head Olive Green flashlight being offered on their website for over $40. I think they're $10 or less in the Exchanges. I don't know if their other products are similarly overpriced. Also, I'm getting WAY too many emails from VetFriends; finally had to designate them as SPAM so they go straight to my Junk Folder instead of cluttering up my Inbox.
We at Glendale Daily Planet are doing a news story on useful services for Vets... Big question... is the lookup database more than what is avail for free elsewhere no reply from them. To what we have seen this is a product sales organization offering few if any outbound services that you can find anywhere else. Response to email was disappointing... Sad as it initially sounded so promising. I had to unsubscribe from their list mailer as I seemed to get an overwhelming amount of sales messages. Yet... the few emails I sent to them about the search service did not get replied to.
PLEASE if anyone can reply to me on the database please do.

Glendale Daily Planet, the databases that are made available to our paid memberships are the main reason for our company. The other services that are available on our site are the extras that have been added from our response to our customer's needs. We have added a catalog portion to our company of military pride items. We have added a database for the country's many military organizations to add their information for our members to find others that they would have served with and can reunion with. We have many other pages of information to help those who have served to connect with others who have served. Please know connecting with others who have served is our primary objective. Our company is a small grassroots organization who has attracted many people, however, our popularity and usage of the site is usually sporadic, and not substantial enough to completely expand as much as we would like. We have a small customer service team that does all they can to respond to all of our customers.

Placed an order... they charged my account immediately. I have never received the order. Sent two e-mails and made three phone calls neither of which do they answer. Plan to advise BBB and write my congressman about this rip off organization that claims to "friend vets".

When I installed my new license plate frame, I noticed the part that was glued on to the frame was already separating from the frame. I wrote to VetFriends and got a standard "We'll get back to you in a few days" reply. They didn't so after a few weeks I wrote again and got the same canned message and NO reply. That makes it zero for two. There are other sources to buy veteran's items and that's where I'll do my future shopping. Never again with this company.
In looking into your order, I see two of our Customer Service agents responded to your issue. One responded via email and asked you to send a picture of your damaged frame to get a replacement frame shipped out to you immediately, there was no reply to our email to you. You emailed on 7/16 and were responded to on 7/17. You may want to check your spam or trash to see if the email was blocked. We may not be perfect, but we do not ignore our customers. To jump to that conclusion, doesn't give us the chance to correct the situation.
As the emailed response stated, we do apologize for the inconvenience. We have a sublimation department that makes the frames and with using humans, sometimes you run into human error. If you would like a quick replacement. Please send us a photo of the defect to support@vetfriends.com.
I placed an order on 7 May. I was charged immediately, but wasn't notified until almost a week later that they no longer carried the product. I was given store credit instead of offering a refund, but after some fuss was told that I would be given a full refund in 7-10 business days. It is now 14 June and I have seen nothing. Apparently they will only communicate via email, as I have been directed every time I have called and now when I look up the order it says completed?! How can it be completed with no product and no refund?!
Think vet friends is a scam I paid for life time member ship and can't even get a card I thought they were part of veterans org. Which they are not they want answer a call or email veterans are a great bunch of people and they dot deserve this

I ordered from this site for Christmas gifts. The site stated "shipped before Christmas ". However, not only was my order not sent, when I reached out to customer service, she was beyond rude and stated she would cancel my order. I asked for return information and she cancelled and issued store credit. I waxthen told my item has still not shipped, 2 weeks after I initially placed the order. So disheartened as this site states it represents military service men/women.
This site seems to be a scam.

I didnt believe the bad reviews at first. As my 1st year membership closed, they beat me to the bank to get another years larceny, before I could stop them! I thought canceling the membership would halt the levy, but no!
So, inquired online if my money would be refunded - no response.

Avoid. Their credit card "acceptor" seem inoperable. What a mess. Took my order, and all my info, but could not OR would not allow me to enter my credit card number. I was ordering my Shellback cap at your "discount" price.
If you were to return to the site, I am quite sure the issue is resolved and the credit card "acceptor" will be running smoothly, as we have not had any halt in online sales. We do not have a faulty site. There are times in every website available on the internet that there are unforeseen issues that create problems for those who enter the site. Anything that you encountered on our site was temporary and has not been reported by anyone else. But I do thank you for attempting to warn your fellow veterans in regards to a site that you believed was inoperable.
They shipped me the wrong item. My receipt has listed the right item but shipped the wrong item. Left 5 phone messages and they have yet to call me back to fix mistake. Sent them an email, received a return email with case # but never received an email back. I believe this company is a scam.
Giving them 1 star is to many. Write this off to experience.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing from them. I was billed for two items I never ordered. After, contacting them, I was told one of the items had been shipped to me. I explained why would I order a Vietnam item when my husband served in the Korean War. What scam artists.

You can add “Amy: Sitejabber” in the subject line if you want. It is impossible for us to order on your behalf. If you accidentally clicked submit twice it may have ordered twice. This may be why we only sent one. We may have reached out to you about the duplicate or submitted a refund for the second identical item.
To be fair, most reviews are not updated by customers once a problem is cleared up. We are a small, veteran owned business formed in 2000 with a new mobile-friendly site coming this spring. The best and quickest means of resolution is directly through our website. We don’t typcially search review sites for complaints.
I will keep an eye out for your update on Sitejabber to confirm this matter has been taken care of and hope we will have earned kinder words at that time.

They claim orders are shipped within 3-5 business days which isn't true! When you contact them they don't respond in 2 business days like they claim! They take your money out of your account in a matter of minutes and then nothing, no response, and no product! It's a scam!
I made a purchase through the website and added a discount code. The order was put the order as with the discount but charged my credit card the full amount. I have emailed and called and called with no response. Email was not answered... phone calls are put on hold and then say they are having technical difficulties. For a week?

If you ordered something like the dog tags, those take about 10 business days before we ship them due to the customization process.
