I have made one order, a jacket, and will make no more. The order was online and when it arrived, it was so crumpled and wrinkled it is unwearable. When I contacted Venus via live chat they actually hung up on me in the middle of my typing my response. The rep stated, as she hung up, that she did not have all day to wait for my response. This establishment is HORRIBLE!

I order a blouse for my mom on her birthday on sept 20 2019 I received a message I understand the package is on the way send my num to know where is my package but I could not enter to know where it was I call customer service the person told me that she also had problems to know where my package was so she suggested to order again but the is out the stock I tell her I wait for the last order so I wait until sep 30 2019 I received another message to tell me that my package was being delivered but never arrived my mom was at home all day she was looking but nothing to bad because I wanted to buy for my self

I've purchased from them for years but you have to be careful one outfit I purchased with was a Sweatshirt/Shorts washed it always on delicate and blue fabric shed all over my washing machine and the fabric was so then with all the stuff that shed off I couldn't wear it because you can see through it and of course they have the worse return service as you can see from all the reviews and also they sent me a discount on future purchase but I couldn't get free shipping on that order they don't double discount unlike all their competitors. The shipping is extremely slow at least 10 days. I spend a lot online so I always try Boston Proper much better quality great customer service as quick shipping. Macy's is the best deals better prices better quality and on their free shipping I've never had anything take more than 3 days to get here. I will still ocassionally order from Venus but it's less and less now

After waiting for 1 month for my order I called to find out they never even shipped it due to some bogus excuse, supposedly the payment Dept. Has a question for me. ( but they couldn't call me, they were waiting for me to call?) so customer service got my number and said they'll call me for sure that day. 5 days later no call and no order. NEVER AGAIN! Especially reading the other reviews about quality.

Just received my Venus order. Both dresses I ordered should be Small size. I usually wear small/medium. Both dresses turned out to be wayyyy to big. It's not even regular large size, it's more like Plus size. Very disappointed.

This includes sale items, clearance items and even swimwear that is in a new and unused condition. However, this policy does not cover final sale items. Final sale items can not be returned for an exchange or refund. If final sale items are returned, we are unable to re-ship the item to you or process credit for the item. Please fill out the Return form that came with your order. If you no longer have the Return Form, please e-mail us at socialsupport@venus.com and we will be happy to assist you. Please be sure to retain the tracking information from the label that you use. If you decide to use the prepaid label that came with the order and select to receive a standard refund to your bank card, we will deduct $6.95 from your return. You may also select to be refunded to your VENUS Wallet, which is an in-store credit or exchange the item for another item without any return fees being deducted from your return.
Like others have mentioned, they charge a shipping fee to return items and they say they don't charge for exchanged items. So I sent a return and an item to be exchanged in the same package, and still get charged the shipping fee. I also see that they are not going to credit me back the tax I paid on the returned item, which I believe is illegal.
It took quite a while to get my order, then waiting for them to process my return & exchange and send out the exchanged item - basically I ordered one of the items 2 months in advance of the event I needed it for, and I won't have it in time. Customer service gave short, unhelpful answers and only gave me exactly the information I asked for so I had to ask a million questions. I can find better clothes elsewhere without all this crap.

This company has the worst customer care i have ever experienced. They emailed me when they shipped my item then did not actually ship it for 3 days after that causing it be delivered late. I still have not received it. They told me to contact the carrier and i could return to sender or change delivery - for some reason it was missorted and sent to the wrong state. My carrier UPS said tha the seller - Venus has placed limitations not allowing any changes to shipments so i have no choice but to wait. They lie and make returning or changing anything impossible. It feels like a scam.

I purchased an item, it did not fit so it was returned. Tag on, there was no liner as it was a top. It was w/in time frame.
Venus only gives partial returns, they take $6.95 for cost of shipping label.
Many competitors that do NOT do that!

We will process a full refund for what you paid for the merchandise you return. This means you will not be charged any return fees and you may still use the return label that we provide. Should you choose a standard refund to your card, we may deduct $6.95 from your refund to cover the cost of the return.
If your Canadian, do not shop here. There is different shipping rules for us. Long story short, it cost me $170.00 and I got NOTHING,, NOTHING. It would cost, e more to return that what the items are worth, and snarky, bad attitude service.

I still mostly stand by my original review but I have learned something about the product reviews that I feel is important to pass on. Just because you order a product doesn't mean you get to review it. I wanted to leave reviews on the items I received and was told by customer service that I would receive an email with information on how to review ONLY IF I was selected. Yes, they apparently select who can leave reviews. Probably the reason that so many of their products have mostly positive reviews. I wanted to leave information that would be helpful to other buyers like my height, weight and how they fit based on the size I purchased to better help others choose a size. Unfortunately, I haven't been "CHOSEN" for any of the items I have purchased over the last year. It's unfortunate because I'm sure others have great information to give but aren't allowed to.

I ordered a dress for an upcoming wedding and ordered 2 different sizes, XL & 1X because I didn't know which would fit better. My measurements are bust 42, waist 38 & hips 43. The 1X was WAY too big and though the XL fit I wanted to try a Large. I was able to call customer service and the representative sent out the Large with free shipping and my account will be credited once I send back the dresses I chose not to keep. The customer service was excellent and I found the dresses to be of quality. The bottom of the dress was different than shown on their website but that's nothing I can't work with. I wanted to leave a review but I could not locate a tab to do so even though there were reviews for the product listed. I sent an email to the appropriate department but I haven't heard back from them. They have a 90 day return policy and though I haven't sent the dresses back in order to see how they handle the credit I have to say that so far overall I had a very good experience. I do have friends who have ordered swimsuits and sun dresses and have been just a happy with their experience therefore leading me to order.
I purchased a hi low dress from this sight cheap material I was charged for my purchase and for me return that cheap crap! That's how they stay in business obviously not because the quality of their clothing for sure. I really rate this company with a negative star

Shipping issues a constant problem with this company. They got a "new" shipping company based from Germany and it's taking forever to get up here. The last Venus customer service rep had the audacity to suggest that it was a payment issue but I have proof that TD Visa processed payment immediately August 8th when I ordered. They (VENUS/SHIPPING) didn't process order and ship until August 12th. Why did my order end up in Nashville? In this day and age of FedEx/Purolator/UPS... why am I still waiting on my order on August 17th? Get with the times Venus!

Order was shipped Aug 1, it's Aug 15 and has not arrived yet. Shipping to Canada should not take this long. They have had my $$ since I ordered July 31. AND I have to pay duty when it arrives... CANADIANS STAY AWAY.

Wow, not only I had to pay for the initial shipping, they also charged for the return shipping refunding back only the partial amount of what I paid. Scammers, make money every way they can. Don't buy! Beware!

I purchased a bathing suit online and loved the look and feel of it. Size was perfect. I wore it 5 times over a period of 4 months and noticed a small hole in the side of it. I contacted customer service who said they couldn't do anything since it was purchased over 90 days ago. Extremely dissatisfied with the quality and poor customer service. They should have mailed a replacement since I had paid a stiff $60 for it! Never again will I order here, better quality at Wal Mart!

They charged me an extra $5 fee to return the clothes that didn't fit. They said they were not crediting me a "promotional shipping charge," whatever that means. Scam!

Ordered a swimsuit w/ a skirted bottom and bikini top. The fabric was cheap and flimsy and a bit see-through, and hardware was clunky. The top was lightly lined... looked cheap. Wont shop there again. Junky, walmart-ish.

Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
